i bought today a G3 - D855 - 16GB model
and checked the software information it says
android version
4.4.2
software version
V10g-EUR-XX
so i tapped the update center and then software update and it found a new update:
V10h-AUG-05-2014 (213,90MB)
and when i try to download it, it says cannot download and the bar stays at 0% and when i click it i get:
SERVER ERROR
Problem with server. Please try later.
and the problems stays, tried factory reset and everything...nothing helps

You can also update via kdz or tot, take a look at this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
Maybe it's a problem of your network, or maybe just the server is off (?). You should try later :v

No. I have exact the same problem.
When i try to update it with LG Mobile Support Tool, i got the message that the mobile is uptodate. Due it has only ver 4.4.2. So i tried LG PC Suit, it finds a new update, but after a while some error message shows.
There has to be more than me and suxxes that have this issue.

there you will find the latest update for your phone. just enter your imei number, download the file and flash it.

I did exactly as you said. Searched for my IMEI no. and got one hit: D85510A_00.kdz
I installed the drivers and LG Flash Tool 2014.
Everything seemed to work, Apart from LG Flash Tool 2014 that showed a lot of question marks (??? ????).
When the flashing was done, the mobile started up with the installation/configuration as usual. But what is this?....still Android 4.4.2!!! What the heck!

Hi Guys
I flashed the CN mod rom on to my korean f240k a few months ago because i wanted to remove the subscribed network notifcation but now ive decided i want to go back to a stock rom.
I have tried to run the restore on the lg support tool but they have updated it and it doesnt seem to work now, also the flash tool doesnt open on my windows 8 laptop..
Is there any other ways of completely resetting the device?

Easy, put your imei number instead xxx it the link http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=xxx and you'll see link to latest KDZ ROM file for you F240K. Download it, find KDZ_FW_UPD_EN somewhere here and flash your KDZ onto phone. You're fixed!

Thanks mate but when i tried the link it gives me an error. Doesnt load? (I changed xxx to my imei)
Maybe LG server is down.. Ill try tonight @ home

imei should be straight bunch of digits, 15 in my case, without any dashes - or qoutes " or `
it must work, this way your phone connect to update servers and downloads it's updates

Okay, so i have already searched the forums and the google but i couldn't get any satisfying answer.
So here is what happened. I purchased an LG G3 f400s (i reside in India) and the device was delivered today. The box contained 2 batteries, a dock, a wall charger, USB cable and the earphones. There is an antenna in the top right corner too.
What i did,
1. When i received the device, i booted it up and initially set it up. Then i went to update center to update via OTA but got an error (screenshot attached below). So, i decided to factory reset the device and set it up again but i ran into the same problem. All the LG apps are updating via update center but software isn't updating to 5.0
2. After a lot of tries, i decided to update via LG PC suite. But even it gave me an error. (screenshot attached)
3. After a lot of brain wrecking, i decided to update via KDZ. I went to this site http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=41 and entered my IMEI in check new firmware. Even that gave me an error. (screenshot attached)
I have even contacted the seller and he assures that the phone is 100% original.
Now i have no clue what to do. If any of the community members could help me out, i would be really grateful and would buy you a cup of coffee too. :crying:

Should I flash lollipop kdz for f400s?
if you have a box, check imei number on the one of the labels. it might be a fake phone or something related with failed rooting/flashing/unlocking

My device is Korean so it came in a white box as all the other Korean versions come with. Here it is
Also, the ir blaster and laser focus both work....

Currently I'm downloading lollipop kdz.
Is there any other way to check if the phone is original or not?
What all I've checked,
1. Cpu-z, antutu and quadrant all show snapdragon 801, 3gb ram, 32gb Rom.
2. Both box and phone state the phone to be f400s. Even the back of the phone as various places where f400 is written.
3. The ir blaster and laser focus both work.
4. Resolution is 2k. I checked it in details when I took a screenshot.
5. Camera does record in 4k.
The only concern is,
1. Imei is not being recognized on "lg phone from" but on another imei site, it does show lg f400s.
2. Both ota and pc suite are showing errors.

The phone does not have any sticker saying "not for sale" or "testing device" below the battery.. So I suppose it's not that... Should I flash lollipop kdz on it or further wait?

Hi,
after some test with some bumped images on boot i receive this warning: "warning current version is not available for user. can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc[], subset[]"
Already searched on forum but seems nobody have empty bracket (mcc/mnc[], subset[]) like me.
Another fact is that even if i revert to kitkat with unbrick method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2772199) restoring stock rom, when i made upgrade again to lollipop with lg pc suite the warning returns.
My phone is a LG G3 32 no brand italy, i would like to remove this warning.

Also my software version which was (D855) V10-IND-SL changed to V10-Global-SL automatically & only getting update via pc suite,not from inside the device.I wish someone could help me out with this....:crying: thanks
I had the same issue. I downloaded LG From app which informed me i had a Taiwan D855 (32) and at the bottom gave me the correct Stock rom for my device, which i then downloaded the KDZ of and installed then upgraded OTA and after the upgrade no more warning. Hope this is of some help.

Did not help.I think I am having problem with misc partition as any region code or subset not showing in the warning.. & If this is the problem then can i recover the phone data from misc partition? If somebody knows please help..

tallman43 ..the thing is when i flashed that rom which gives me error..then in that rom i cant do anything ...not even can read sdcard or anything neither can install apps from adb ...nothing so how i will going to flash the zip file you gave

Sorry I didn't realize it was that bad:crying: Try flashing a kdz from the link I gave you but try one from your country or near to where you live.Also make sure you do a clean cse install with flashtool not a normal install and see if that works.

thanks for your support....actually i m from india....and i have downloaded all the files from india directory aslo d855 european...and many other d855.....nothing seems to work...everything flashed but none of them work they all stucked at the boot logo and the restarted.........as i have told earlier i was using d855v10i......if you can find the link to download that file.....and if that file works...man it will be a great help for me......or anything else you can just find to unbrick my device....

@abhi831661 if the kdz dowwnloader says you are supposed to have a ls kdz try flashing that one, not sure if you are the first owner but if you aren't it is possible somebody tried to make it a d855

yess i opened my phone yesterday..... as krishna13 told me....and yes in motherboard...it was not d855...it was ls990....i think that is the only reason that my d855 kdz are not flashing....if you got any other procedure told me.....i can only go to recovery and download mode.......not fastboot

Like I said in the title, I rooted my device with Kingroot and then replaced with with SuperSU via SuperSU-me.
When I opened SuperSU it told me it needed to update binaries(?), after I allowed it, it said I should restart the device. I did that and now it's stuck in bootloop.
Tried reseting it to factory settings with recovery mode but it's not helping.
Phone was on stock LG Lollipop if that makes any difference

Have you tried using the LG flash tool to flash a stock rom back onto your phone?
I ended up in a bootloop a while back with no recovery options and that's what I had to do to fix it.
I've found this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 but I don't know what file to download from that StorageCow website :/

You will need to download the right file for your region and gigabyte amount.
You'll be able to identify the one you need by looking at the file names. (As an example, if you live in Europe you would download "LGD855AT-V10e-EUR-32G.zip").
You will also need to download the .dll from the bottom of the list.
