When I restore a nandroid backup I have no Wi-Fi so I have been searching for a flashable radio zip, I unzipped the RUU.exe, and the OTA update but did not find a radio zip, cannot seem to find one anywhere, if anyone has one they'd like to share or a link to where I can download one, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hey all
First off, I have done all my research to try and answer this myself.. I GIVE UP! I have to be missing something.
I just rooted my HTC Evo using the unrevoked method..FULL ROOT 2.2 YAY!!!
Also, I followed all the steps from the UNLOCKR.com vid to unlock nandroid in hopes of being able to flash a custom rom. I now have the HBOOT .76 ver I think...downgraded from the .93 ver.
Everything seemed to go through seemlessly. But, when I go into recovery and try to flash the rom with the custom recovery (AMOS RA? I think is the one I am using, previously had clockwork mod but didn't like as much)...anyhow I keep getting an error after I try to flash the ZIP, MYNS WARM TWOPOINT TWO ROM to be exact. It says "E: Can't find update script" WHAT AM I DOING WRONG OR NOT DOING??? PLZ ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!! THANKS IN ADVANCE. Sorry if this has been answered but I really did search with no avail!
Thanks again!
Trying to get this figured out ASAP!

Are you by chance using a mac when you download the file?

Also, make sure the zip file you download isn't corrupt. Try and extract or peek inside to see if all the files are intact; more specifically, look for the update/updater script in the META-INF/com/google/android folder.
I did use a mac to download the roms.
I rooted my Evo using a Mac and installed roms using a mac. For nand unlock it should already unlock from the unrevoked method, but mine had hboot 97. There is a thread in the development area where you can find hboot 73 to flash.

My friend that uses a mac has had issues with roms like this. For some reason his mac was changing the compression when he would download the zip files. You might want to look into that.

Thank you very much. I did notice that the mac will actually de-compress the file as it downloads and when you re-compress the file it doesn't keep the correct format. Booted up windows 7 on my mac and re downloaded all the roms and kernal that I wanted and it worked flawlessly. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP GUYS!! GREAT ADVICE AND AWESOME RESPONSE TIME. Mods plz close..issue solved!!!
Downloaded ROM automatically decompressed...
Ran into this when I started trying to flash ROMs on my Mac...come to find out I was in Safari and once downloaded, the ROM was automatically decompressed and taken out of .zip form. I downloaded the same files using Firefox, and it gave the option to either have something decompress the downloaded file automatically, or save the .zip file to the HD. Once I selected save the .zip file, it was gravy. Just a lil help since I didn't see it posted. Have fun!

Just rooted other day, when I finally found a rom I liked I had the exact same issue. Used that glorious search function on this forum, and found this.
Installed and downloaded rom via Firefox, and now running MikFroyo !!!
Newb question I know, but I honestly searched everywhere. Their homepage only has .img files and I've managed to find a few relatively new .tar files but I need a .zip of 6.0.4 whatever the latest version is so I can flash it within cwm already (Can't Odin since work PC's permissions won't let me).
If someone could tell me where to get the cwm flashable zip of newest CWM that would be amazing, or how to make one myself.
Thank you in advance.

I would like to restore my stock recovery on 1.56.720.6, im unable to find this one on xda, My other option is to extract it from the OTA but there is no link anywhere to download that, can someone help me with this?
EDITL downloaded from htcdev site its a 100mb file do I flash the whole thing using super tool? if so which option should I pick to flash or goto CWM and flash from zip?
does my bootloader need to be locked before I do this?
anyone?
Is that download actually firmware or the OTA update?... I think it's only source code? Did you download it and check in the .zip file what the actual contents are before you just go and flash random .zip files with your version number on it?
As for stock recovery, correct, I can't find that stock recovery either. Just like with the OTA update most guys that get it don't bother making backup and sharing before doing anything.

They don't specify on the HTC site but when I unzip it there is a .tar file inside it, so I assume its either the ota or kernel source which someone more experienced than me can tell me.
Here's the link its filed as a zip under HTC one m8 devices
http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads
I know (or have read several times) that you can extract a stock recovery from an OTA...
Does anyone have a link to a thread which describes the path? I checked in the most recent OTA, and I couldn't find it... If it is in the firmware.zip, I am not sure if I know how to open this file.
Any links/suggestions appreciated.

Hello,
The recovery is in the firmware.zip. I use winrar to extract the files. Hope that helps.

I know how to flash droid. but how can i flash system.img.
i didnt find this file on the update
and what should i write in cmd to update system.img?
please help me out.
If you unzip the full ROM package (not OTA) then you'll find those files, like system.img/boot.img etc. At least they're there in the pre-rooted system zips - https://mega.co.nz/#F!k4MHiAgL!dVuOKeH3eokcwPSNI79ffw
