When I start the tablet the Icons on the home screen are not shown and the app drawer is only covering half the screen.
As soon as I open an app things return to normal, the app drawer is full screen and my apps appear on the home screen.
I reset NL and experienced the same problem.
See enclosed screen shot of app drawer.
Any suggestions are welcome!!

Well, nobody seems to have this problem, tried to unistall it and reinstall it.
Finally removed it and guess what?? Stock Touchwiz is fine and running great.
I was fed up with nova launchers attitude towards the lack of sorting apps in the app drawer anyhow.
You don't happen to have the apps on sdcard do you?

No, there are no apps installed on my SD card.

Sometimes when i unlock my screen it goes to a black screen then it get back to the homescreen... after 2 seconds it get back to the homescreen

i have no idea what's going on exact, but if your problem with the homescreen, we assumed that u have problem with your launcher too.
So, what u have to do now is go to setting, then clear cache and clear data on your launcher or Touchwiz Home if u used stock launcher :good:

I don't know if the problem is with the lockscreen or with the touchwiz, i changed the launcher and still this problem... it happens when i install a lot of applications.

Ok just got me one of these crazy things and really love it. . But i have a couple of problems. It comes with 3 hone screens. The first thing I usually do is delete all the stuff of the hone screens so I cam make them my way. Here is my issues
1) there is a home screen with the calendar on it and I cannot seem to remove it. Try dragging it off the screen like ed very thing else bit nope.
2) I down loaded some apps and they went to one of the hone screens. . Didn't want it there so I dragged it off and now the app is nowhere to be seen. It is still installed as when I go to play store it says open. But it is not in apps or downloaded apps (I had to uninstall it and re install it.
3) I tried to create folders and they went into apps instead if the hone screen and I couldn't delete them or move them to the hone screens. Oddly enough when I restarted the tablet this am they were gone. .
Thanks for any help in these matters
1 That is the magazine widget page drag two fingers together on the page and it will go to the edit screen
2 there is an icon which appears at the top of the homescreen when you move an app icon, it says something like 'hide app'. If you have hit that icon you will probably find the app in app manager.
3 create folders in the app drawer then drag them onto the homescreen
So apparently there is a page just for widgets and it cannot be blank.. not sure I like this
No the app was not hidden..I dunno what the deal is
On another note I see no way to add other widgets.. like fancy widgets or any widgets downloaded from play store???

Well after some playing it appears you csnnot put normal widgets on the widget home screen and you cannot remove all the widgets off the widget screen. . That sucks. So now that widget screen is just going to be wasted. . Why have they made all these changes to normal android. For the first time since running android I guess I'll have to rim a launcher program. . I hate that. Unless someone has a solution to these issues

The issue is when i return home from an app or just goto home. I am unable to click anything on screen. The app icons are unresponsive but when i swipe it a bit from left to right or vice versa, it works.
This is really annoying. I have to swipe a bit and then click on an app icon.
Do u guys know why this happens? Any fixes?

It's probably not compatible. The developer says this
"The application was developed for devices with a 'clean' android, so the successful launch and operation of all functions on third-party shells (MIUI, EMUI, Samsung Experience, etc.) is not guaranteed"
The app also requires admin rights if you haven't enabled them.
This is kinda stupid, but it feels weird to have a phone with a screen like this and have so big icons, but this problem only occurs in the recent app screen, how from 4 apps I can make it show 5? (my home screen and my app screen are both 5x6 grid)

download good lock app from galaxy store, you can change some settings to your liking like recents

I've started getting split screen view to appear way too often, without me intending to call it up.
Then when it appears, I can drag the middle bar to the top or bottom to disable it, but then it reappears after a second again. It's really annoying.
Is anyone else experiencing this "feature?" How to disable it?
Does anyone have ideas? I wonder if it has to do with the Nova launcher?
Basically while on a Skype call, for example, I'd try to swipe up to minimize Skype and select another app, but instead of showing a full-screen app with a small Skype window, it goes to split screen.
If I move the middle bar up or down, it usually closes the second screen but within a second it reopens it again. Or closes the second app, but it opens the next app that's in the background.
I can't find a way to simply disable split screen, as I don't like using it on phones.
Swipe into your recent app drawer, then click on the app icon above the window.

This is definitely a Nova Launcher feature - as it isn't an option using the stock launcher. Just a guess, but I imagine you can disable said feature within the Nova Launcher settings.
Happened to mines once and I'm using stock launcher, I was in an app and opened a link on that app and it turned into split screen, I actually found it rather handy
