The option to chose fingerprint unlock disappeared from my menu, and i cant even associate a fingerprint. It happens afther the 0909 and it never appears again. Anyone with this problem?
I have never had a problem with fingerprint. Try a clean flash to see it that helps. There is a newer rom version out also 20151016. When I have flashed stock before sometimes changing lockscreen wallpaper option is not there but when I flash it again it is???!
I have already do factory reset flash the rom via cmw, wiped everything and still not have the unlock option by fingerprint. Now i´am with eragon 5.6 and nothing..

Maybe you should also try it with a full wipe :

You do know that you don't see fingerprint as an option under security but instead as a separate option called Fingerprint under the "Backup and restore" entry? Just checking so you're not looking at the wrong place.

After that is done a new option "fingerprint" is added to the security settings for display lock.

Hello Brewn,
I cant add a fingerprint, the sensor seems to be unresponsive. i do that procedure and dont detect a single fingerprint
Has it worked before? You have to keep your finger on the sensor for a while for it to register your fingerprint and you have to repeat it for 10 times. This is not working?

Yes it worked before. After the 0909 stock update the option disappeared from the menu and the sensor dont register any fingerprint. Now iam with eragon 5.6 and visionary kernel

english only... you need to flash the .zip package with the system through recovery and flash the ftf with just the kernel with the flashtool, once that it's not possible to create just one zip with system and kernel without get a bootloop

Use the root Explorer app, hold in the file and select permissions, check the same boxes than the original file

If this is true, its a good improvement because the fingerprint wasn't good in previous builds...

Update worked fine here. I do get the message "Messaging is running in the background" on my smartwatch now though, but when I check the mobile there is no message. Might also be an issue of my smartwatch
Update, just found an issue, my gallery doesn't anymore show any pictures, only white place holders. Not sure what's going on, but hadn't yet time to troubleshoot this.

A reboot has fixed this issue, all running fine so far.
I got the update yesterday and could finally use FP, and works quite well. Overall it seems a good one. Still based on MM.

FP is better and you can change your region to UK now for those interested.

in this moment my daily rom is from miui.it based on android 7.0 (derived from global china dev and translated to full italian) with no problem, just warning using bank app and missing Netflix...

As I reported earlier, the FP works quite well, but I suspect there still remains some battery drain. Starting with a full charge, without FP the phone loses 8-10% of battery overnight (no wifi, battery saver on, and screen always off ), while with FP on, it loses almost 20%. For daily use, however, I didn't noticed much difference.
Is there a tool to measure precisely what is draining the battery (no root)?

Xiaomi EU rom is china rom based, this is globalrom... I you ask me, keep using Xiaomi EU because there is no tons of google apps in xiaomi eu rom....

I gave a hard reset from stock recovery to my realme x three days ago. after wiping all data my phone reboot and ask for my Realme Cloud Password.). but if I submit my password correctly. it's not working. but if i submit a wrong password. then it shows wrong password. please check the video of this problem.

Did you resolved this problem?
Finally found solution. Activation does not seem to work with Wifi.
I inserted my SIM card and turned on data connection then entered my
Realme ID password and it successfully unlocked.

I have the same problem. My phone is locked now, and the 'Activate my phone' app is not connecting to any network. I tried to connect to different wifi networks, also tried with mobile network, and it just show the same error message about the device cannot connect to the internet.
It's strange you are not able to work with it via Wi-Fi.

I used Global rom 12.0.5 something, didnt flash any rom, just using rooted myn device for xposed and gameguardian.

Hi, can you restart the phone in custom recovery (if you have installed it) or stock recovery?
nope, there is no display even on restart power button or even connecting to charge, but when ill connect to charger it vibrates like normal charging, maybe my problem came form the lcd?

Hi, try to flash the latest fastboot rom with MiFlash - https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2 - if the link is not opening set to Desktop mode in your browser.

Try with older MiFlash version - 25.04.2017 and save the rom files in shorter location like C:\Xiaomi\rom files
