LG G4 images stretch from the edge - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
do you notice when taken pictures especially vertically,
the images from top and bottom edge are stretch?
Is there a way to fix it?

Post such an image.

Do you mean out of focus?

Can confirm. Described both scenarios in this thread. I wrote that it'd only occur on the view finder but the stretch and blur are there even on the final shot images.

[Q] Camera App behaviour

Hi,
i'm wondering if any of you experience the same problem in the Stock Camera App.
I'm talking about the grey line that is at the top of the Screen when I'm in the Camera App. It fades to black from left to right. If you look closely you can see the same grey line at the bottom of the "picture area". The grey lines are not visible when i switch to camera mode. They are also not visible on the pictures i take.
Does anyone of you has these lines, too? To check simply cover the lens with your finger so you have a black preview Image.
Unfortunately the Image compression used in the attachement hides these lines. They are only visible in the uncompressed png screenshot and i can't add outside links yet. So i add the link to the screenshot in this format:
without black border:
Code:

with black border around the screenshot:
Code:

Wierd... never noticed that before..... I wonder if its supposed to be like that or not. Looks like its just in the app tho and nothing to do with the sensor.
Is it the same on your GN?

Camera app that doesn't crop viewfinder

Many of you may have realized, but our camera app and the 4.3 camera app crops the long sides of an image in the viewfinder. The image is still the full 4:3 when you view it in the gallery, but the 16:10 ratio of our screens means our beginners don't display the full preview before a shot.
This has really been running my composition and I get some unplanned but still valuable space above and below my pictures. Had I seen it in the viewfinder, I could have accounted for it.
Does anyone know of a camera app that displays the full 4:3 image, even if it means I get black bars on the viewfinder. I'd gladly live with the black bars I'd it means I can see the whole image below I take it.

[Q] Why does the FFC preview look better than the picture?

I feel this has always been a problem on my Sprint Galaxy S3 and I am finally getting around to trying to figure it out. The preview looks very crisp but when I actually take picture it becomes faded and bit blurry.
I know it's not motion from the tapping the button because it remains clear if I take a screenshot of the preview which is more shaky than just pressing the screen.
I took a picture and a screenshot of the picture to show what I am talking about:
Preview / Captured image (click images for larger variants)
In the preview you can clearly see the texture of my shirt and the freckles on my face while on the captured image it is just a solid blur.
I asked this question on the Android Stack Exchange too but no one seems to know there so I thought I'd try here.
I am running completely Stock 4.3

Maybe put the photo on a larger colored background? It crops the photo for both directions of the screen. If your original will fit inside both directions you can keep it whole. Only deal here is that you will see a colored background on the sides or top depending on the size and shape of the original. black or deep red might not be bad.

Selfie View?

I must have hit some setting because my Selfie view in camera is reduced and has Gray Box surrounding it. Does anyone know what I have done and how to restore to full view?
Thanks
Never mind I found how to change back. Not sure what the purpose of the button you hit to change view though. It looks like a flash icon.

It's basically a screen flashlight; it acts like a normal flash to light up your face so you can take selfies in the dark.
