Anyone else notice this with their phone?
I have always had the wifi bug on my phone. On the latest fw 4.1.2 and still bugged. It's the drop i speed and the phone gets unresponsive when the internet connection is somewhat gone... I have to turn wifi off and on again to fix it.
I found sort of solution to it when i chose the option in settings that the wifi is turned off when in standby. And the when i woke the phone i could see a message in the bottom that said that wifi is connected.
But now i never get that message and it seems that wifi is always connected... How can i fix this? Is it an app that i causing this? That keeps the wifi connection on at all times?
The wifi on my H815 (rooted) keeps disabling itself. The phone is 3 feet from my wireless router, and smart network switching is turned off, but wifi always turns itself off within a few minutes of me enabling it. A factory reset resolved it for a short while (an hour or so), but now the problem is back.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Can you confirm if this is on all WiFis? I ask this because my 2.4 line never disconnects, but my 5.0 line disconnects every now and then. I do not see disconnects anywhere other than on my home connection, making me think that it has something to do with the router at home.
I only have a single band - 2.4Ghz, and it's that one that it disconnects from. The wifi quick toggle in the notification bar actually disables itself.
I think you fried your wifi antenna. Did you use wireless charging extensively? There are quite a few threads about this.
No, there isn't a wireless charging receiver in the phone.
???
Hi!
I'm on stock OOS 4.0.3, unrooted. I've noticed a lot of people facing hotspot disconnections even when a device is connected.
I figured out the cause to be the WiFi which periodically switches on, connects to any network if available (in my case my home WiFi), and switches off automatically after about 10-15 seconds. If a hotspot was on, it is turned off and doesn't turn back on.
The only option for me was to resort to using USB tethering. Also, I'm sure it isn't due to any third party application.
Has anyone found a solution to this?
Also, my device suddenly locks itself and asks for password/fingerprint even when I'm using it! Any reports of this happening to others?
Thanks!
When I play pubg on WiFi, it almost every game says server not responding and stops letting me control for like 10 seconds. I noticed it only happens on WiFi. Not on mobile data. Wonder if I have a default unit or something because I heard Huawei Mate 20 X has some of the greatest connectivity
