Try rooting through kingsroot.

So i have a Galaxy s4 mini with sprint as my carrier. I'm currently trying to root it via Kingo root app but the problem is that everytime i try, the end result is NeedRoot. I checked my phone and apparently the problem is that everytime I try to root, i get a little shield on my phone saying "Security notice" once it's clicked it states " An attempt to access a secure area on your phone without authorization has been blocked. Make sure your phone is protected by updating the security policy to the latest version from samsung". So how do I remove this policy problem? I just want to root my S4 Mini. Any help/advice is great help, thank you!

If you took all the updates and are on NA7, no. As far as I know we need ODIN/Kies to root now. Ideally, we wouldn't have have taken the update that made Knox an issue. Someone would have dumped update, broken it apart and gave us a zip to flash everything but the bootloader so we wouldn't have these issues.

Hi i have a s4 mini gti9195i with knox rooted by kingo root apk
how can i change from kingo's superuser to supersu from chainfire? The update of the binary fails.
Not fast but 100% good way:
1. Flash stock firmware with odin (remove kingoroot and all it's trash).
2. Use CF-Auto-root or (if you plan to use custom roms) flash custom recovery.
Notice:
CF-Auto-root probably will trip knox flag when trying to disable knox security.
Greetings,
Is this a safe method to root my G3 international version (32Gb)? Is it temporarly or permantly?
Also, will I still be able to receive OTA updates with this root?
Thanks!

You will most likely need to unroot to take an OTA. I updated with root on my F460S (it shouldn't have let me do it) but that was a fluke. If you need to take an OTA then you will have to use SU to unroot and then update-> root again. Just make sure the new OTA is still rootable. Rooting it's safe if you know what you are doing. I have used IORoot, and StumpRoot without issues.
hmm
Ok and won't my root dissapear if I reboot the device? (with the towellroot method?)
Because, I heard an youtube video, that said you don't need to reboot ur device once you run the apk to root...
It means you dont have to reboot after installing towel root.
It does mean you cant OTA after root generally any method period.
It doesnt mean you cant reboot after towelroot. Root will be there after reboot.
Confusing? Your post too.
please hit thanks if i helped in any way. send from my g3 d852 beast

Anyone successful rooted g3s(beat) d722k lollipop (android 5.0)?

Hi, i used LG One Click root and King root. Both work but when you reboot your device, the root access is removed. It might help but .............
For ino, i have a LG G3S D722K 5.0.2
New Method
Hi. Found that link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197
Seems it can be done manually, i'm going to try it and hope it works.
Kingroot
In case anyone still can't find a solution. I found only Kingroot would work with my device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=12586
I previously used purpledrake fine on kitkat, but i tried that, lg oneclick, towel root and another one and couldn't find anything to give me a perm root.
The only downside is you need to use Kinguser, instead on superSU or superuser. I know there is a workaround that just didn't work for me.
Now I just have an Xposed incompatibility issue to look into...

Issue with lg g3 beat with lolip 5.0.2
Hello, i rooted with LG One Click (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/lg-g3s-beat-d722-thread-t3110048). Root Checker says:
ROOT ACCESS: Device rooted
SUPER USER: SU FOUND
BUSY BOX: Busy box not installed
and path information, i guess for su
The issue is i can't do nothing else:
Installed supersu but don't update binaries.
And any app that ask for root access do not have it.
Preciate some help (newbi in rooting and so...).
Thank you
Hey guys, I'm currently on xtreolite deodexed v2.3, Android Pay will not work for me due to the root level access, some people have been able to get around this by disabling root in SuperSU and installing but that didn't work for me. Can those on different ROMs please try and report back? Does stock + root work?
I think you need to flash stock, install and setup pay, then root
^^ this! Above poster is right,
Actually, after rooting again android pay will not process transactions. At least mine failed today after rooting again when I tried at McDonald's.
Is it checking the KNOX counter or just the phone being rooted?
Just if it is rooted
Aren't there xposed modules to hide root?

Nope :<
Only way to do so is downgrade to LL, root and flash bumped MM through TWRP.
It's a shame, that noone is working on new root method...
