[Xposed] [OP2] OnePlus 2 / OxygenOS-specific Xposed modules - OnePlus 2 Original Android Development

Hi all,
Since it didn't seem like anybody had written Xposed modules for some features I wanted, I wrote a couple myself. These are OxygenOS-specific. If you have any other OxygenOS-specific Xposed modules you'd like to see, let me know in this thread. I'm just getting started using Xposed, so I'm learning as I go.
No Quick Pulldown: http://repo.xposed.info/module/io.gavinhungry.xposed.oneplus.noquickpulldown
This disables the "quick pulldown" (which is when you swipe down on the right side of your statusbar, it skips the notifications and takes you straight to quick settings). This module also disables "smart pulldown" (which is when you get the quick pulldown behavior only when you have no notifications). As a side-effect, it also disables "two-finger quick pulldown." Since I don't use that, I don't care, but I could rework it if needed.
Reverse Alert Slider: http://repo.xposed.info/module/io.gavinhungry.xposed.oneplus.reversealertslider
This reverses the direction of the alert slider, so now the bottom position is "No interruptions," and the top position is "All notifications." It also disables the toast notification you see when moving the slider, and it removes the status from below the volume slider, both of which I found annoying (if you want to change the alert slider to control vibratation instead, check out VibrateMode).
No Quick Settings Edit Button: http://repo.xposed.info/module/io.gavinhungry.xposed.oneplus.noqseditbutton
This one is pretty minor, but since I only need to set the ordering of my Quick Settings tiles once, I don't want to see the little edit icon every day in my statusbar. This removes the icon. If you want to reorder your Quick Settings some more, you'll need to disable this module.

Thanks for putting in work?

I cant find the download for apk?

That's what I'm looking for a long time.. Thank you!

Awesome tweak, using both modules

The APKs are in his git in the 'dist' folder of each repository

Awesome work bro!

I added RawGit links to the APKs in the OP, for those having trouble finding them.

Thank you so much for the no quick pulldown! It was so frustrating.

some great work, thanks for this, was thinking of a vibrate mode instead of priority for xposed, if there is a solution can you let me know?

Edit: think it would be good if you could select if you want the volume short cuts etc. Would be nice touch

Hey, I shared the link to this thread on OnePlus forums, I hope you don't mind. Just installed the reverse alert slider module, works like it's supposed to, thanks!

I miss Wanam Xposed for Galaxy. Since we don't have custom OOS roms, looking forward for OOS specific mods for OPT. Great stuff!

The biggest reason I disabled that was because I couldn't figure out how to get it stay in sync with the slider - also, I never used it and found it annoying.
Introducing that as an option relies on 2 things - me be able to figure out how to keep it in sync, and me being able to create a UI. I'm not much of an Android developer, I'm afraid. If I can do those, I may also just combine these into a single module, then keep adding options to it.

Great job.

Why don't you add all these options in one app like wanam xposed does to Samsung devices?

Great work. Finally found the exact module which I wanted for the alert slider.
Thanks dev

Um, Its been sometime since I've been part of the Rooted Club (Last Phone to be rooted and unlocked was the HTC Droid DNA). I get the "Xposed is not compatible with Android SDK version 22 or your processor architecture (Arm64-v8a)" Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

[Q] Editing Power Toggles

Can anybody point me in the right direction for editing the power toggles in the notification bar? I've noticed that the galaxy S4 from T-mobile has the data toggle removed and i would like to add it back so that i completely eliminate the need to install 3rd party apps just for that toggle. If anybody knows what files i need to edit or a link to a good guide for this phone, i would greatly appreciate it, have a good day and thanks in advance for anybody helping.
PS - If i manage to get this done, i might even make a flashable zip with that addition included.
I would love to see that

I think some of the custom TW ROMs have the data toggle added back in if I'm not mistaken. So you might just be able to pull the elements form another ROM and insert them into the stock one. (Or just flash one of the custom ROMs)
Cyaogen definitely has it included so if you can,t find it pure made for the stock TW ROM you can at least get the elements you'd need from CM.
Good luck!

Any mea rom has it

Thank you guys for all of your suggestions. After a while, this was posted on the development section... apparently many people were asking for the same thing. Now i just need to dissect some roms and find the keywords used to add the other toggles...

The other toggle you can include is the " Brightness; "
The Brightness toggle is excellent, it's not how it used to be where it was off/on/auto etc.
This one displays a slider with auto option in it.............
Really nice!
---
I Am trying to get rid of the original brightness slider bar beneath the toggles...........
If anyone knows a way to remove it I would appreciate it a lot.

