Heloo to everyone...i have problem and i need your help..so i have htc one x cid: vodap110 swiss-vodafone ch-de. (international htx one x).. so my firmware was 4.19.166.3 original stock rom.
I rooted my phone and installed some android 5.0, 5.1 just testing for fun.Now i want get back to the stock rom but i cant found it enywhere.i search all web but there is no firmware.
can anybody help me??? thanks..

I know.i made mistake..i already searched for nandroid cant find that firmware only 3.xx.166.x, so if i install that can i update it to version 4.19.166.3 swiss?

You should be able to use the 3.x.x backup.

Yes i know that,,when i flash it i can use it but question is can i update it to firmware 4.19..166.3 that was my stock rom when i got the phone...

Hello all. I've been trying the available rooted stock rom for GSM one v and none seem good. I've lost my cwm backup of the original stock. And since my phone was bought in India I cant run ruu due to varied versions. I kindly request someone to post rooted stock rom with stock kernel preferably lastesy ics. Plz help me out

AFAIK it's not available. You have to update only through OTA. If you are stuck with something on JB, restore with nandroid backup which is also available, check in Indian owners thread.

HTC don't release RUU files now, You will need to recover with nandroid backup http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
Sadly no more Ruu's...
Go and download ether a nandriod backup of a stock rom or flash the Stock one from ARHD - odexed if you are on WWE cid.

NO. You have to install them one by one...
me too need the ruu 4.18 ,the ruu file have tp.img file ,now my touch panel not work 5 month and not fix by any kernel , after flash kernel touch panel worked for minutes or two.

i got HTC desire 816w from china but i am originally from Egypt
anyway this was my first time to root my device and install custom rom but unfortunately i deleted my backup stock rom by mistake
and now wanna back to stock but dont know how so pls
if anybody can explain how to S OFF and install stock rom ( i searched much for S OFF for this device but didn't find and also can't get the stock rom from HTCUI.com donno why cant download from baidu ) and finally big thanks to kinghunki all info i know about this device by his Threads

Try this European version single sim version RUU from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52995489. I did the similar mistake and unable to find the RUU for the dual sim english version. If you or anyone happen to find one, please please share that rom or RUU.

Please some one upload or help me to get the stock Rom backup, where we can use normal HTC android updates.
Currently I had used the European version posted in this forum. Where after attached version, I am getting no updates available.
Till this version updates can be installed automatically.
