Hello guys,
I have a problem with ZOE app in my HTC One M8 running ViperOne (newest version).
The problem with ZOE is that I can't get it to make any clips. Everytime I try to open (make new clip) with Zoe, I get a message that it was unable to make ZOE because there is a problem with phone memory. In addition, I get a notification that downloading was cancelled because app was unable to...(and I can't read the rest of the notification).
Of course I have a couple of gb free both in my phone memory as in my memory card.
When I run "zoe camera" in camera app,it works(I can make a clip), but after that I can't edit it or make anything with ZOE with it.
I can't even pick any photos to make a new clip,because I get notifications mentioned above.
Any suggestions?
I tried to clear cache or turn off and then turn on the app in apps settings but it doesn't help...
I googled the matter but found no answers.
Hi, I had the same problem with ZOE on my M8 with Android Revolution M8 45.
Well, it doesn't work on Revolution 45 too, I just changed my ROM and still nothing.
Ok, found a solution- I reinstalled ViperOne and in AROMA i checked "uninstall ZOE", then I installed it through Play Store and now it looks everything is ok

I am currently using ARHD 6.1.2 but also had this problem with 6.1.1
When I install google+ (the new leaked version)
(I haven't tried the old/current version)
Its causes some Force closes,
mainly with my people process (contacts)
So i can not access my contact, not even when im composing an sms or via any other way!
Has anyone else experienced this problem and has anyone got a solution?

Yes, there's been quite a bit of discussion about this in the main thread. I haven't tried it myself, but the new G+ app is causing FC for a lot of (all?) users. It may well be a problem with the underlying HTC base software. Only "solution" I've seen is to uninstall it, sorry.
I'd suggest we all wait for Google to release v2.0 officially, that way we would avoid a lot of issues
I get Force Close on superuser, anywhere from 2-10 times a day...whether the phone is judt on main screen with no apps open, but use any rooted apps like system app remover, rom manager etc etc....force close all the time.
pull out battery, go into recovery, fix permissions...sorts it for an hour or so, then starts all over again....aRGHHH!!!

Do you have the Market version of Superuser installed? If you do, check to see if it has updated to 3.0.5, and if so uninstall the upgrade. There's more about this in the main ARHD thread.

So, I have this problem: when I try to download/update anything from Google Play, it just stucks at "Downloading..." and never finishes. After couple of hours it says that it has a problem with host. Some people said that I should delete data/cache in Settings>Apps>Google Play ... done, nothing changed. I've already tried to switch networks (wi-fis at home, at work, at friends house..) and tried to download via 3G aswell. I've reflashed the phone from ARHD to Renovate ROM and still nothing has changed.
Anybody knows what's the problem? :crying:

I'm not sure, but I think I have a related issue. I'm on ARHD 8.1 and since I have gotten a weird connection error while installing "set orientation" app, I can't install anything from the browser on my mac, cause apperently "I have no devices". Play works fine on the htc one x, but it doesnt link up to the account, cause my downloads dont show in the browser. Last app installed is the set orientation app even though I installed skype afterwards...

Im facing the same problem, i just flashed Renovate Rom and trying to get into the google play store and nothing is working, tried deleting the cache, using 3G or wifi nothing seems to work.
Anyone can help ?
I had thus problem to d reason I found out I have it is that I never wiped cache and davlic cache when ever I installed a new Rom

I have problem with stock Camera application on HTC One X. Everytime when I start Camera app, app just exit and stay in recent apps. I read a lot of different topics about HTC One X camera problems over this forum but nothing helped.
One thing worked but I made mistake. When I turned on my phone today, after 3 months, there was HTC available updates. Actually three updates. One of them was stock Camera app. I have installed that applications and tried again stock Camera and it worked.
My mistake was that I wanted to delete all trash from phone and do hard reset, after that, stock Camera application don't work again and HTC don't send application update again.
I tried to overheat G-sensor (not working)
I tried different camera apps form Google Play (all working) just stock Camera app don't work.
My phone isn't rooted.
Does anybody know, how to force (or something like that) HTC to send stock Camera application update again?
I tried standard ways, Settings > About > Software update (there is no any update), *#*#checkin#*#*, clear google firmware data... nothing helped.
Solution
After hours of playing with phone -> solution:
1) Go to Apps manager > All > Search for updater > Clear data
2) Go to Settings > About > Software update
If problem still persist, wait few hours/days and try again, update should come.
After updating stock camera application, everything work as usual.
No so lucky for mine .both camera,s are dead .

I'm in the UK and have imported a HTC Desire 820u from China. The company I purchased it from (EtoTalk), state they install English ROMS and remove all bloatware which they appear to have done.
What I cannot understand, is the phone has 16GB of storage but half the space (over 7GB) has been taken. There are a few apps and bits of music on, but if you go to storage it says 'Other' which has taken over 7GB.
I wouldn't have thought the OS would be taking up so much space? Is there anything I can do to get the space back?

I have the same 820 u and it takes much space. Just put in the sd card and enjoy it. Can you somehow help me to make Google play store? Mine has no Google Play and any attempt blocks to install. I have unlocked my phone but cannot even root it. No recovery supported
There is a wierd problem ... I have htc desire 820 .... I installed flash alert 2 app to get camera flash notification for incoming calls ...bt it didnt work for calls .it only worked for sms ..i installed several other apps to get camerflash notifiaction for calls bt none worked ...what is the prob ..plz help me
I don't know how to install Google Play. I got mine from etoTalk.com who sent it with English ROM and Play Store installed. It has most bloatware removed but I want to root it to remove all chinese apps.
I flashed the Wolla v2.5 MRA58K.H6 with TWRP and had some questions/issues. The camera kept on force closing, even though on other apps it worked just fine. I occasionally have a "android system has stopped working" warning as well. Also, I was expecting the full wipe to wipe all the internal storage as well, but I don't believe it did?
Wanting to install the newest ROM but wondering if there is a way to easily back up all apps and such - it took a long time to get it up and running at this level and don't want to go through it again. Thoughts?
Try using Titanium Backup to back up your apps and data. Personally, I use a combination of SMS Super Backup for my SMS/Call logs and Titanium for my apps.
I'm using Wolla v3.5 GPE right now and everything is great except for some strange reboot/bootloop every time I open up Snapchat. Uninstalling the app seemed to have solved the issue, but I still want to be able to use it... It's probably to do with the new camera API.
I'll give that a try. What's the difference between 2.5 & 3.5?
Updated to 3.5 and wiped it all.
Everything is working well except the system will not let me install chrome, why I do not know. I've tried downloading from the app store, both normal and beta, and every time it force closes. I've tried having it install from on my computer through google play and it force closes. I've downloaded the apk and allowed install from unfamiliar sources and it will get to the install page, and say app not installed. What gives?
Also, it seems all of my internal folders have been wiped clean - this means when I open the M8's internal storage on my computer, there are no folders; no download, no dcim, nothing. Any advice on what's happening here?
Solved both issues using [this solution](http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2684384). Internal memory was set to read only.
