My tab s2 arrived yesterday and I am now seeking a protective back cover. I do not want a flip cover or a tpu (silicone) case. Has anybody got a good back cover he can recommend?

Same here. Maybe with a kickstand. But the case should be really slim. Only to protect before scratches

I have to agree, it's rather pricey. Especially since its other tough cases are 30

Regardless, I really REALLY like CM and their cases. I'll probably spring for one. I don't plan on ditching my SG Note for a while.
Man all these really should have a kickstand..I really miss my EVO kickstand..
I love using this phone in landscape but maybe thats just me.

If you want something that is thin and light, yet still offers some protection from drops and scratches, I'd recommend the Cruzerlite TPU cases. You can find many of them available via Amazon Prime at a reasonable price. For excellent protection, you can't go wrong with an Otterbox case. The downsides are cost and bulk.

I received one of these in red and love it. It has 2 different removable attachments. One has a coiled stretchy plastic so you can plug one end into the headphone jack to leave it near the tablet or phone. The other one is the same headphone attachment with a shorter cord, no stretch.
Works great with or without screen protector.

As I have heard from many of the Diztronic Ultra (RED) users that after months of use, the red color fades. How true is this? As I liked the color but now not I'm sure.
Only at the edges and this is because of jeans pockets.

There are no glass protectors for the back atm.
But you can use a skin made by dbrand or slickwraps.
