HTC 820s is a mediatek device, so it doesnt have a bootloader (hboot) but it has fastboot mode. So there's no question of unlocking something that doesnt exist in your phone.
You can try to flash .img file through fastboot( kindly post back and confirm if it works for you)
Alternatively you can flash a custom recovery through SP Flash tool just like flashing micromax devices Simply replace the stock recovery.img with your custom recovery and rename it to recovery.img and tick ONLY recovery after loading scatter file.

I had an HTC One M8 phone, Model no: op6B630 M8y.
HTC One M8 phone purchased was very slow with a lot of bloatware, cannot remove them, so I tried to root it and flashed with CWM rom, but it became bricked, bootloader only display "=>FASTBOOT mode...", after normal boot it will display "User interface crashed".
I used ADB command, fastboot getvar all

Your getvar result show it is not a HTC device.
More like a clone/fake device if it is not HTC.
Try command fastboot devices .. what no. is shown ?
If it is 0123456789abcd or MTKxxxx_phone then definite fake/clone HTC.

Ok.. it's a clone device not original HTC. Nothing much you can do about it. If you just bought it, try ask for a refund.
Hello,
Model- K8 Note 64/4
Stock Oreo firmware with last update.
My device was working fine till last night. This morning I saw that my mobile was stuck in a bootloop. I don't know what happened overnight.
I tried to go to the recovery mode by pressing Vol up + Power button and there I selected recovery mode but the Lenovo logo came up and again it got stuck in bootloop. I can't even go to recovery mode.
I flashed OMB 27.43-20 and OMB 27-43-45 these two ROMs using SP flash tool, but still it's stuck in bootloop.
Fastboot recognizes my mobile, but since my mobile does not have its bootloader unlocked, I don't know what I can do with it.
Here is the result which I got after using "fastboot getvar all" command-

Hi everybody,
Yesterday, my volume and power buttons were not working, so I made an adb reboot. I got locked for hours on adb recovery menu, i reset the phone and then it unlocked by himself.
Then i'm here, i get for no reason the screen "FASTBOOT" with the lil rabbit engineering android since yesterday 20 p.m. I tried vol + power buttons but i always come back in that fastboot picture. I can't apply adb command because since I had reset the phone, my USB debug is not active. I have no Mi acc.
Do somebody have a solution ?

Thanks for your answer, already tried it : I come back on that screen...
Only thing I can think of is you corrupted the recovery partition if you can't get there with vol+ and power.
Flash twrp, then rom? Or just flash the stock ROM from fastboot? Whichever you prefer.
"Fastboot flash recovery image" is the command

Hi, please help!
My Redmi Note 8 Pro (China Rom) is stuck on Bootloop. Can't go into recovery, just blinks then goes back to bootloop. Can go into Fastboot however, but I don't know how to flash it. I have downloaded a stock MIUI 11 .TGZ file

How to recover this phone from hard brick(You have to do this before hard bricking your device ):
Note: This process is not tested yet, and probably will cause hard brick, but if this process is successful, then you will never hard brick your device again as you will be able to recover from any future hard brick.
The idea is, we can use miracle tool to recover realme U1 from hard brick phone, if we can flash preloaders from realme U1 into realme 3, I think this phone will also support recovery from hardbrick
1. You will have to flash the realme U1 preloaders into this phones preloader partition using fastboot:

2. Whenever you are hard bricked, you can use miracle tool to recover:

I am currently not doing any development for this phone, so I will not be replying to any of the realme 3 thread, I kindly request you to search all my threads for answer rather than asking questions.
I hope this will help someone who would like to develop something for this phone.
I have a pixel C and the following is happening;
- When I boot normal I can see the google wording in the center of the screen but after that no video is displayed, but I can hear notification sounds like its actually in the OS and I can hear the lock / unlock sounds when pressing the power button.
- When pressing the Power + down buttons I get into an area where I can select fast boot mode or recovery or usb recovery.
- - I can get into fastboot mode and use it but can't wipe data or flash anything because OEM lock is on...
- - If I select recovery, I get the google wording for a while and then I think it just boot loops into the OS again
- - I can get into USB Recovery, but have no idea what this is or how to use it.
Not sure how to proceed or what is up with this no video after the Google wording is displayed. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Here is some fastboot commands output

./fastboot format userdata

If you are lucky just run fastboot oem unlock or the equivalent fastboot flashing unlock and after that you can flash/format whatever.
Otherwise, if you still have the secure flag set to 'yes' after unlocking, please search a bit: I am personally spamming for days about this issue of brick/bootloop here on XDA.
Already tried the unlock :'(
Code:
./fastboot oem unlock
FAILED (remote: 'Enable OEM unlock is not set')

Code:
