Hi everyone, I've been testing my LG D850 with CPUTemp and Stability Test v2.7 and I got temps as high as 91°C. Is anyone else getting that kind temperatures during stability, is it normal? I am planning to do the thermal mod anyways, but I want to know if my phone is out of the standard.
Highest ive ever seen on mine is 78 c

I just flashed. Thermal mod to throttle at 70 c

No they are flashable zips they completly Change when the phone throttles the cpu temps like 10 xegress hotter than stock but low enough to keep from overheating

having had a D1(RIP) that i overclocked the pure hell out of. I must ask, Why is the fastest overclock im seeing for the galaxy nexus only .15ghz or 150mhz more then stock max?
With my old D1 we saw clock speeds over 2x stock max. I thought processors were getting better...(maybe thats a broad statement to make but i want to go faster!)
Go to the dev section and find the thread regarding undervolting and overclocking patches.. it's a good read and will explain everything for you. A lot of people experience lag over 1.4Ghz.

dev forums. find a kernel you'd like and look for OC as one of its features.

that makes me sad
would have been interesting to over clock the life out of this phone down the road but it doesnt look like itll happen.
I've got the n7105 and from the start have noted battery life significantly worse than reported by users here.
I usually have lte disabled signal strength is typically good.
This is without heavy usage and lte disabled.
Any ideas or ways to find the culprit.?

Do you close every app after use? Make sure to kill it every time you close.
I see MAPS is running. Make sure to turn GPS off when not needed.
Screen will always take up the most depending on brightness.
Delete any apps you don't use or think that are messing with it also.

Also, after 4 hours at %78 is pretty darn good. regardless of use.

Thank you gonna try this.
And you will get slow device. Not this way. On standard battrry and 200/800 performance/deadline I have 2x better score. Reflash OS.

Not help for me tried reflash about 3times and tried every jb except me7.
I have this on GB also can't get even 24h battery life.
Try to calibrating your battery...

35 minutes screen on and 75% battery isnt too bad by the way

try reduce brightness if u dont need ie. you are in house

My flash history is GB(LL2) -> MB2 (with pit file= repart.) -> mc8 BTU -> sakuradroid cm10 (be_02b) -> xxmf1 and stuck at bootanimation which repeat again and again then -> re-flash mc8 BTU and then -> xxmf1.
Screen brightness is about 40% so I can't reduce it.
OP look to my battery thread. (from begining!)
1stly Forget calibration- Enough said
2ndly The problems with your battery drains are: Screen is too high on 51% try lowering your brightness a little. And the second problem is 3G in combination with facebook and browser.

I have brightnes allways 100% with 3g ,fb, 2x email , and torrent and I have better score 2x. He have propably problems with OS or battery but Android sometimes have battery life like that and this is normal.
From 100% can go down to 90% very fast and then slower...look on overal battery score and try another rom

After you take the OTA update, do a factory reset, it helped my battery.

Having the same issues, I think it's a few misbehaving apps. Haven't narrowed it down yet but I have noticed bluetooth is showing up high on the list of battery users.
Hi guys , just wanted to know whether using substratum (overlays or any mod) will affect/drain battery life / performance ?
Last phone i rooted and tinkered around with was a galaxy s2 & galaxy s4 (many years ago ) , stayed stocked with my galaxy s5 and LG G5 and finally changing over to the Oneplus5T so i'm quite new to this Substratum thingy .

Hi no problem with battery life with substratum i'm using flux substratum theme on Android Oreo beta 3 and i can easily reach 7hrs of sot with intensive usage like 3d games with lte bluetooth on during all the day

So no panic you can use serenely substratum
No real affect on battery life.
