So, my Samsung 10.1 GT-N8020 is ****ed, got it back from a mate that decided to flash a custom ROM to it and killed it. Anyhow, I downloaded ODIN v3.07 and the proper firmware off of sammobile (proper version and carrier) however ODIN gets stuck at boot.img and doesn't seem to do anything. Any tips would help as I really don't want to have to pay for a new tablet and I literally have no idea what I should be doing to fix it.

Hi can anyone help please
I have used odin to flash the firmware on my note 2
N7105XXALIJ_N7105EVRALIC_EVR.zip this is the file I have used
odin says it has passed yet the phone will not boot up and gets stuck on the samsung logo
Which model do you have? If you have a sprint phone stop whatever you are doing. That file is for the international model. Look up a oncelick for mc2

Always
Remember Always Flash Roms specifically designed for you model of phone and Carrier where necessary.
I tried to downgrade after the update and failed. My phone was totally bricked, I tried flashing TWRP, Philz touch, and CWN and could not get into recovery or anything. I came home and opened sboot.bin with a hex editor and found that SEAndroid in 4.3 is what allows everything to boot and it is write protected, so what i did was copied the sboot.bin into a MC2 Flashable tar and flashed it with Odin, and it worked. I then flashed the update, flashed Phils touch recovery and rooted my fone, now I am on a completely rooted 4.3
Here is a link to the file I used to Unbrick/Downgrade: http://myfavoritecontractors.com/4.3_Unbrick.tar
Several other people have verified they were having the same problem and flashed this and it worked, they also told me to start this thread so others could fix their fone
im on 4.3 stock i tried rooting with auto root using Odin but it didnt want to root the phone, it worked on 4.1.2 stock but not on this 4.3.. which sucks because i want to go on a custom ROM right now like paranoid android but cant cause i dont know how to root my phone since its 4.3 stock :crying: lol smh
Download twrp tar file and flash it in Odin then flash a stock ROM. That's what I did .

You are a god, worked flawlessly! I am going to wait for 4.3 via OTA this time instead of flashing the update though (didn't like the Easy Mode big icons etc)
Thank you for this, this is the only rom I can use to get away from the dreaded Kies error screen. However, I'm now stuck on the Samsung glowing boot screen. Any suggestions on how to fix?
Thank you
I have a MK4 tar that is flash able in Odin for those still looking to unbrick (and those who tried getting to my suspended Dropbox. ..) http://www.mediafire.com/download/7viivd985s7cp8l/L900VPUBMK4_L900SPTBMK4_HOME.tar.zip
After flashing a ROM or using Odin to flash firmware I highly suggest a data/cache wipe in recovery. 99.9% of the time it'll fix a bootloop (unless you've gone and corrupted partitions you had no business touching).

Thank you!
@ecs87
This tar file unbricked my Galaxy Note II SPH-L900, not rooted anymore after flashing via Odin 3.07, but that is okay for now since my phone is working! Thank you very much!!!!:good:

Could you PLEASE provide a little guide (like steps to follow) to fix this problem? I'm now downloading the package but i'm not really sure about what to do with those files... Thanks again
This is for a soft bricked note2, from trying to downgrade from mk4, meaning you can't get into recovery mode or anything past the samdung logo...just flash this with Odin and it'll reboot to stock, then I recommend flashing billards back to stock mc2

bricked and trying this method {not working}
so i downloaded the file and used odin to flash. it got to cache.img and stopped.
any help?
You should be able to flash a custom recovery, flash twrp, then go into twrp recovery and flash (mc2 back to stock unrooted with counter reset) you should be able to find that pretty easy and download it
Other than that, if you get the failed update screen, you can use kies

This did work where other files have failed - thank you! With that said, I cannot connect to cellular service nor will the gps lock. I wiped/factory reset a couple times to no avail...any suggestions?

Hey guys I bought a virgin mobile 1337m that I rooted with the Kingo App and then Odin flashed the OG Firmware so that I could unlock the carrier but after a sucessful flash of the 1337mvluamdj firmware it gives me that same seandroid crap and now it just hangs at the samsung loading screen. What the hell do I do to get this thing unlocked. the unlockteam website couldnt do it either.

I've had the same message ever since my first new kernel flash. My phone loads great and I've flashed several roms so far. I think your problem is elsewhere. I have experienced hangs at the Samsung logo on a couple rom installs but rebooting into recovery and doing a factory reset, clearing the cache and dalvik will fix that issue.
I bought a note2 on swappa and I didn't get any service when I activated because my profile was out of date( I think). It came with cm11 so I had to go to stock to update the profile. I tried using Odin to flash Stock but when the phone boots after the Sprint animation it goes to Samsung and just hangs. I've tried reflashing and redownloading to no avail.
In download mode my phone says
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom //Could this be the problem? What does the Custom here mean?
Knox warranty void: 0
AP SWREV: A2
With the knox on my phone now I'm a little nervous to go any further without knowing exactly what I should do. I have been researching this problem for the last 3 days now and I feel stuck. Where should I go from here?

Use TWRP recovery and flash billards return to stock MC2. This will revert your bootloader to a non-Knox state.

Need help getting a copy of the PIT file for T Mobile SGH-M919 unit. I tried to root it and it did something to the phone and it is booting up with att as my service provider i want ti back as t-mobile i accidentally try doing this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50667360&postcount=1 and it changed it to att it now boots up as att please help me get it back to t-mobile or atleast how to delete att off this s4
Making múltiple posts is going to get you into hot water with the mods, I'm surprised you have 3 posts up and no warning yet. Google is your friend, apparently your not going to get what your looking for here.
But you need to read, read, and read again before you start flashing stuff on your phone.
If you have t mobile you have to make sure your in the correct model/carrier thread.
--------- EDIT --------
Try this in reverse. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2578129

The tar files of the T-Mobile firmwares have the correct pit file. But no one has just the pit file (except possibly a Samsung repair center).
You're gonna have to Odin flash the whole tar file.

ok so my phone was normally tmobile not rooted or anything so trying to root it and unlock it i went here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50667360&postcount=1 and without noticing the att name on it i decided to flash it using odin using the pit and tar file which than turned it into att now everything from the start logo to the apps say att and even the phone model changed model number now says samsung sgh-l337 android version 4.3 baseband version m919uvufnb4 kernel:3.4.0-19216828 [email protected] #1 sat nov 16 14:33:13 kst 2013 build number jss15j.1337ucuemk2 enforcing sepf_samsung-sgh-l337_4.3_0010 secure boot status type samsung. (wifi dosent work)
if i try flashing it using odin back to tmobile stock firmware ( SGH-M919-TMB-M919UVUAMDL-1366964131 ) i get this message: odin mode
product name sgh-m919
current binary custom
system status custom

knox warranty void 0x1
csb-config-lsb 0x30
write protection enable
emmc burst mode enable
start (224,1440)
sv rev. check fail : fused: 5, binary : 1
all i want to do is put it back to t-mobile and have everything work normally
What is the message from Odin? And MDL will never work, try flashing the 4.4.2 NB4 firmware..
