Hey guys, does someone notice noise from speaker when you calling? I can hear it, when I'm in quiet place.
It sounds like, when you put your phone with enabled mobile data near to computer speakers..

Hey Guys,
yesterday i recived a text message and as the notification sound played i noticed a loud background noise.
I never noticed that before, so its happening since yesterday. Everytime the rear speaker gets activated you can hear a very loud background noise, a hissing noise which ends with a loud click, when the speaker gets deactivated.
This happens everytime, incomming call, messages, dial pad sounds, music,...
(Running CM 6.1.1)
Anyone who knows what to do? Should i return the device?
A hiss? Sounds like the speaker is dammaged. Do you know anyone with the same phone? You can compair then. Or can your record a video of the sound & share the link here? That way we can tell you if its normal or not

Hi,
i allready asked one of my mates if he has got the same problem. But he hasn't.
I wanted to record it, but you don't really hear much of it, since the sound which is comming out of the speaker is nearly the same noise as the background noise of the recording.
I will mail my distributor to get a new phone.
Hello,
I do not use the phone feature very often, but recently I had to take some calls while driving and could hardly understand what the other person is saying, because the speaker phone volume is really low.
Now, of course I set the volume to max and checked every setting I could find related to phone calls. I even went into the service menu and did the speaker tests. There I realized that the speaker phone is using a different speaker as the one that is used to play back music or other sounds. The same sound sample is used in the tests and it is much softer in the speaker phone test compared to the mono or stereo speaker tests.
Is there any hack, setting or configuration file change I can do to use the mono or stereo speaker for the speaker phone feature?
Please help, this is the only gripe with this fine phone I have.
Same problem here.
Solutions, anyone?

Hi everyone,
2 weeks ago I retired my Galaxy S1 and upgraded to a P6. I love a lot about it, and now with the european P125 upgrade, the wifi connectivity issues seem to be resolved as well.
But one issue still seems to come up:
When I have headphones without a mic connected (in my case, Sennheiser HD-25-1), the call quality as perceived by the recipient is horrible when there is ambient noise present (for example in a bus).
So, whenever I listen to music and I receive a call - when I don't disconnect my headphones and use my P6 like usual, I hear the other person just fine, but he hears the ambient noise much much louder than usual.
When I disconnect the headphones, everything is back to normal.
This wasn't the case with my old SGS...
So I did a few experiments:
- Without ambient noise, the recipient doesn't notice much of a difference whether I use headphones or not
- With ambient noise (simulated by loud radio), when I don't use headphones, the other person hears me fine, much louder than the ambient.
- With ambient noise and connected headphones, my voice is as loud as the ambient noise, so the other person has big troubles understanding me
- Now, when I talk to the *top* of the P6 (right next to the USB port) into the mic that is used to filter out ambient noise during calling, my voice is *louder* than before - so at least that is a small workaround to that
So it seems to me, that when I connect headphones, the upper mic is used only, while without connected headphones, the lower mic is used as primary mic and the upper one is used just for filtering out ambient.
Anyway, it's doing something that I don't want it to do and now I wonder if I can change it
(By the way, I tried with 3 different headphones, doesn't make a difference).
I have a P6 that used to have B606 and now has B125 and it behaved the same for both software versions.
Soooo.. any clues?
regards,

Click to collapse
Go to Settings/Sound/Dolby Digital Plus and uncheck it. See if that helps.
It's already unchecked... :/
I have noticed the same problem...
very annoying...

Hi everyone. I've got a question: does anyone have a little noise in speaker during the call? This noise sounds like when you get the phone close to a computer loudspeaker during an active call or while loading something with mobile internet. It's not very loud, but when I speak without the cover, I can hear it. Am I the one with this problem or it's OK?
Hi All,
When I am making calls from my Pixel 2 XL, i could hear noise distortion. Its there for normal audio call as well as for WhatsApp audio call. In video call speaker is working fine. I feel its something with ear speaker. Any solution for it?
Nobody else? I just bought a used one and ear piece isn't that clear when on a call.
