Does anybody have Indian Rom ver. 45.0?

Can anybody provide me the Indian version rom for Redmi 1S whether it is CWM backup or flashable zip/fastboot rom.
The one I have is a global version(Recovery based) and the link that says Indian version rom on MIUI site i.e the fastboot version is also the global version i.e both the roms provided there(Recovery flashable and fastboot) are global versions.

Bro I too thought so but I tried both recovery based and fastboot roms..the global ones..but found some differences..like crt off effect,english miui themes,browser app,google services like google now and other apps were present in the Indian version rom and not in the global version.I know how to get these as add ons but it would have been nice if they were already present in the rom itself.

I knowingly wiped my data partition via cwm on first day with miui. so I know what you are talking about.
But If you flash_all.sh with fastboot ROM and
then reboot into recovery
& flash the Global ROM via recovery ( last one I tried was v43 )
it gives you the exact thing that Flipkart ships. with WPS office / gapps / flipkart n stuff.
So dont feel cheated, its all in there in Global rom itself.. I will make a video if you want

[Q] Desire 816G CM11 port

I read the tutorial about porting from same MTK processor to same MTK processor like 6589 to 6589
Desire 816G is a MTK 6582 and the android one phones , the micromax ,karbonn and spice are MTK 6582 phones too.
The android one series got CM 11
so i was thinking if it could be ported to the Desire 816G

Yes ive ported it but i dont have a desire 816g now i gave it to my father and im scared to try it out cause there is no emergency reboot on that phone and you need to drain the battery to fix a bootloop , i have it built if you want to test say and ill upload but i wont test it myself

First use this link and install cwm:

Then put the ROM zip on external SD and flash OK ?
I'll be uploading soon till then install cwm and remember that I am not responsible for any damage whatsoever!

Cynogenmod roms cannot be installed by cwm recovery.You will have to install other recovery like twrp.

However I cannot install cynogen on 816(snapdragon 400) and micromax canvas hd(mediatek) via cwm.

You can power down device by the following key combination and the come back to the recovery mode selection screen if your device is in boot loop.
First, press all the 3 buttons i.e. Vol up + vol down + power. Then when the devices shuts down use the key combination of launching recovery mode i.e. Vol down + power immediately or else it goes back to boot screen.

Please fix the mounting of internal storage in the cwm for 816g. Would be really helpful.

Hey guys ! I have an LG F240L ( Korean) and recently Rooted it and Installed Cwm recovery 6.0.4.4 0r 6.0.4.8 don't remember it now ....
Now I need a custom Rom for it which should ...
Which one is the best interms of Battery mainly and overall Performance ... 4.4 which one ?

Two updates are available 4.4.2 and 5.0 for F240L. Which one is better. Every other person is suggesting not to go for 5.0

It's up to u bro wheter u like lollipop or not . i myself updated to lollipop but the battery is not upto the mark in 5.0 so i downgraded to 4.4 again

No specific Indian version hasn't been released yet.
This is Chinese version, but this ROM also has English included. So you can easily flash and set it up for English.
You can find the link for the recovery ROM in the OP. It can be directly flashed through TWRP or some other custom recovery.

No it fails to flash using twrp. Either I am not updated with current version of twrp is a reason or it may only be flashed with stock recovery.

I would have rather used fastboot ROM in order to update basband ,for better network and less battery drain.

one of the most welcome feature of this miui6 update is that u can use any of the sims either 1or 2 for 3g services without physically changing sim slots.

Official beta global miui6 has also been released, check miui forum for more details.

Rooting canvas a1 android one

I am using this phone from a year now, its performance is nice but since android marshmallow update I have experienced few lags 3-4 times. So should I root it??? And should I receive updates after rooting??? If I root it, is there any need of custom ROM and if yes , which one????

If u want to modify ur phone then root it after rooting u will not get ota frm google there are many custom rom available here.......

Download the marshmallow rooting zip from xda then flash through sp flash tools or recovery

i have micromax android one...
i want to install latest released version of cm13 available in cm site.
now i want to root. Which one i should use for rooting
1. cm installer-- does this give me root accesss and to get back into stock rom when i needed? Does it support all root apps?
2. SuperSU v2.67
3. ALL-IN-ONE TOOL
and please provide me the process or link to get back to stock rom
please provide me gapps for my android6.0.1

Just download SuperSU zip file for Marshmallow from XDa,Unlock bootloader and flash that zip from your preferred recovery.

Yepppi!! Go for custom ROM there alots of rom for a1

Use adb commands.. To flash custom recovery then take backup of current system/data (for safety) then flash custom ROM(which ever u want) and 6.0 gapps and u r good to go

For marshmallow cm ROM....u should try SuperSU flashable version
