how to root Coolpad 7019

hey guys
i'm a bit of newbie to android and i'd like to root my coolpad 7019(android 2.3.5) ...i've searched for the same in the forum
but found no thread related to it...
the main problem with the device is that play store is not there , instead some chinese variant is present
so please help me guys

yeah got root...but recently i messed with my media audio files by installing "beats audio" apps ..im waiting for a cwm recovery so that i could flash it ...

i did it manually..i tried rooting by software but didnt worked.. rooting was quite easy ..i dont think i hawe twe original ROM but i did find a rar file in the device's website...dont know what to do :crying:

Hey, I too have that 145MB rar file you are mentioning
You have to flash those ".img" files provided in that .rar file for getting the stock ROM. You can do it using fastboot. PM me for any help

hey i have the zip file..fast boot means recovery mode right ??

No sir, fastboot means bootloader mode. Press power button and vol down key (if u press vol up key, that one is recovery this is different)
The phone will get stuck at the boot logo. Then u have fastboot mode in your phone.

You can extract that zip, it contains all the needed software to flash the original files to the phone.

Whenever i try to flash (recovery mode) it shows a error msg "E:signature verification failed"and could'nt flash any zip files :crying:..is there any way that i can extract files from the boot image(system.img) ...some specific files ?

I have recently installed unofficial CM12 ROM on my canvas a1 device can I know how can I revert back to my stock android ROM which was on my android one phone. if any one has any idea please do post the links of the files or tools which are required to get back to my stock android and the detailed information in the comments. need a serious help to get back to my original ROM.

Getting back to the stock android rom is very easy . I am going to show you how to do it and what all stuff you need to download .
Thank me if i helped you
Note : You phone must be full charged and mustbe oem unlock ( for sure it will be oem unlock because u have cm12 with custom recovery )
Step 1 : Download all files and drivers which are given below.
Step 2: Extract everything in one folder ( sp flashtool in flash folder , rom in stock rom folder and drivers in drivers folder )
Step 3 : Turn your phone off and keep it aside ( remove battery and makesure its turned off and then put the battery... Do not turn your phone on... )
Step 4 : Open SPflashtool.exe file from SPflashtool folder and link the scattler file ( browse file and then select the scattler file from the stock rom folder )
Step 5 : Hit download on spflashtool
Step 6 : Connect your phone via usb ( do not turn your phone on ... just connect in turn off mode )
Step 7 : Wait for it to complete after that you will see a green right that means everything worked fine ...
Now disconnect and remove battery and turn your phone on. First boot might take some time and you are in.....
If you face any problem then PM me. You can install drivers if your phone is not detected .

Which Operating System are you using? Is it Windows 8 or Windows 8.1? Cause SP Flash Tool Doesn't Support Windows 8 and 8.1.. I had to revert back to Windows 7 for using SP Flash Tool. Try using it on Windows 7.. It will definitely work.:good:

Try to run the application as admin by right clicking on the app -> run as admin...

Dude you have unlocked the bootloader, now you have to lock the bootloader again. Download here http://www.mediafire.com/?vrdi3osw...ouble click on bat file.

[Q] zp999 error with MTK droid tools

Hi All,
I want to backup my stock rom of my zp999 pro (build 20141218-145608) , make a scatter file so i can root my phone with sp-flash tools. (right procedure ?)
I have succesfully installed drivers.
But when i run the latest MTK Droidtool is can see the specs of my phone but on the right screen i get an error :
--- ERROR : --- TotalBytesPerChunk Not Found. Set default Page/Spare=2048/64 !!!
ATTENTION! File /system/recovery-from-boot.p which restore factory recovery in case of phone switching on in a normal mode Is Found!
Therefore i do not want to go further incase i should brick my phone with that.
Any suggestions wether it is safe to go further in mtkdroidtools or not?
Is Mtk droidtools working with MTK6595 devices after all?
Are there other methods to backup stock rom , make a scatter file and use SP Flashtool to root?
Any help is welcome.

I could be mistaken but to make a backup of your ROM with SP FTools, i think we allways need MTK Droidtools , no ?
Correct me if i am wrong.
And why i get the error in MTK Droidtools ?
In the mean time i rooted my ZP999 correctly just by using a stockROM from Zopomobileshop.com (2 available), using SP FTools and Carliv reovery and Superuser to root in CWMrecovery.

Thanks - i looked this video a while ago.
But making a scatter file of your actual ROM implies you need to work with MTK droid tools. And this program gives an error....so not working with this phone.
Correct me if i am wrong.

If you sure that you are making the scatter file correctly, it should not give u issues.
Try to check the files in scatter and then readback the whole rom, even if its not rooted, it should work

The program gives an error when connecting the phone to usb. See attachment.
I do not take the risk to go further.
But i am rooted now with a stock Rom and Carliv recovery , so i am fine !

The Blue box on the bottom means you do not have shell root to proceed. It should be Green (Proper root or Yellow to get shell root)
Flash the Chainfire zip and try again, you should see a yellow box if not green but not blue

As a matter of fact , the previous picture was BEFORE i was rooted.
Now that i am rooted, MTK Droid Tools give me a yellow square with some additive info....(to get root shell)
So as i can understand, i could not use MTK DTools unless i was rooted , right???
Now it is no longer necessary to backup with MTK DT because i am rooted now
ps : what do you mean with Chainfire ?

I referring to the SU Zip file by chainfire that can we flashed to get root access. Anyway since you already have it just read here -

Once you have shell root on MTK droid tool (If you see yellow, click on the root link on MTK and it will get shell root to proceed.
Then you can have a full backup of IMEI and stock rom to play around

Help me unbricking my desire 526g (mt6582)

Hi
today i decided to upgrade my phone to cm (marshmallow)
so i should unlock bootloader .
i read some topics here an used sp flash tool and i couldn't did it .
unfortunately in sp tool at format tab i clicked start , then the phone bricked and don't power on .
when i press power key the phone vibrate but don't show anything .
what can i do ?
please help me .

1. Download the SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1420.03
2. Download agent select DA_SWSEC In the sp tool
3. Load scater file from firmware you downloaded ( in my case that is HTC Desire 526,526g,526h k44 1.00.401.1 Europe by jamesjerss )
4. Choose Format all+Download

If possible try using the recovery to flash via sdcard

You get a boot loop when you flash a rom thats not of your phone type . Or if your bootloader is not unlocked

is there any way to unlock bootloader of a bricked phone

He choose clean all and lock option because of that he brick his phone

Might I know what's the benefit of switching to China rom?
Not having a google play storeor Google framework is a merit to you ?

iirc, you can just toggle on google services in settings, though this might be outdated info
edit: according to this chinese forum, it does have gms, the screenshot looks like its with official customer service too

First of all apply for unlock bootloader to miui offical then next
U have to download k40 fastboot mathed file .first extract it with winzip on desktop after this then again extract desktop with 7 zip
Now u have file for flash.
Download file miflash and driver instal it.power off your cell after
Press vol down and power buton now your cell in fastboot methd now open miflash tool search file which on your desktop select conect it with offical lead now refresh press butun
One more thing backup your data on mi cloud
Then select clean
After that simply press flash and sit after 900 sec it shows result suecess

i thought this would brick your phone since xiaomi no longer allows you to flash from global to cn? i just cant help but be a bit doubtful about this... all the sources ive read all say to use custom recoveries instead of direct flash
