Sony Smartwatch 3 not able to communicate back to phone (phone to watch works) - Sony Smartwatch 3

I've been using a SW3 for about a month without anything strange, but since about 2 days ago an issue happen: the watch can still receive notification from phone (email, fb message,...) that comes to phone still shows up on the watch, with watch vibrations,... I can install new watch face apps on the phone and the watch can receive those faces and set them. But I cannot interact with the notifications using the watch. For example, previously I can just choose "Archive" to archive an email directly from watch:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now when I tap it, it shows
"Open on phone" is also grayed out:
And in the wifi settings, when choosing opening help on phone, it shows
But I have the phone right next to the watch, with all bluetooth and wifi enabled on both. The phone can continue to push notifications to the watch just fine.
I tried resetting the watch (twice), uninstall update for "Google Play Services" on phone and reupdate, clear data for "Android Wear" app on phone and re-pair the watch but nothing works.
Please help!

YouTube Preload "Watch Later" Not Working

I have a Sprint Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.1.1 and I have had the Preload "Subscriptions" and Preload "Watch Later" option enabled on my phone when connected to WiFi and charging, but every since the option became available I have never been able to get the "Watch Later" playlist to preload. I find a video I want to watch that's not on my subscriptions, add it to my watch later playlist, and it refuses to preload when I'm charging and on WiFi. The subscription preload works great for me though. So I'm just wondering if this is a common problem, or maybe I am doing something wrong, or if there is some kind of tweak that maybe I'm not aware of.
You need to open the app for it to star loading.
I marked videos as "Watch Later" within the YouTube app
Did you check the watch later tab on your channel?
Yep the videos show up in the watch later tab but refuse to preload
That's very odd as I use the feature all the time. I do remember when I first started using it though it didn't work. I guess you gotta give it time. Also check to see if youtube is using any background data on WiFi.
It should look something like this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

Music control on watch

Today I received my Galaxy Watch and I'm pretty happy with it. However I cannot control music on my phone with my watch.
I open music app on my watch, press connect to device. It says connecting for some time after which i get a message that it couldn't connect.
I tried with Google Podcasts, TimberX, Youtube Vanced, Shuttle+.
Any ideas?

I don't use TimberX or Shuttle+ but everything I use works fine with the player.
Try reseting the watch, check for updates on the gear and galaxy app. Then open the music app on the watch not the widget.

Resetting didn't help. Watch was updated yesterday, apps are up to date
EDIT:
The interesting part is. It stared showing background images/album covers and changes play pause button depending if I'm playing or not. But im still unable to control the music and I need to connect to the phone. Weird situation

Galaxy Watch Active 2 - Notifications?

Hey Guys,
hopefully a real brief one here.
I just picked up a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 - Using it with my Samsung Note 10+
Ive found one annoying thing, where if i receive for example a text message notification - my phone will vibrate in my pocket, and then a second or two later my watch will vibrate, so essentially im receiving two notification events for each single notification the watch displays.
On some other smartwatches, ive usually found a setting where if im wearing the watch, only the watch will vibrate for notifications, and the phone will remain silent in my pocket, thereby fixing that.
However i am unable to find that setting anywhere in the galaxy wear app, the samsung phones settings, or on the watch itself.
Any idea if this is possible on this watch model, and if so - where?
Thank you
I just move from wear os to watch active 2 and I'm facing the same problem too. I setup bixby routine to set phone on mute when it's connected to watch. Not sure if there's other way to fix this
There have this option on Galaxy wearable app on the phone Home-Notifications-Show only while wearing (ON) - Mute connected phone

That does it!
Sometimes options are well hidden.

ASUS ZENWATCH NOT WORKING ON LATEST ANDROID WEAR

Hello i always had the ASUS zen watch but i haven't been using it for a year or two in this pandemic. When i turned it on its so slow that i cannot operate. touch delays are very long. so somehow i hard reset it and connected to my wear os app (updated) and now i am getting "google play store stopped working message" and "android wear is not working do you want to force close it" also "Process System isnt responding" message. i successfully connected few times. even got notifications but after sometime i get the message again and the watch becomes extremely slow
Things i did--
1. Went to recovery and factory reset after clearing cache
2. Uninstalled wear OS and installed again.
3. Cleared Google play Services data and cache and tried again.
Seems like nothing is working. can anyone please help me to solve this.
I really love this watch and wouldn't want to throw it away.

Question Problem since I updated to One UI 4.0

Hi everyone.
I have a very very annoying problem onj Z Fold 3 since I installed the update with One UI 4.0
Almost all media audio is played on Galaxy Watch 4 instead on the phone: all youtube audio, all voice messages in all messengers and notifications sounds from the phone are being played on the watch.
Watch is NOT listed as an media output device, but does this all by imitating a phone call (?!?) from a number 10000000 (picture shown).
This happens most of the time when I do not see it, and the virtual call remains there until I disconnect it manually, also, drains all the battery of the watch in 5-6 hours.
Please help. I temporarily solved that by disabling all kind of phone calls on the watch, but that is not a solution for me since I need to be able to manage calls on the watch.
Thanks!

Have you done a factory reset on the watch to see if the issue persists?

If nobody appears here with a specific solution, I will have to try that. It's a ***** to go trough config again unless really necessary
