Hi everyone, just tried my browser on the Nvidia Shield TV and seems to work well. If your in need of a simple and easy browser to work with your remote give it a try. The browser is meant for handheld devices so dont expect too much at the moment. I am thinking to rework it to be completely compatible with Android TV and have it available on the TV store . I have only sideloaded the pro version and i am posting the pro apk for you guys free of charge to give it a try. I am planning to start development after the holidays so please be patient and in the mean time let me know what you think.
Here are the links in the Play Store to check it out:

Pro: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aplustech.minimalbrowserx&hl=en
Merry Christmas to all

I sideloaded Chrome and it works fine if you have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Just saying.
I think that's exactly what nankoc is saying. Having a browser where you don't need a keyboard & mouse.
Will try it, thanks.
Can we integrate adblock plus addons with it ? i want to get rid of ads.
Chrome Dev has some partial controller support but I'll give this one a go.
Thank you for letting us test the pro version. I'll try it tonight when I get home along with some other stuff I've collected.
Edit: I played around with it last night for a few minutes. I had some difficulty selecting options on the sidebars, though. I also thought they should auto-hide when not selected because they're covering up parts of web pages. If you can integrate voice search, that would be helpful, but I have no idea how difficult that would be.

Hi Guys,
I am writing a small application called Open WiFi Finder and I am looking for some Beta testers.

It is a .NET 3.5/OpenNETCF application that tries to locate open WiFi Access points. It does so by repeatedly trying to connect to the most powerful AP and ping a well known address for reply.
I am planning to sell this app on the Marketplace for a small fee, but before doing so, I would like to gain more confidence by testing it to more devices. I only own two rather old HTCs and it seems to work fine. Yet, I suspect that it behaves very differently with the various wireless adapters out there.
So please, If you like to help me with this, PM me with your email/device model so I can send you the cab to try it. It only supports Touch Screen devices with QVGA/WQVGA/VGA/WVGA. Of course, all selected beta testers will get the final cab free of charge..!
EDIT: I now have enough people willing to try it. I will let you know if I want some more. Thanks again everybody.
EDIT2: Link for download is here:

I would be more than happy to help you out with this. I have a tilt 2. I have helped out several people and replied with my findings. thanks
just looking for a good .torrent downloader app, one that downloads the torrents to the phone and not remote to your computer. Trying the bittorrent app right now, and it seems to be a little crappy. when i start a download it only connects to about 4 seeds and only goes about 3 kb/ps with WiFi. Do I have to change something in my settings to download faster?
There are a few torrent apps in the market. Just search for torrent.
How about trying out aBTC? I however think setting up a remote is much better.

definitely the wrong forum for this, btw
Andtorrent is the best for this.

I was in the same boat as you a couple weeks ago. I didn't want a remote downloader. I found a beta version of an app called dTor. A quick google search of "dTor android bittorrent" should bring up some more info for you. Also, check out BluePlanetApps on twitter. That's the developer.
I had some problems with the app while it was in beta. The developer said that it was running fine for everyone except three people with EVOs. We all sent him various logs and I believe he got all the bugs worked out (guess that's the point of beta, right?). Ironically, it sounds like there's a chance the full version will be released today.
Despite the problems that I had, I thought it was a great app that did exactly what I was looking for. If the developer got those minor bugs worked out, then it's going to be a winner.
Thread moved to Q&A.
Swarm will be on the market soon!

Here's a screenie...I got lucky to be a beta tester...offical market release should be very soon. Like within days.

Swarm is in the market now for $4.99 I am checking it out now. I tried dTor but it would force close on boot. This one appears to be working. The 10 peers max is definitely a downer though.
Hello to all Moto 360 users!
I've acquired a Moto 360 a few weeks ago, and I've decided to challenge myself a bit and port my latest game on it. I know smart watches aren't the best devices for games, but I'm quite happy with my current progress, and I decided to upload it on the Play Store and share the development with the forum members.
There's still room for progress, and I'm still actively working on Cyber Runner to improve the user experience and performance, so feel free to share any remarks, suggestions or thoughts. Oh, it's supposed to work on any smart watch, if anyone else has any other watch devices, feedback will also be welcome.
Instructions: swipe up on left side of watch screen to jump, swipe down to get off a platform and tap on right side of watch screen to shoot.

Have fun, looking forward to all feedback!
Hello!
I've updated the game to version 1.2, with a few enhancements and changes for Android Wear. Has anyone had the occasion to try it on Moto 360 or any other Wear device? All feedback is welcome.
Hello to all!
Version 1.2.1 is out, with several improvements and enhancements for Android Wear. I'm quite happy with the progress I have made since the first version supporting Android Wear, and the game works quite neatly on my Moto 360 now.
Feel free to give the game a try and share your thoughts with me.
Looks amazing!
Can you add some video to the Google Play to see the game process on phone and Moto 360?

Hello,
Sorry for the late response, I've really been busy in the past couple of months and had a few health issues. Thank you for your interest in the game. I haven't got a good camera so it's going to be difficult to film for the Moto 360 (unless somebody knows how to make video captures on wearables), but I'll see what I can do for phones.
By the way, version 1.2.2 is on its way, with various enhancements and optimisations. Enjoy!
Can somebody with a rooted device(assume it's needed to pull apk from fire TV/stick) please download then able to pull from device the .apk and upload so I can then load on to my firestick.

I would also like this apk. Searched all over the Internet but can't not find it.
I also would like the apk to the official JW Broadcasting app so I can port it to my Google Nexus Player. But I would also suggest that if you would like it published in the Google Play store for Android TV, let the organization know by submitting a suggestion here:

Sorry for the lack of a direct link, I'm still too new on here.
Here is the app.

No problem. Glad to help. Let me know if you guys need anything else.
Thanks guys.
Anyone know how to make this display correctly on my Nvidia Shield. I can only see a portion of the screen.
Unfortunately these apks don't work on Android TV. Not sure why a similar apk can't be developed for ATV
Hi Guys, how are you?
Sorry if the title doesn't meet the rules, I didn't came here since my Nexus 5 died, a long time ago!
Well, enough talk about me.
The title says it all, is there any way to use and/or remap the TV stick remote control with a PC (Windows 10) with bluetooth or, if not, any other protocol?
I've been lookin for everywhere and in the very little informations I got, nothing seem's to work. I can pair the remote on my PC through bluetooth, it register under the nickname of "AR", but the remote does nothing. AHK and AHKHID doesn't register the remote pressed buttons so I can't remap them. I'm new to AHK, so maybe I do something wrong.
If you have any information to give me, don't be shy!
I want to use it for Plex on Windows, my old laptop does a pretty nice job as media center. As of why I don't use the TV Stick, it's because it's the worst, most unusable, slower, buggier piece of garbage I ever bought, thankfully it was cheap, but I don't even understand how such a product can reach the market, in it's final days, it couldn't even start Prime Video. But the remote control might be useful!
Have a nice day you all!

Hi 0815hoffi! Thanks for your time! I was so desperate that I already tried, mind you, and AntiMicro simply tell me that it find no device ^^'
Thanks for the try ^^
I ordered a cheap'o remote... on Amazon, they got me all the time. It's just sad, because if the Amazon Remote had a way to remap keys, it would make less waste... I won't use even though it's working great
