Hi there,
The top of the screen is not responding, the whole task bar doesn't respond to touch.
I have tried factory reset, different ROMs and MCUs but no luck.
I have a huifei kgl-746 rk3066 model... The rest of the screen is perfect...
Latest rom from Malaysk and 2.53 mcu version.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Julian

I think you have to change the screen.
Is it possible that only the task bar horizontally is not responding...
As the rest of the screen works fine, it seems like the whole screen has shifted
Any ideas where to order or what's the screen model needed?

Hello! I have installed the ReVolt ROM and I can't hide the navigation bar. It works on other roms but not on this one for some reason. Can someone help me? Unfortunately I can't post on that thread. Or can someone tel me why I would want something like that to take up screen space when I have a physical button and two touch sensitive buttons that do the exact same thing? Thank you!

IIRC Revolt was an all in one rom, so because of that, you should have Paranoid Preferences and I think it was Interface>Nav Bar>slide it down to 0%. Sorry if I wasn't very clear!
Hi,
I need some help.
After instaling 2013.01.01_cm-9_UNOFFICIAL-BUZZ ay first moment everithing was O.K.
The first thing what i did was to change the language. After that the main screen i thing resizes and the icons in the bottom of the screen disapered. When i put my finger in the bottom end of the screen can move them top to the screen, but the buton for the menu can't be moved.
Also when somebody calling me i think there have to be red symbol on the left and green simbol on the right - I cant see them.
How to resize screen to see the icons on the main screen?
When i install gapps it update the operating system, the phone restarts, ask for pin, apears an android and sayes "touch android to start" and after thet sayes setup stop working and have to install again 2013.01.01_cm-9_UNOFFICIAL-BUZZ to work normaly.
No body can't help me?
Have you tried a different ROM? Sometime some ROMs aren't resized to fit wildfire's screen.
Cheers

I didnt understand your first issue so i'll skip that.
To receive calls or to reject them, you need to pull the ring towards left or right.
Regarding gapps, you have installed gingerbread gapps, which wont work on ics,you need to download and install ics gapps.

I know that to receive calls or to reject them i have to pull the ring to the left or to the right. But i think that there have to be a green ring on the left and a red on the right - there are no rings there.
To explain clear the first think i am attaching a picture. This line is outside the screen down.
Before changing language was O. K.
I didn't understand you about gapps.
Post Deleted - Wasim's answer seems better...

For the first issue,I guess you have 3 pages on the dock below, try swiping it..it might help.
Second thing, there are no green and red buttons since ics in aosp roms.
And for gapps,

download this.

I know that there are 3 pages. As I explain in the first post the screen resizes and they disappear down, outside the screen. When i push my finger to the end of the screen i can take them and move up in the screen, but the central button for the menu can't be moved.
I suppose you're using trebuchet launcher, tried using apex or nova?

Go to play store and search for nova launcher, install it and see if it solves your problem.
try to flash the CM9 rom and the GApps again.

Flashing the rom will not helps - I have flashed it maybe 7-8 times.

Happy to hear that.
Mistaken.
Hi everyone;
I got a F180S and i am faccing a problem that there is a strip on the screen that doesn't register & respond any input. This is about a 1cm section about 2/4 from the top of the screen, across the whole width of the screen.
My guess this is a hardware issue. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any software problem?

there is a toggle qickmemo.......... or hold down the both volume buttons at a time...choose a pen and draw lines vertically...
and notice ... did you root the phone.............??????
You could try resetting your phone completely or flashing a different rom.
If any of these things do not work, then it's a hardware problem, sadly enough.
I am using HTC Desire 530 with Marshmallow 6.0.1.
Before installing Google Now Launcher the Soft Buttons Light goes off automatically when not in use, only when touched it is on for a couples of seconds, then off again.
After installing Google Now Launcher the Soft Buttons Light stays on as long as the screen is on, even after uninstalling Google Now Launcher, the light is still always on.
I have googled around to find a solution to bring back the automatic off, e.g., by using Soft Buttons Light Version 1.0 by Domenico Messina, but to no avail.
If Google Now Launcher can change from automatic off to always on without rooting, I believe it must be also possible to reverse the situation without rooting. Therefore any hint, trick or tweak to achieve that will be highly appreciated. Or better still a hint on a simple applicaton that can control the soft buttons light as on Galaxy, but applicable to HTC Desire 530.
Thank you.
Any help please…..?
Maybe I did not make myself clear enough.
What I wish is to bring back “Auto-hide navigation bar” that was present before I tried Google Now Launcher.
Now under Settings Personalization Navigation Bar, there is only one option that is “Show button to hide navigation bar”, which will show a fourth button into navigation bar that hides navigation bar manually.
What I really wish to be in that settings is “Hide navigation bar”. May someone help me to realize it?
Thank you so much.
Have you tried to factory reset the phone and see if it comes back that way already. There's gotta be some type of setting in Google launcher that keeps you from hiding nav bar. I don't really use that launcher sorry I can't really be any help.
Also I seen that in first post it's says about auto back lights going on and off what desire are you using ? I thought this forum was for HTC desire 530 if so thought they didn't have actual nag buttons. Anyways after you reset let me know I'll download launcher in mean while to see what's up.
I'm surprised this phone doesn't have more support it's kinda of a nice phone for being cheap. Granted it's not like my Asus zenfone laser 2 or nothing but still is awesome.
Thank you so much josh2020glacier for trying to help.
I am almost sure that Factory Reset will bring back the Navigation Bar autohide feature on the HTC Desire 530, but that is the one that I really want to avoid, because I have done quite a lot so that I don’t want to start from scratch.
If there is no other way, then I will have to be satisfied to live with it as it is now.
Once again thank you so much.

Hi folks!
Yesterday I finally got my summer car back on the road again and for whatever reason the full-display apps are shown in a strange layout.
Especially Spotify and GoogleMaps in navigation mode look like the screen is used as 2 vertical displays next to each other rather than one big horizontal screen.
Normally the "now playing" bar from Spotify stretches over the whole screen, while the 3 main menus (startscreen, search and library)
are displayed beneath it.
GoogleMaps shows your position centered on the right half of the display while the overview and next action are centered on the right side.
Anyone got an Idea how to fix/change this?
TIA!
You could solve it. It happens exactly the same.
So far not - are you also using Hal9k Mod or the stock firmware?

What does hal9k suggest when contacted for paid rom support or questions asked in his thread
