windows mobile 6.1 release..

Wasn't windows mobile 6.1 supposed to be released n mid february? its the end of the month n i haven't heard any word about it.. can some 1 please update me?

I have not heard anything about the release yet...

some folks in the smartphone forum are cooking a version of 6.1 to work with a vox. not sure if anyone is working on a version for us but sounds like they're making progress over there anyway.

Pre-release beta test versions for the Moto Q8 were leaked, and that's what people used to cook WM6.1 ROMs for various HTC smartphones.
I made one for StarTrek a couple days ago. Just like the WM6.1 Professional for touchscreen devices, it is not an official release.

it is multilingual, include both english and chinese language files

Yes ,It is aWWE Edition,but chinese will be the default language,when initialization done.
This ROM is with full English support ,but you have to switch it 2 English.

i need 3houres to transalte it (((

I asked some MS Mobile reps at the Windows 2008 launch in NY. The quote was '6.1 for the dash will be soon, don't worry, it won't be September.'

has anyone installed that chinese 6.1 rom?? do you like? how does it compared to the new HTC ROM??? anyone ..bueller...bueller???

The diference from new HTC ROM:
The WM 6.1 improvements - use google to read about it
Many many useful tools - its hell more easy to have almost everyting you need in ROM - cracked and working
The speed is good - I don't know is this faster then new HTC, but it's fast enough and definitely is not slower.
New super cool sliding theme with usefull staff.
And that is all I see for now.
The big fat minus is the fact this rom is for Chinese people. You have full translation for Windows, but some programs is on stable Chinese language - but you don't need to use everything. I speak about 2-3 tools. Everything else is in English.

I answered in comments. I found this http://www.slipstreamsolutions.co.uk/support/rom_updates.htm but i had a rx3715 in a old time.. Impossible to update or cook!

i have touch pro 2 and i have n97 and i want to import my contacts from the rhodium to n97 but i don't know how cuz i have been using pocetpcs for the last 7 years and i know nothing any more about nokia divices i know that i should not ask for an advice about nokia here but i can't find any thing about a packup software that works on both divices so plzzzzzzzz help me with any advice . sory for being of topic

If you have outlook, both phones sync to Outlook. Outlook Express should offer the same and it's been standard up to Vista.

Navigation for HTC Touch Pro 2

Hello i have my phone its HTC touch pro 2 and he has have installed windows 6.1 operating system. I never changed that phone because its great... I have 1 more question about that phone. How can i install offline maps for navigation, and where can i find this ??? I think its legal to ask that I will be very happy for yours help, because i use navigaton very often and i havent got enaught money for navigation device.
P.S. : Iam very very sorry for my bad English, i hope you understant what i mean.