[Q] customize notification drawer

Hi, is there a way to customize the notification center in aosp roms?
With customize i mean something like:
-add/remove transparency
-change notification background
-remove the line that flashes when you pull it up or down
-(this is more difficoult) make it "solid". I don't know how to call it. I'd like to have it like in older htc sense versions, or like in last versions of ios, where the notification drawer comes down all together, it's not just like covered.
The last one is the one that interests me the most, but if you have any idea for the other ones it would be appreciated.
Thank you

i don't know how to make it solid, sorry... according to the xposed modules, the whole repository should be here on xda and you can browse all the modules through the installer... if you can't find anything there, you can always use google, but i'm pretty sure the repositories contain all available modules

[Q] Xposed

This may be a stupid question, but will Xposed work for the 7a? I strongly dislike Color OS and am waiting patiently for ROMS, but in the meantime I'd like to use Xposed to tweak some of the small annoyances of Color OS.
update: I installed Xposed and none of the modules that I am interested in seem to work. I really want the exchange security bypass (for lock screen features) and on-screen keys. I realize there is a work-around for on-screen keys, but I wanted to take the easy way out

It's already in the center on ColorOS which causes notifications to often go into overflow... I HATE centerclock for this reason (and you'll find that issue is why many custom firmwares refuse to merge that feature - it breaks notification icon layout)

To be prevent confusion its on the right in 1.2 and center in the beta although I think both could be fairly described as beta but that's grist for a different thread. lol At any rate totally agree. Center clocks serve no purpose I can discern but reduce the available notification area by more than half and even a pathetic old man like me who no one talks to can run out of space up there pretty quick with one.

[MOD][NMF26U/V] NavBar Tuner, Additional QS Tile Rows, NavBar DPI - TWRP Flashable

I have done some basic mods for the Pixel that have been well received, and @StickyEyez requested I do it for the Pixel XL as well. You can see my original post here https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel/themes/mod-navbar-tuner-additional-qa-tile-rows-t3522314
**I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES TO YOUR DEVICE. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK**
**v1.0 2017.01.05**
This mod is based on the NMF26V update, but it should work on NMF26U as well. It may work on older versions, but I have no information regarding this. If you want to test on other versions, you should back up your original /system/framework/framework-res.apk and system/priv-app/SystemUIGoogle/SystemUIGoogle.apk
NMF26# increased the NavBar height to a ridiculous 48dpi, so I have added 4dpi step-downs to 32dpi.
I've also made changes to make the Statusbar slightly smaller at 20dpi (original is 24dpi).
Only install one of each mod at a time. The NavBar/Statusbar mode impacts framework-res.apk and System UI mods impact SystemUIGoogle.apk, so if you select multiple it'll just install the last one you selected.
The mods that can be applied are:
NavBar/StatusBar dpi
0dpi/0dpi
0dpi/20dpi
0dpi/24dpi
32dpi/24dpi
32dpi/20dpi
36dpi/24dpi
36dpi/20dpi
40dpi/24dpi
40dpi/20dpi
44dpi/24dpi
44dpi/20dpi
48dpi/20dpi
SystemUI Mods
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness + 4 QS Tiles
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness + 4 QS Tiles + Battery Mod
Return to Stock
framework-res.apk
SystemUIGoogle.apk
Note, the 0dpi/0dpi mod is actually 0dpi/1dpi because if you set the statusbar to 0dpi you cannot pull it down while in apps. If applied to a standard setup, you will find that the tops of the clock show in the statusbar, and will not look good. But if you use a different launcher, I have been told this is not noticeable.
You can download the mod here Stranula_Full_Flash_v1.zip
To install you will need to have TWRP installed, then simply install the zip and follow the on screen menus.

**UPDATE**
I am about to be on a plane for the rest of the day, so I've updated the original post. @Cbass15 has reported the installer and mods to be working, so hopefully it is good to go. He is also going to be putting up some screenshots soon.
Here is just a couple of screenshots...
The first picture is a picture of the 4QT, along with brightness adjuster removed and battery percent enabled
The picture with a Nav bar is 32/24
The picture without a Nav Bar is 0/20
Want to see anymore screenshots before you flash? Let me know,I'll hook you up with one. :good:
Any chance of adding the center clock mod?
I don't see much point in removing the brightness slider as it does not shrink the area it was in. Unless you literally don't want to accidentally touch it.

If you don't want to disable the brightness bar, then don't disable it. It is an option in the UI Tuner. You can toggle it easily.

Yeah, it's a toggle. I just find it unfortunate that it doesn't really shrink down.
Thanks for this package, BTW. I just did this manually myself yesterday because nobody had anything that would allow for the navbar tuner in 7.1.1...

Unfortunately, not from me. I don't have the time to invest in modding. I just happen to be on vacation and had some spare time to do this.
I've been waiting to root and install TWRP until we get xposed framework because I want to hide the nav bar and enable pie controls. I see with this mod that I can hide the nav bar. Are there any good apps or installs for pie control like the GravityBox module with Xposed? I would love something that works similar to the pie controls in GravityBox. I've tried stuff like LMT but it doesn't appear to be as smooth.

I would like to make a suggestion.
I tried it, and I like it. However, during charging, on the lock screen, there should be an option to show or not show the ring. Right now, I use a black screen saver to save my screen from burn-in (the lower part showing the charge percentage), but with the app, the ring remains when the black screen saver is running, which kind of defeating my original intent to save the screen.
Other than that, it is a very cool app.
Now to disable the stock battery icon...
Got it, love it. Have it set up for 4 different colors at 4 different percentages and honestly, it's really cool. I dont need my battery percent on my active notification panel so my upper-screen looks less clittered!

Pretty sure you can do this with GoodLock (from the Samsung Store) and one of its plugins. It allows you to show/hide all of the system icons and move the clock around.
The plugin you want is called QuickStar.
I just tried this App for the S10 linked in the OP and love the idea. It would also be a great notification indicator, as I noticed the S10s no longer have a status LED.
May be nice to somehow incorporate a numeric percentage somewhere, maybe above the camera hole where there is dead space.
