I have the clock and weather widget on my home screen and the clock is wrong but my time in the notification shade is correct. Anyone else having this issue. Also my lockscreen has the same widget and the time is correct on it .
Look on the upper right part of your screen where it says Brookhaven as your location....look right under that and there is a tiny refresh button. Hit that and it will refresh and correct itself.
Thank you. That was the first thing I tried this morning if you look at my picture you can see that I refreshed it a few minutes before I took the picture. After waiting many hours I refreshed it again like you suggested and it did work thank you very much.

I've switched to CM7 recently, and really miss the utility of the Sense clock app.
Would really like something that has clock/alarm/timer/stopwatch in one app.
I've searched for a while and can't find anything.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Well, i can't say i know something that covers all your req's, but I use FlipClock Blue Magic and it is a pretty nice clock. Resembles the sense clock and allows skins and other customizations. It can show your next alarm on the clock (although not set a new alarm). It does allow you to set an application to start when you touch the hours part of the clock. It can also display system information and weather.
No timer/stopwatch though, but if you find a timer/stopwatch app, you can set it to launch that app by touching the hours on the clock.
... Just set the cm clock as the application to launch for the hours and it brings you to a screen where you can set a new alarm, show picture slideshow, access your music, and get back to your home screen. Might be worth a shot
This was written by an XDA dev. Absolutely awesome.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately I'm not looking for a widget. I'm fine with Beautiful Widgets/Simi.
<br>
I have it now set up to bring up stock clock when the hour/minutes are touched. I wanted instead to have it launch something else that would include both a clock and a timer/stopwatch.
But I guess if it doesn't exist, then it doesn't exist.
Oh, lol! Sorry I totally misunderstood your question lol. I will keep an eye out now that I re-read lol

Thanks for looking out!
Hi all,
I am new to SE and new to android ,the problem what i face is in desktop i have digital clock widget and it shows different time from the time set in settings and what displayed in top right corner , also when phone is locked when a key press is made i am able to see correct time.
i have unchecked automatic option in date & time settings.
how to solve this problem ?
Time in settings and top corner: 9:21
Time in digital clock widget : 3:51
Thanks in advance
that happened to me but it fixed it self so no idea
maybe you used a taskkiller and killed the app responsable for the widgets updates?
i didnt use task killer..any fix?
You haven't got it set to display a different time-zone do you?
sorry for late reply ....switched off and on fixed the problem
Hi,
I faced the same problem over the last few days... the clock just sometimes seems out of sync with the system clock. Pretty annoying.
Removing and re-adding the widget helps, but that's just a useless fuss.
I'm trying the reboot and see if it sticks now.
Regards,
cherryfish
Edit: just to make it clear, I'm using the digital clock widget that's on the Homescreen by default.
only get that problem with BobClockD3, no problem with another clock widget.
It also happened to me. I just reset the time and all will have same tume.

I just recently rooted to 4.3 and I just noticed today that my lock screen clock is off center. It appears to be aligned to the left. Has anyone else noticed this or know of a fix to align this?
thanks!

I see the same thing( non-root ). I couldn't find an option to center it.
I did set the Clock size from Small to Large in the Lock screen widgets, and it made it look a little better.
Clock Left Alignment
Yeah I shiver every time I go to unlock my phone with the clock off center. I have looked around a bit to see if I could change the settings but as said before it only gives the option to change Size and add date. I just received a text message and it shows on my lock screen and I can see why they put it more to the left but if I turn off the text preview I thought it may correct the clock.
I just updated this morning and will search around but I am still trying to figure out a few things. If anyone has a fix for the following i would <3 you!
1. I hate the text messaging images now(picture of contact) any way to turn off?
2. I want the status bar text preview but not on my lock screen. Option combines the preview for the status bar and lock screen.
3. I dont want the notification box to open on my lock screen. "New Message"
If anyone has any advice or would like to tell me to suck it up please let me know!
About half the time, when I swipe the lock screen to unlock, the camera app opens. This is annoying. Is this a bug, or is it a feature? Does anybody know a way to turn it off? I can't find anything in settings that seems to do it.
It is a lock screen widget.
You get this by swiping from the right bezel across to the left bezel when on the lock screen.
The default is the camera.
To remove:
swipe from left bezel to the right bezel
press 'Tap to add widgets'
un-tick Camera (top left icon)

For me, swiping from left to right either unlocks the tablet or will cause the time indication to scroll across the screen. It never brings up a "Tap to add widgets" option. Does that work differently for you?
If I disable the camera, and have no other lock widgets selected, then the swipe from bezel to bezel (in either direction) just (slighty) rotates the large digital clock
So, how do you get to the option to disable the camera widget?

To remove:
access the lock screen
swipe from left bezel to the right bezel (not just screen swipe, it must be from bezel)
press the large 'Tap to add widgets' icon on the middle of the screen
un-tick Camera widget (top left icon)

Once again, when I swipe bezel-to-bezel or otherwise, I never get a "Tap to add widgets" icon. If I touch the clock, I get a large empty rectangle at the bottom of the screen. Not sure how to get the "Tap" option.
All my notes above were for portrait mode.
Try it in landscape mode. Just swipe left to right on the clock.

woody1 , i used to have the same issue .
when u are at the lock screen , keep swiping from left to right on the clock widget, u will eventually reach the "add" button , u can remove the camera from there.
interestingly, what i did to resolve the camera widget popping out issue, is remove all the clock widgets ,except one, on the lock screen ... without having to remove the camera widget itself. furthermore more , it seemed to resolve the weird slow downs i was experiencing. on the lock screen after wake up.
i dont know what caused these multiple clock widgets to appear ,but removing them solved it for me. i am pretty sure it is a bug
That did the trick! I'm surprised that nobody else has commented on this problem. Thanks much for your help!

Never had this come up, i did what SURGE did a long time ago. Press and hold the clock and remove each one (not sure how i got 5 clocks on there) and just leave the one.

Yes, it's a tricky thing. I switched to Nova Launcher a while back. I wonder if changing the launcher might have caused the multiple clocks?

Possible, but i had the multiple clocks before i installed Google Now Launcher. Still debating if i should just throw Nova on like in my Optimus G ...
i don't. think it is an alternative launcher issue , in my case , i only used the stock lg one .
in my case i had ALOT of clock widgets (i was maxed out on the possible amout of widgets on the lock screen ).
at first i thought it was a used unit issue , where somebody messed around with the tablet before repackaging it, but then i noticed a pattern where ,when i was waking up the tablet,it would slow down abit . then i would check the lockscreen and saw that a new widget was generated.
so i assume it is either a lockscreen app issue or a waking up the tablet one.
my question to both of you gentlemen is :
-which lock screen are u using (slide, pattern , etc ) ?
- are. you using a smart cover/case (you know the one that automatically wakes up the tablet when u open the cover ) ?
becoz disabeling the smart cover also seemed to stop the issue in my case

To answer your questions, I'm using the default swipe to unlock and I've never used a smart cover. I don't know when the multiple clocks appeared. They don't seem to have come back since I deleted them a few days ago.
Anyone here running DashClock ? I tried to put on my Lock screen, and figured that out. Just had to swipe to the left in lock screen, and hit the + button, and add the Widget, then I deleted the normal clock in the default lock screen, and moved Dash Clock there.
Ok all works, BUT...I only see a small condensed DashClock, just the time, with the weather and missed calls on a tiny spot near the right of clock. But, is there a way to keep Dash Clock expanded? Without having to drag it down each time ?
I am running the GPE ROM on my HTC One M8.
