I am living overseas and my Sprint phone had a T-mobile sim card.
After arriving is not working decided to update to zvh since I believe it may have to do with roaming settings.
After flashing ZVH stock thru TOT I lost my international sim unlock.
Since the phone says I have a invalid SIM the activation is not working and I cannot do UICC unlock.
I tried using simfree and other unlock methods like copying the telephony.db from the unlock files but it does not appear to be working.
Any idea what are my options? Do I have to downgrade?

Hey guys, I purchased this phone and have yet to officially activate it. I downgraded from 4.1.2 so that I could unlock it to work on other networks. I did the unlock procedure and I attempted to put in a METRO PCS Sim card but I get: Phone not allowed mm#6. The phone is not blacklisted as Ive checked numerous sites online and even went to a AT&T store and they were able to pop a AT&T Sim card in and it worked just fine.
I tried to search this issue but the only thing I can come up with was that it could possibly be blacklisted but Ive ruled out that possibility for now.
Could it be that the unlock was unsuccessful and I need to do it again? But then how am I supposed to know that it was successful without another carriers sim card? is there something that changes in the settings or something?

I have the MSL code but when I put a sim card in for ATT and reset the device it says invalid sim card. I never get an option to enter the code in to unlock the device for another carrier. I am stock firmware not rooted. I actually tried loading ATT stock firmware on to the tablet and that didn't work at all. I can't take it to sprint because the person I bought it from is not in good standing with them.
Any help would be awesome!

I have one I have been trying to get unlocked, using an idoneapps unlocking app to debrand and unlock my tablet. I’ve run the app several times and while it got rid of the sprint branding and boot image, and says sim unlock successful, I keep getting invalid SIM card error.
ive reset network settings, my tablet is stock 4.4.2 firmware and rooted.
Hey I have my sim unlocked I did it using the hidden menu method I have used it on simple and more recently metro. I got a new Nexus so this is now my backup. The other day I put my girls tmo sim in and it worked fine but today I put my mother's metro sim in and it wouldn't get a signal. But it didn't say insert sim. So did I inadvertently relock my phone to tmo by putting a tmo sim in it?
Also I am on cm 12.1 and I don't have a PC to Odin back to stock so is there a way to unlock the sim without having to go back to stock?
No re lock is possible.
There's no way you can relock your phone , it doesn't work that way, once is unlocked stays forever.
My UK Vodafone 815 only fully works with certain sim cards. I used an unlock code from ebay and have zero issues with O2/GiffGaff sims.
Now I wanted to use a Life Mobile (EE) sim but the data speed won't go beyond E yet the same sim gets H+ in other phones. After the unlock iD Mobile/Three sims wouldn't make calls.
Can the network unlock have gone wrong somehow?

Is it possible to flash the original vodafone software (assuming I can find one) to re-lock the phone so I can start again with another unlock?

I have called Sprint many times, after they keep telling me it is unlocked domestically and internationally, I finally gave up. The phone simply says to contact sprint to unlock. I have no idea what to do. When I press UCCI Unlock it gives me an internal error(407). I tried flashing unlocked firmware (U1) But it does not work on that either. Tried booting up with T-Mobile sim inside, still same result. What to do?

I had the same problem. I did a factory reset of my phone, and afterwards, the phone was automatically unlocked. For me, it seemed like a firmware bug.
Hi all. After the phone get unlocked, flash the U1 firmware and you'll be just fine. On the U1 firmware, T-Mobile is the only US carrier network that utilize the full potential of the U1 firmware, Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE. Verizon second with VoLTE, Sprint and AT&T no ? good on U1 firmware, only standard U firmware. Happy flashing
