Android 6.0.1 - Insufficient storage error - Micromax Canvas A1

Today I updated my android one to android 6.0.1 build number MMB29K. Since some apps may crash after the update, I formatted my 32gb sd card as internal storage and reinstalled all apps again. But when I tried to install big games it says 'Insufficient Storage' eventhough there is plenty of storage available in sd card.
While installing apps some are getting installed directly into sd card and some apps are installed in phone memory. So I tried to move some apps from phone storage to sd card but there is no such option available which was previously there in android 6.0. Does anyone else facing the same issue..? or if this is the case for all users then there is no use of this feature.

Well I am also facing same issue...
Why don't you use link2sd app (root required).

there is an app called "APP BACKUP AND RESTORE". Download this app on your old phone. Open the app and transfer all desired app onto your SD card. Next, install the same app on your new phone. there is and option to restore all apps from SD card to your new phone. I've done this and it took about 10-15 minutes (depending on how many apps you are trying to transfer). HOPE THIS HELPS

The newer Samsungs are different in how they handle the SD card. They have their 2 GB internal memory, and therefore see the 16 GB internal memory mistakenly as the "SD card". Your actual SD card is mounted as a different partition altogether.
Someone help me out with this, but I don't think the standard App2SD will work because of this design. Somewhere out there is a mod that allows you to fake swap your internal memory with your SD card, but I've never tried it. I don't run a lot of huge applications so I haven't run into the issue, just seen it around.
Hopefully some searching will help with what I mentioned above or someone else can chime in with more experience.

Q: is the new marshmallow update better than lollipop?

Greetings,
I have to ask if the new marshmallow update is better than lollipop? After kitkat the mobile had the storage problem from the update, eating up 6.16 GB of space out of 8.00 GB, I dont want to update this software and end up with losing more space than I already have lost, If anyone can give me a review of it I would appreciate it.
Also Is there any official HTC Desire 816 Dual Sim files can be downloaded for marshmallow without going through OTA?
best regards.
Yes Marshmallow is better than Lolipop
In Marshamallow
Sd Card can be treated as internal storage
Smooth Ui
Battery Drainage problem is less
More Permissions for apps
Hell yes,
Biggest thing is the ability to format a SD card as internal storage. With this ability you can put in a 128GB class 10 SD card and format it as internal. Then you pretty much have like 200Gigs of space. The biggest thing on these phones is the space constriction. Android 5.0 allowed you to move "some" applications, 6.0 pretty much blends your SD storage with internal.
The UI is smoother and more refined.
Formatted SD card as internal storage, moved some apps to SD card, but whenever the apps in SD card gets update, they are moved automatically to internal storage and the app data data is lost. Does anyone face this issue?
There is a problem where in Android OS is using lots of data on internet, leading to loss of data packages in Android OS without any clue.

Help, i can't move my apps to external sd card

So I'm using htc desire 620g dual sim and i already rooted my phone successfully. Then i installed link2sd and lucky patcher just so i can move my apps to my ad card since my internal storage is running low. When i tried link2sd it said that "app2sd is not supported by your device because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from your internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your sd card." So i did just that, i tried linking to sd card but then it said that "/data/sdext2 mount not found. After that, i tried using lucky patcher, i selected sd card as the default memory on the toolbox part but when i tried moving ghe apps it said " Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE] but then i have 22gb left in my sd card.
Please help, i don't know what to do anymore. Please help.

SD card as internal storage but can't install on it

I have a HTC one m8, not rooted, Android 6.0 and set my SD card as internal storage but when I want to install apps from the play store I keep getting the message about not having enough memory but the SD has 32gigs free space.
How can I get the apps to install normally? I also can't move any app to the SD card.

How migrate Data from Internal Storage to ExSD Card ? Marshmallow 6.0.1

Hello all
I m on Marshmallow ROM [AOKP]. No i have formatted my ExSD Card as Internal storage in my phone. Then i connected my phone to Laptop and transferred data. Now my phone is showing insufficient storage notification. So i went to Settings/Storage & USB/ExSD Card/Migrate Data... Now the migration of data freezes and doesn't complete.
SO is there any other way to migrate data from internal storage to ExSD Card ? I have a Class 6 memory card.
My questions:
1. if we still have to migrate data from internal storage to ExSD, then what is the meaning of formatting ExSD as internal storage ?
2. Is there anyway we can migrate data via ES File Explorer ? [Though i cant see ExSD Card in ES File Explorer cz i have flashed it as Internal Storage.]
plz Guide me...

link2sd doesn't work on Marshmallow, I have read. I am about to downgrade to lollipop, because of the multitude of issues I have with the way the sd card is handled, including that no media on the card seem to be indexed.
Which ROM of marshmallow you are using ? Bcuz I am using AOKP and link2sd is working
