Watch disconnects after installing new watchface - Moto 360

I have the Moto 360 (1st Gen) connected with Moto X 2014 updated to the lastest version and android wear (1.3.0.2369832).
Whenever i install any android wear app or a watchface, android wear disconnects. I have to restart the watch or factory reset it to get it connected again.
Am i alone in this? Any workarounds?

[Q] Watch not recognizing notifications even after reset

I've had the moto 360 since launch. It is connected to my Rooted HTC m8. I've never had any problems at all with notifications coming but something wear must have happened yesterday. It got stuck on a text message reply using 8sms and now no notifications are going through. I've reset the watch, tried disconnecting, connecting. It connects perfectly, all my apps are there, wear mini launcher, wear messenger, all are there. But if I try getting notifications it doesn't work and and when I test pandora or spotify, it knew a music player app was running, but only the play button would show up and none of the buttons pressed performed any action.
fyi i've never altered the moto 360 in any way.
My next steps:
Delete the android wear app.
Completely unpair and forget the bluetooth connection
Reset moto 360
redownload android wear
test
rinse and repeat

My steps did the trick. That was odd. I think the key was deleting android wear app and the original bluetooth connection

Moto360 apps not syncing from Nexus 6 android wear app to Moto 360

Updated nexus 6 yesterday to 5.1. Now the problem is that when I hit sync apps in android wear app, none of them are going to watch and my only options in watch are the stock watch faces. Did a reset of 360 2xs, re synced android wear app and bluetooth to watch. They are connected as I am getting all the notifications through the 360 but all the watch face apps are not syncing to watch. I forced stopped android wear, cleared cache and data, reset the 360 and resynced to nexus 6 but nothing. For the life of me can not get any of the watch face apps to show in the watch to select from, for example facer and watchmaker do not show in watch.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Problem fixed.

What did you do to fix it?
As above would be nice to know what you did to fix it?

I would like to know, as well. I am having the same problem with my LG G R
I have found that after a reset of the watch and clearing out the data on the android wear app, repairing to the watch and just waiting a little while it does it. It takes a few minutes sometimes to transfer all the data via BT I'm assuming.
YMMV

Android wear app not working properly with Sony Smartwatch 2

So the problem is that the Android wear app will only connect with the watch when the watch is reset. After that it will try to update the watch but will take hours to do so then will time out and disconnect stopping the update. The watch runs fine on the Sony smart connect but the Android app will continuously try to connect with the watch with no success unless I reset the watch as said before.
Is there any solution to this or something I am missing?
you mean Smartwatch 2 app and not Android Wear App, right ?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.smartconnect.smartwatch2
(Wear app is for SW3)
Well no but does this mean that the android wear app wont actually work because it is not compatible with the Sony smartwatch 2 in the first place?
Off course. SW2 doesn't work with Android wear.

Yes, SW2 is not an Android Wear Watch, it is a special Sony OS made.
SW3 is an Android Wear Watch
Oh.. I didn't know that.. well that fixes that haha! Thanks!
I see, I was not aware of that. Thanks for your help!

Moto 360 I-st Gen /software or hardware problem?

When i drag the notification bar down, the battery percentage is shown for a second and when it starts to fade away, at the right side, a strange buggy animation appears and dissappears with the battery percentage.
Example 87%《
Is my watch the problem or the software 5.1.1 is causing this?
Did someone had this issue?

No wear notifications after Nougat update

Hi there,
I'm having a quite strange behaviour after I updated my Nexus 5X to Nougat. Wear notifications are not reaching my Moto 360 2nd gen. However after I restart the phone this issue gets fixed for a while.
Things I've done:
Before updating to Nougat, I factory reset my Nexus 5X
Factory reset my Moto 360
Review notification settings and make sure they are not blocked
Anybody else with this issue?
Thanks! :highfive:
FYI just discovered that it has to do with the Bluetooth. Connecting / disconnecting from the Moto 360 instead of restarting also works.
