[ROM] UltimateMIUI V1 (19.3.2012)

Here is my first presentation for the Galaxy Nexus users. Nothing really great but you should give it a go. This is something for the MIUI lovers.
I've added tons of tweaks for performance and battery life.

Thanks for this release, but why adding these points ?
miui already have a home app... it will be duplicate with trebuchet and nova launcher...
ok it is cool to give an alternative.. but for nova laucher, it is in the market so it is kind of useless until you set it as the default and UNIQUE launcher
i also don't understand the superuser added....
that king of app is already present by default, or am i missing something ?

I agree with your question regarding addition of nova launcher. Will remove it in the next update.
But I find superuser better than the miui root app.

this way, and setup option be any original android ROM, nexus, and other device, same. I prefer how my phone number sent when I make call, and my partner see: I call him.
Other miui, ( or I do not find) no have this option/settings for caller ID setup

Would try it out, but I'm at work. So any user feedback already about smoothness and lag on this MIUI version, compared to MIUI.us and Vicious versions? The features look rather interesting compared to other MIUI builds for the GN. It looks definitly promising, so thanks @OP

I made this little app mainly for myself but I'm happy to share it with the xda community.
What is it?
Xscaler is a display resolution changer for the 1st gen Nexus7. It scales down the display resolution from the native 800x1280px to 640x1024px making games like N.O.V.A. 3 or Asphalt 8 run noticeably smoother.
NOTE: this app requires root, busybox and Android 4.2 or newer (older versions are not supported).
The UI is pretty basic but does the job just fine.

CM10.2 seems to work.

Well, I've been on rasbeanjelly since your v1.0. Seems to work fine up to v1.2.

With v1.3 System UI no longer gets messed after a scale/reset... this should work for everyone... please report

I can confirm this works PERFECTLY on the Nexus 7 2013 runnng CM10.2
I have a little request? Can you add can option to set your own resolution? I would like to see an option for 1280x720. The nexus 5 is going to have some insane PPI and I was wondering if this resolution will be supported to reduce battery drain. Most will be hardpressed to find a PPI higher than 300 worth it..

Custom resolution option is on my to-do list... I just need to find the time to add it...

Ok, added the custom display resolutions option... it's "hidden" for now because it still needs some fine-tuning so I consider it an experimental feature.
To set your custom res long-tap on "Scale Resolution" and then input your desired display resolution.

The command is "wm"

Okay my problem is I use to low of aresolution and now won't boot up. . This problem could be fixed with a factory reset but I need my data. .. so what I'm going to do is uninstall your app through cwm... the problem is ib have no Indio what's the name of your app in the data folder. .. and no access to adb to find out. .. so cold you tell me the com.----.apk name of your app

The app does not alter any system setting... it doesn't even load on boot.
...anyway the package name is it.domg.xscaler

Sorry this project is discontinued since long time... There should be some alternatives on playstore now.

[BOOTANIMATION] Android L 60FPS

After lots of hours (I accept donations) I did all the frames lost of the android L bootanimation, so now it goes at 60fps (it used to go at 30fps). The change is huge.
You have to install the zip with a free app like Boot Animations in the Play Store. Don't use Recovery!

There was a little lagging at the begining because I didn't compress the frames so they were too big for fast procesing. I've just compressed them without losing quality and now it's super smooth. If someone wants this new version just ask for it here.

For what type of rom's is this animation? I tried with SlimKat 8.0 (4.4.4) on my mako and is not installing the 60FPS variant.

Remember you have to install it with an app like BootAnimations not in Recovery. It is suposed to work on any rom that is rooted. It works perfect for me in rooted stock rom.

Works exactly as it should and looks great too. Thanks :thumbup:

Awesome! Thanks a lot. It's indeed smooth. Smoother than CM11's default one which actually lags a little bit at the beginning of the animation but is smooth overall.

I never thought that it could be THAT smooth by increasing to 60FPS.
Origial Animation was smooth, but this is just awesome!

I have no doubt we will get nougat. Keep in mind that the GS7 & 7 Edge don't have Nougat released yet. Also it seems maybe the Camera is improved abit with the update. Really a solid phone for $299, loving it.

I am very excited to hear all of these. Mine is coming tomorrow.
I've watched LeEco Le 2 can survive water test for at least a minute (maybe similar protection [IP53] that Pixel phone offers) so that will be a bonus from this awesome phone.

is x720 compatible with this update or should i wait some more?

Widgets crashing on restart
Has anyone else noticed certain widgets crashing/not starting on reboot? I've noticed two particular widgets not starting on reboot:
1) Battery Widget Pro
2) Dark Sky

Netflix WAS added. Sucks that you can't uninstall, just disable, but the bigger point is let US decide what we do and don't want, not you Leeco.

Been running this the last 4 days, best pie stock rom imo. Battery life is well optimized as well. Waiting to find errors or faults and so far I've been unsuccessful.

the difference is that the dual is for the s7 dual sim only the gpu booster do the same
