is anyone here from Malaysia that using Desire 820s were able to update their device via OTA to Lollipop? please, let me know.. i have been waiting for the update for a long time. But dunno when they'll roll out the update for this country.
The only way we can get Lollipop is if we find a way to backup the new Desire 820s devices with Lollipop out of the box or by miracle if HTC release the download for build 1.14.709.1 Lollipop
Nope. Not a single update is available. I'm already gave up with this phone. I don't think this phone already got the update elsewhere. @Gibz97 you are already have lollipop out of box, don't you?
I flashed kitkat (Wanted to root it). But my friend has has a lot of pieces with lollipop, We're still looking for a way to back up so that we can share it with everyone

I went to Android revelations download list to search for the latest firmware but I just can't figure out which one it is. I am s-off and my last firmware I flashed was the first Android L one because at&t still didn't have Android L out yet. It's been months since I have worked on my phone..
Can anybody tell me the latest version of firmware and of where to get it?
Much appreciation!

If you are actually using the phone on AT&T's network, I'd try 4.28.502 or 4.16.1540 (AT&T Lollipop and Dev Edition Lollipop, respectively).
Hi this may sound dumb, and sorry if it is.
I have a LG G3 running 4.4 KitKat when lollipop came out I upgraded but I did not get on with it so I went back to 4.4 and waited for marshmallow, now that's almost here.
"My question is" will I need to upgrade to lollipop and then to marshmallow OR will it just update strate to marshmallow ??????
Many Thanks Paul
It's LG D855 in the UK and not tied to a network.

I think it will require you to OTA update to Lollipop first and then update to Marshmellow
But if you want to skip that you can always install Marshmellow manually when the KDZ comes out for your variant in the UK
The answer to this is yes. I was running stock KK 4.4.1 and I got fed up with waiting for my MM update so I used this (http://www.droidviews.com/install-marshmallow-kdz-lg-g3-d855-using-flash-tool/) it took me about ten minutes and was so easy I'd wish I done it weeks ago. But before I did I update to LP first as I didn't know if some code was used from LP in MM, so I done the OTA update to LP first and by doing I found 4 other updates waiting to install. So I would be still waiting in till the end of time for my OTA MM update. So I would suggest this kzd update to anyone even amateurs. My G3 D885 is now running 6.0 and haven't found any problems yet.

Hey guys im probably miasing out i dont really check the g3 news or xda but i do know there's marshamallow update coming out to g3 already.
Im using the D855 version and when i check the updates on the update center it shows me this.?
The latest updates on phone is the 2014 version. Its not showing the marshmallow update is it because my device is rooted?
Or its just that D855 hasnt received the mm update yet?
Thanks
first of all, if you don't know yet, don't OTA when your phone is rooted. You have to unroot i you want to update OTA or via PC Suite.
second, only poland d855 has gotten marshmallow update. You can look around the forums in general section and android development section they are there.
Ok thanks

You will have to update your phone via the PC-Program "LG-PC Suite".
Be aware that there might still be a little wait (up to 3 weeks) until it becomes available in your country. Also, you will lose root after updating. If that's a problem check for a working marshmallow root method prior updating.
Hi,
I purchased this phone last year in June. And rooted the phone while it was on 5.0.2 (before 5.1.1 rolled out). Now it won't let me update the conventional way.
I can't seem to find the proper sources or info to update it to Marshmallow.
Can someone guide or assist me in this problem? Thanks so much!
Tried to use OTA and the official support tool.
Both said there are no available updates.
Just bought the phone yesterday, it is a D858HK, originally on Android 4.4.2.
Wanna do the upgrade to Marshmallow. Any help?
