Hello. I have a problem: The vibration is broken. The cellphone accidentally had 4 hours long vibrates. Now the vibration sounds different if I keep handy in various positions. What can be broken? Can this be repaired easily and where is the vibration motor? Pascal
Is there anyway to set vibration intensity. When I am on vibration mode the intensity is very low when I receive a phone call or a notification.
I checked in settings but didn't find anything.
Sad to say, but low vibration is Xiaomi's traditional issue over all their phones.
The only way I can think is try an 3rd party app to change vibration pattern or root your phone.
Yup, very sad, vibration is very soft, doesn't appear to be a intensity option like the Samsungs,
I used Good Vibrations app to make a custom vibration but doesn't help with intensity.
I feel the vibration is too weak (can't really feel it when in my pocket). Is there no vibration intensity option for this phone like other androids??
I was gonna come here and ask the same. Sadly no vibration option to be found.
Hi, I enabled the haptic feedback but now whenever I press the on-screen navigation buttons I also hear a sound. Is there a way to disable the sound so that I get the tactile feedback but not the sound while using the phone with haptic feedback?

In the same section of settings (Sound and vibrations): advanced settings - turn of touch sound

I turned off everything under Additional Settings but it didn't help. Still have sound when I use on-screen navigation buttons or type on the keyboard while Haptic Feedback is on. Couldn't find a way to turn off the sounds and use tactile feedback only.

If u turned off touch sound it should not make any sound on touch. Maybe ur talking about the sound that axis haptic makes (it is kinda metalic one)?

Its the click sound that happens when you type on the keyboard while haptic feedback is enabled. Maybe it's by design. I was trying to turn off the click sound and keep only the vibration as tactile feedback when I type on the keyboard.
I have the same issue; have no way to disable the touch sounds along with the haptic feedback. Even in DND mode sounds are present.
settings>Sound & touch>Additional settings
haptic motor does make some noise - it's a hardware thing but there are some settings what may help you
you welcome

Not as helpfuo as you think you are.
It is not a sound of the haptic motor, it is clearly a sound effect that follows haptic feedback
U can disable haptick feedback and turn on touch sound in additional settings to check if it's the same sound u hear when haptic feedback is enabled. If is the same, it's an software problem that can be solved in a future update....if is not, it's a haptic feedback "feauture" and u can do nothing about (most probably).

Good idea!
When I try that, tapping sound is a different one.
This Haptic "sound" I'm experiencing turns on/off with haptic feedback, and appears to have no connection to tapping sound option. I guess it could be the haptic motor, but the sound effect is quite "non-mechanical".
If the sound you're talking about sounds like a "deng" when swiping back, then it's the vibration motor voice coils activating and vibrating the mass.
hi guys
is it possible to turn off the fingerprint haptic feedback without turning off the whole vibration (i.e when ringing or in notifications) ?
