does anyone know *definitively* which google apps can be safely deleted? - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

does anyone know *definitively* which google apps can be safely deleted on a bootloader unlocked & rooted H815 (with stock ROM)

All? Depends on your needs. You can kill all, except at least "Zero":

I guess I was referring more to Google apps - I once had an Android phone (forget the model) that even with root and unlocked bootloader, if you removed certain Google apps, such as Google Play Books, Google Play Music, Google Play Newsstand etc. then you would soft-brick the phone!
also, is Hangouts required for SMS to work correctly? (I am using 3rd party SMS such as Go SMS Pro)
also things like Google+, Gmail, Youtube, etc - I don't want any Google crap except Google Maps and Sky Map and Google Play Store

No brick, if you remove those apps. Hangouts isn't necessary, because you already have at least "Messages" installed. I also removed all the files you mentioned and no brick. And because of this reason, it's similar to the graphic I posted .

Also market enabler is not working, but it must work without market enabler because paid apps is available in Netherlands.
I hope someone can help
I posted this in a similar thread; http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=1ea082d443f3d16c&hl=en
Mine was exactly like yours in the picture and following the suggestion above fixed it completely.
I have a Belgian simcard and I see the same market as you do. But I remember when I had my Dutch card in, there was an updated market in my app list in settings. If you go to the the manage applications list, does the market show an option to uninstall the update? If not, maybe you are missing the update which makes it possible to get paid apps?

Apps stuck on Downloading From Google Play 4.4.2

Hi I am unable to download or update any apps from Google Play Store.
This problem occurred when I updated my LG G2 Sprint LS-980 to Stock Kitkat 4.4.2 From Stock 4.2.2.
The progress of download does show up in notification bar but it just gets stuck there.
I've tried clearing data/cache of playstore, google play services, google services framework and Downloads but this couldn't help it.
I've also remove the Google Play Account , Reboot and then put my Google Play ID but this didn't work either.
Lastly I tried to install a latest google play apk version 4.9.13 (I guess it's latest) but the problem is still there. Cannot download or update any applications from Google Play.
Please help me out guys !!
P.S : It was working fine with 4.2.2 stock rom with root. Also I am only using WiFi to download/update. I don't have a mobile data connection or I would've tried that out too.

Turn off Wi-Fi and then turn back on. Or... Look for the actual app that is downloading at the current moment. Cancel the download of that one app, then the rest will begin to download.

Google Play Store deleted, how can I fix this issue?

I may have done something stupid. I uninstalled Google Play Store, like completely, on accident. I went online and found an APK of what I thought was the current version of the Play Store from here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1996995 ). Now I'm not able to open the Play Store without it saying "Google Play Store has stopped working".. How can I fix this issue?
Do I have to reset my entire phone now? (please say no)
Did you gave all the permissions to google play apk?
How could I give it "all permissions"? These are the ones it has now

It's going to be hard to help you if you don't know what all mean. 2,3,24 permissions all means all no mater how many are there. That's why i said all.
You can try to reboot and see.
Alright but how could I give it ALL permission? If you tell me how I'll do it (you don't have to dumb it down).. And rebooting doesn't really do anything, I've done that like 6 times already and I'm still getting the "has stopped working" message.
Try flashing gapps again (opengapps.org). Make sure to flash the arm64 version.
You need to make Google Play a system app. You can do it by using Titanium Backup. I've had this problem on Google Dialer, and moving to system partition worked for me.

Apps like Playstore or MS Outlook keep stopping

I'm using LineageOS on my OnePlus 3T for about a month now and everything was fine until some days ago. I installed LineageOS alongside GApps pico back then.
If I try to view apps in the Playstore, the Playstore crashes. It crashes even if I remove its data and cache. The only way I can use it is to disable and enable it. Then I can view apps without any problem until I install one. After installing an app I can view apps until I hit the install button. Then it's back to its old behaviour and I have to disable and enable it again.
Outlook just crashes when I'm opening it and only uninstalling and reinstalling solves the problem. But after some time it keeps crashing.
I installed yesterday's update to see whether it fixes my problem but it doesn't.
I'm not sure what Finsky is but I think it has something to do with the Playstore and I found those errors in Catlog. I don't know its meaning though. Could somebody help me troubleshoot this issue?

Google Calendar and TianiumBackup now also crash when opening. I will have to restore a backup of OxygenOS but I don't really want to go back to it

Added features unavailable on this phone. This may be because your phone is rooted or altered in some other way.

Is there anything I can do?
Is your phone rooted with Magisk?
In order to enable Magisk Hide, switch to older Magisk version (v23.0 or older) instead.
follow this video
I faced the same problem but fixed it following these steps.
1. make sure safety net is passing. (if u have shamiko, disable it)
2. enable zydisk and enforce denylist.
3. add gpay and google play services to denylist (try to add as many google related apps as possible)
4. use hidemyapp list to hide all root related apps for gpay and play services.
5. force stop and clear data of gpay, and play services
try now, i hope it will start working again
