Which icons are you talking about? Launcher, notifications, status bar? There are a few different ones. Is there a specific style you are looking for? What rom are you on and is it rooted?

Looking for Semitransparent News Widget

Hi, does anyone have a semitransparent News & Weather genie widget, that will work on CM10 ?
I don't like the stock full black background, but also not looking for 100% clear transparent, something more in the middle like 50% transparent background ?
Thanks

Battery percentage

EDIT - Found it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44121985
Good day,
Flashed to CleanRom and it's going great. One thing I would like to have is a battery percentage on the top notification bar (or a circle, similar to Paranoid Android). My main gripe with ordinary apps is that they add the percentage, but then the stock battery is still there. My OCD kinda hates that.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
You can download a battery meter from the Play store for this. Some people then use custom ROMs to just disable the stock battery on the right side.
I personally just use a custom rom. CM10.2 Kanged rom has the circle battery, battery bar, percentage, and others. Also supports CM Themes which can spice things up quite a bit.

is there a battery widget app that works best with this? most of them are outdated and only work if you actually go into the app...not from the status bar
Power Toggles on play store has a small widget in status bar, and the pull down has selectable quick toggles. I love the app, personally.

Good app.

Power Control Widget for Rooted Nexus 4??

I just rooted my Nexus 4 and I am looking for a power control widget to place at the top of my pull down notification menu so that I can access various toggles quickly and easily. I have found a few apps on the Play Store such as "Power Toggles" and "Notification Toggles". The problem with these apps (and I know I'm being very picky) is their notification icon always shows on the notification panel. You can make it transparent but then there is just an empty space there.
Does anyone know of a similar app that would work on a rooted device and give me the toggles without the notification icon always being present? Any support would be greatly appreciated, as I am new to the world or rooting. Thanks!
Flash a ROM with the feature. And this really goes in Q&A not Themes & Apps

With power controls theres a setting near the one that makes it transparant. Its called something like pin or something like that.
Its just above or below te transparant setting.
Good luck and cheers

I do see the option to mane the notification position "Not pinned & no icon" but the problem with that is it moved the power widget down from the top. I want to keep it most important and keep it at the top of my notification list. I was hoping there may be a way to achieve this with a rooted phone without having to download a custom ROM.
It's so much easier with a custom rom. Also you can get a lot of other neat stuff.

You can use the xposed framework with gravity box module. With this you can add other tiles to quick settings. Sorry for my bad english.

Modifying setting.apk is possible. I believe that is what the author wants. It would be perfect for a change 50% transparency.

thx for the reply, i check the icon pack already but sadly is not the one i want.
finally found it, is called whicons on playstore
Curious, is there any way to apply 3rd party icon packs in the ZenUI launcher? Or do icon packs like the whicons pack absolutely require a new launcher?
You can always use and apply different icon packs in zenui

I use krom icon pack which is free on the play store. Some do only work in certain launchers or theming engines but there are lots of then you can use that will work on the Zen launcher even if it's not listed as compatible.

I think what I did was swipe up from bottom of the phone to get to manage home, launcher theme, selected krom.icon.pack then manually changed my background to a picture of my choice and went through the settings and manually set my transparencies and what not.
