Nice idea! ive just uploaded a 6.5 stock like rom here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3957547#post3957547 . feel free to add it if you like. if you keep this up to date maybe it should be stickied here

I also think it's cool, but, man that's a bunch of roms to keep up with!
I'm not worried that mine isn't there.

Thanks and great idea. I first read your post in the general area and read the blog, but didn't have time to reply.
FWIW, and just so you know, it's against Google's Terms to in any way explicitly entice, tell, or ask someone to click on your google ads.
Considering you are hoping on some form of monetization from this blog, blogger is a google product, and if google catches you (you even say it right on the page...) they will take away your account and any money it has earned.
Just thought I'd let you know so you didn't get in trouble.

cheers but these roms arent about making money. thats what our jobs are for. theyre about doing somthing you enjoy and sharing what you do with the community here. if people want to donate theyre welcome to but they dont have to pay to use the things on this site. yes it may help the popularity of my roms but it also helps with the idea of the blog it being there. other than that there is no planned gain from me saying that

The Perfect APP !!!

Hello guys, I have idea about the Perfect APP and who is able to make such thing will become a Millionaire with sure.
1st wana say im not a programer and i just have the right idea.. i cannot do it by myself but i decide to write it here and maybe some of you can be interested.
Its hard really but its inovation and worth the time because will change almost everything.
Now every single day we clearly can see that more and more the peoples start using they Pocket PC to surf in the net than the regular methood so.. all costumers LOVE the direct application.. like YouTube PLayer.. like many other because they dont need to open a browser and to type there the url.. and to wait to load.. they prefer ready APPs because is alot more easyer, Faster and Smooth with one single click you are there where you wana be.
My idea is:
Single Program.. that will be conected to a web address, in the web address can have actual INFO of alost everything.. from Wheater, Finances, Cinema, News, Sport, Flight tickets and many more.. you name it..depends how hard you wana do it..
So imagine one single APP in your device.. when you run it.. directly to appear like web page all the INFOs and you just choice what you wana chek today.. also will recognize the Country AREA and will show you exactly the INFO you need.
For example if you are from UK... when the app load you will be able to see the curency GBP to all other.. the corect wheater for your city, what movies will be played in the Cinema, Events, News and all this for UK... so with app like this you will be always in touch you do not need any more.. to read newspapers, or surf in internet to read some news etc.
Application like this will be inovation and will change everything in the MOBILE bussines.

I'm all for it! Hopefully Google will put it on android at least, but it would be amazing to have it on wm too, the mobile web version at the moment isn't very good.

Now i understand why you been baned befor. i was thinking to not answering anymore but its seems that you do not UNDERSTAND anything, and again writing Sh..ts about ME without to know ME and without to atack you.
1st Im not a Begger and i do not begg anyone to do a script or any program for ME, i wrote a IDEA because i cannot do it by myself if i was able to do it i will do without to write here.
2nd I know there already have similar apps But this app can be even better, simple and with alot more INFORMATION.

Great game and free, hope it some a update as I am playing it to death. Its hard thou, trying to get to lvl 15 on hard to unlock imposable mode feels imposable but I will do it

Just tried out the game and I have to say other than a small lag a few times, it is a lot of fun.

Yes, impossible wasn't actually supposed to be beatable but looking at the highscores four people apparently proved me wrong Let me know when you beat bandre - his score is incredible!
I am working on a whole new level pack but this takes time ... I'll try to add a few levels for you in the meantime ;-)

I think the game is great, but it is however unplayable for me. I always play these games while listening to an audiobook. In occupied I can't (the version I tries, atleast) mute the sound, and therefor I can't play it...

If you want to play the audiobook on the phone just start it before you start the game.
If the book is playing somewhere else then go to options (in the game) and select Music "Off". You can get rid of the sound effects as well by moving the fx slider to the left.
Hope this helps.

But since Tito, who is the moderator, can't take care of this subforum at the moment, I've tried to put some order in here. It's becoming increasingly confused. It appear some mod put general threads about apps/games here, while instead it should only be for those publishing free apps (see sticky).
I'd say I won't be trying this anymore, it's far too messy

Works really good, like the previous (1.5) version of the app. I like the new design, the design of the buttons is a thing of taste, personally I think they are okay
Superuser says that android.permission.ACCESS_SUPERUSER wasn't declared in manifest.
Maybe you could do this so, people can see then that this permission is required when they install it

Does anyone know how to remove the preset Verizon bookmarks from the Samsung browser

There are 3 bookmarks baked into the Samsung browser that can not be removed. I can live with the one for Google, but the one for Mobile Web and Accessories are annoying the hell out of me, especially the mobile web one as it doesn't even take you to a functioning web site.
Used to be that disabling the partner bookmarks entry in the apps section took care of them, but that is no longer the case. To make it even worse, you can't even reorder them, so they are always at the top of your bookmarks.
Anyone come across a way to get rid of them?

Is it?? The native browser sucks, for one thing. Chrome works much better and since it's Google, is integrated across all platforms and all your Google accounts

He actually wasn't telling you which browser you HAD to use, he simply stated his opinion which he's allowed to do! If no one gave their opinions about apps we would never know which apps are better than another.. Calling someone names like you did (kid) and telling them to keep their mouth shut is lowering yourself and making you look bad! But just so you know @HipKat is one of the smarter people on here.. There's a reason his names a different color.. Lighten up some .
Also, if you want the bookmarks gone first try long pressing on them to see if they'll pop up a delete function and if it doesn't then there's only 2 options left and 1 of those you can't do because there's no root access on bootloader version 5 and the second thing you could do is get an app called package disabler pro it costs money but it's worth it to get all the bloatware out of the way or you can look into BK disabler too..
Edit: You can also download the older version of the Samsung internet app in .apk format and uninstall the current version and then install the older version.

Kid?? I'm 55 yrs old, for one thing, and I didn't get that Recognized Contributor for the hell of it. I worked on more Dev teams before the Bootloader lockdowns started and wrote my fair share of user guides on this and other forums years before you ever heard of XDA
