~51500 using Lollipop, CTT mod v2.1, added thermal pad on the CPU.
~49,000 before using stock Lollipop
You could also be held back by background apps, which you can hibernate using Greenify.
Got this score which surprised me.had 3 times running it, all gave me 70k+
I'm on stock 20b.no kernel changes.
Just some frozen apps through titanium
Yeah..antutu got update. The scores are different from what they were before.

I did a second run, same conditions (except it was at night 4.00) and I get 77324...
Anyone have a recent test run?
Thinking about getting a G4 parts to fix mine and use again as my main phone, but my G5 Antutu benchmarked at 152,995, so I'm really skeptical about repairing it now.
Is the G4 really that badly outdated now?

What do you guys think, will LG even update this phone anymore? to any version, or even another OTA value pack that will bring the cool updated features of the LG G2. The reason I'm asking is because I'm fine with stock right now, but I would love to have the speed boost of a newer version of android, that's the only thing keeping me from rooting and "Roming"? again if they still plan on updating this awesome phone than I have no reason to root and rom. What do you guys think?

If I'm honest, I'd say we MIGHT, slim chance MIGHT, see an update to 4.2. Or maybe just a Value Pack update to bring over some features of the G2.
The advertising for our device was botched, and LG even admitted to it. So, the popularity of this device, isn't as high as it should. I wouldn't expect another update, but then again, LG has surprised me before.

I don't see Lg updating the gpro specially with the Lg g X soon to be out for sell, which is exactly the same phone as the gpro spec wise. I hope Lg proves me wrong but for now Im planning on rooting my gpro rather soon. It's a shame the phone was only an at&t exclusive here in the states or else it would have been much more popular and had more support from at&t.
Is there good support for CM out there? Because of the missing sources I assume, because LG isn't releasing them, I guess.

Yeah download DOT cyanogenmod DOT org/?device=e980&type= there is a stable release for CM 10.2 right now which is 4.3.1. and nightlies for CM 11 which is 4.4.2 or Kit Kat.
And can I flash them if they are not for my device anyway? Because the LG Optimus G Pro isn't supported yet is it?

I don't have enough post under my belt to give out links just yet but try this
download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=e980&type=
just highlight it and than right click it than go to link
Another option, if you don't want to flash a custom rom: stock rom + root + xposed framework ☺

What can I do with this xposed-framework?
Gesendet von meinem LG-E986 mit Tapatalk
There is a leaked version on 4.2.2 China version floating around the forums, but it is way too buggy to try on other variants. We may see an official 4.2.2 update in the near future, but due to US carriers like AT&T who do like like pushing updates to phones that are not their flagship device, we may nit see that update. But, we can only hope and wait.

You can get certain features that are available in custom ROMs such as Nav bars, Advanced power menus, tweaks to the status bar, tweaks to lockscreen, you name it. Be careful though some of these won't be compatible so I suggest using the gravity box module. It has everything you may need

Q1- Are ARMv8 / 64-bit CPUs backward compatible with KitKat?
Q2- Is there a deodexed debloated ROM I can flashed on G4 (ARM / 64)?
Some critical apps on my HTC M8 don't run well, if at all, on the G4.
G4's display and camera are far superior to M8's. The M8 running Viper, is otherwise close to perfection.
None the less, G4 now redefines convergance of a computer (with Slimport & HD desk monitor), a fine compact camera and a phone all rolled in one, ..in your pocket. It's only held back by Lollipop.
A recognised member told me "there are countless ASOP ROMs for the G4". Wouldn't elaborate.
Where can I get one please?
Your advice will be much appreciated.

I'm debating on what phone to go with, AT&T LG G4 or Moto X pure. I would like to have root and a custom rom along with keeping my mini sd card.
What are the pros and cons with the G4?
Which one would you choose and why?
For starters, the AT&T G4 has no unlockable bootloader.

I know. If you count on that, go ahead. The Moto X Pure/Style has an official bootloader unlock method.
@ms.journie If you don't care about bootloaders, root and custom ROMs, never underestimate the benefits of a removable battery
why not buy the international LG G4. its like $400-450 on ebay/amazon and can be unlocked where as the att varient is locked and will probably cost you like $500-600 thru att

I definitely want root, custom rom, anything I am able to customize to my liking.
Looks like I'm shooting for the moto x!

There is no guarantee that the AT&T G4 will get an unlocked bootloader, and if it does there may be very little dev support. Best bet is the Moto X or even better, the Nexus 6P.
Another good reason to choose the Moto X Pure Edition:

There's a couple of things that I liked with the Nexas 6P but overall I like the Moto X. Stinks that I have to wait until the 27th for the phone.
Samsung confirmed that all flagships released after 2014 are going to recieve marshmallow..what does it mean?Marshmallow to note 3 neo and no to original note 3??
it means that n3n is not a flagship...
And You think you have brain..it cries for update since u were sucked to this world
Our N3N's are not flagship Phones even if they are nearly as fast as the S5... I just got same antutu score as the S5 with debloated stock
But actually we should be happy about that we got 2 big Android updates... (JB -> KK -> LL)
The Galaxy S3 for example came with 4.0.4 ICS and was only updated to 4.3 JB so it got only one big update (ICS -> JB)
However there is a KitKat port by arter97....
But also the Note 2 got only one big update (JB -> KK) !
before samsung said that they will upadte all FS-Phones to MM it wasnt even clear if the s5 will get MM...
And the Note 3 will also not get MM and it will even stay on 5.0 (will not become updated to 5.1.1)... we got even 5.1.1 instead of 5.0 as Note 3 got.
Lets all hope though..it would be great to brag those with n3 n2 and others if we get mm
does it mean s5 neo a flagship? or note edge not a flagship?they were not released as flagship but as some kindof twin to flagship..therefore we too have but the slightest chance....Being positive...It might mean something like we might get mm in 2017..that outrageous..
http://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-flagships/
please read this..N3N is a flagship..know it better

Is there any out there or is the performance pretty much the same? I want to use CM13 or something like it that has the same 3D performance or better then the stock rom. If not I'll wait until MM arrives.

So vulcan uses internal gpu power.. No android encoding-decoding(3rd party). So i think pretty well.
When I will see an aosp, I will test it
That's awesome news, I'll have to keep my eye out for it.
