Damn it and I just flashed and set up Freeza's latest
Also can we change the kernel
I took the ota update to 5.0+...I cant just simply flash this right? I just want to make sure so I don't waste my time. I would really love to try this rom
yea, I too was on 5.1.1 and now running Freeza's latest but would love to give this a run. Wasn't sure if I could just wipe and flash.

I like MIUI ROMS I tried it out not bad, it's just i don't like that you can't use other kernels and also it's kit kat
test this now you can just wipe and flash even if you are on 5.1.1.. the rom starts on right away in Chinese so you will have to change the language also data wasnt turned on after flash i had to turn it on tho i cant figure out how to get LTE i havent tested much yet but ill report back once ive test it more
Screens?
Ill post a few SS shortly
Edit:
Here are some screenshots
I cant download from this link doesnt move from 0% is there another one?

ooo it looks so clean! it's been years since I've tried miui (galaxy s1)
I do have the downgradeable bootloader and running 5.1.1 but I really don't think I can bring myself to go back to kitkat... I look forward to any possible lolly releases in the future. great work!
edit: I do have a question... has the download booster been enabled? the Sprint variant (910p) has not yet received a working mod although other Sprint devices have been successfully been patched to make it work (s4, s5, maybe 6 too?)

No you don't have to downgrade the bootloader.
I haven't spent a lot of time messing with the rom. I haven't seen a download booster yet.

This custom recovery, in its current state, creates lots of instability on the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It is being reported many times in the discussion thread you are pointing to. A word of caution would be a fair addition to your instructions

Considering the similarities between the domestic variants of the Note 2 and their international counterparts, would anyone be willing to test some of the success that the folks over in the AT&T forum have had with porting the international N7100/N7105 firmware/ROM's over to the T-Mobile Note 2
Check out these two threads over in the AT&T forum and see what you all think:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2016575
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018411
The basic gist of the procedure is to use a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP to flash a stock N7100/N7105 firmware, and then flash your carrier specific modem/kernel.
Why would anyone want to do this? Well, for starters, you would benefit from built-in stock-supported tethering, and a few other features that carriers disable (YMMV). But mainly this means that the domestic versions of the Note 2 can benefit from the development of the international versions! So, when the latest version of Android comes out for the rest of the world, we aren't stuck here waiting for our carrier to catch up to everyone else...
So what do you all think? Anyone willing to try?
I have see this post on att

Actually, there is a port of cm10 for the ATT Note 2 device, it was ported from the official cm10 for the N7100 device by madmack. I'm running it on the T-Mobile Note 2 and to tell you the truth, it is very stable so far even if it's coming from a nightly build. Check out this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024495.
Once you go to that link, go to page 24 or 25 because you need to download 3 zip files in order for the rom to function correctly, also make sure to download the modem or radio because you need to flash that as well. Before you flash anything make sure to go to the OP for that rom and follow instructions thoroughly. If you're concerned for the S Pen functionality, don't worry, it works, I just had to download an app from the play store called Memo (which doest the same stuff as S Note.
Well if you wanna try, I don't have the time but .....
Here is some stuff to help you..
Do a Nandroid backup. or Titanium backup.
Do a full wipe,
Flash the rom you want, if given the option don't flash the modem
then flash Jedi-X Kitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106549
Then if you had to flash another Modem for that Rom then flash http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNote2/tmoroms/JediX/T889V_Modem.zip if that fist your PHONE (tmO)
I may do a video on it in Youtube if i get time but the omega rom was just taking too long to download so i am not trying it tonight.
I am going to flash Jedi X
Nite...
See you on yTube. http://bit.ly/YT-DL-SG

I just tried this, and while the Omega ROM flashed just fine, I had no radio signal, no data, no calls, and the phone would not recognize my SIM Card. That is after flashing the Jedi Kitchen and the radio provided in the link.
The Omega ROM looks pretty awesome, it would be nice to have it working on TMO Note II's.
Disclaimer:
I have to admit, I've flashed 4 different ROM's so far, and only two of them have completed the install. The rest have failed during the update, or caused a boot cycle. This includes the Jedi Master ROM. So it's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong.

ROOT BOX is an ATT ROM that works well
CARBON NIGHTLY | KROZ HUE THEME | CRACK FLASHER
It is actually posted in the n7100 that all roms need to be ported to us carriers and gives procedures on how to do so
Not saying the guys in the posts before mine are wrong but need to be careful when flashing n7100 roms without porting them the proper way

Hey did you ever try a complete wipe using TWRP as your recovery factory wiping then system wiping as well, I Also found depending on your SD card if you can back up your Sd cards Sometimes it is helpful to start with just the files you need to flash on the sd. Make sure that you only flash the correct radio. For me that was the latest radio I think its the second down in the list for the jedi kitchen part.
Feel free to contact me but I am very busy so I apologize ahead of time for being slow.
Can anyone answer if 4G and LTE is still working or is it 3G only? Are you able to still roam the same?
I am gonna show you how to install Miui v5 on your T-Mobile S4, I have seen other people posting tuts but they were not to clear on how to install so here is how i installed it on my T-Mobile Galaxy S4. And i did compare the Hardware between international S4 and T-Mobile S4 and they have the exact hardware so i was thinking hmm why wouldnt Miui V4 not work on a T-Mobile S4?
Settings will show the international model number because its originally made for that model of the s4. If you see my screenshots it shows it but that is my T-Mobile S4
Firstly i reccemend you to install Philz Recovery so you have no problems with it booting or other related issues. (Best recovery to install miui with i never had any problems but you can use whatever one you want but i highly reccemend this one)
I am not responsible if you create a paper weight (bricked) ,Dead SD card , Phone explodes, Phone grows legs and takes over the world or anything like that. You are installing this with your own risk. My phone was previously on the stock 4.2.2 so i wasnt on 4.3 with knox so im not sure if you will or will not have problems with a T-Mobile S4 with a different baseband but im sure it will still work even coming from a different base S4.

How to enable LTE:
Go to settings>All settings>Mobile Networks>Access point names>Click on the arrow and change epc.tmobile.com to fast.tmobile.com then then save and tap on it to activate the apn (if no data change fast.tmobile.com to fast.t-mobile.com)
Next go to your dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*
tap phone info and tap gsm auto (prl) and change to LTE then once you see the data icon like 3G or H change to 4g you can change it to LTE /GSM/CDMA auto (prl) if you like.
If you reboot and it doesnt stick then you can redo the dialer method or you can post back and i can help you out.

Not sure what you're trying to say here. Your issue may be that the APN needs to be in all lowercase ie: fast.t-mobile.com
to recap/clarify
Go to settings>All settings>Mobile Networks>Access point names
Under APNs click the arrow on T-Mobile US
Change the APN from epc.tmobile.com to fast.t-mobile.com or fast.tmobile.com. (If one doesn't work, try the other)
Next go to your dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*
Tap phone information.
Under Preferred Network type hit the drop down menu and tap LTE only.
Once you see the data icon like 3G or H change to 4g you change it to LTE /GSM Auto(PRL)

Here's how i did it with philz, this may help.
boot recovery,
wipe data/factory reset > select install new rom (this will clear system and cache and data)
wipe dalvik
install rom,
install gapps
wipe cache and dalvik again just for the hell of it.

No it's not. But you can't currently get a newer version of MiUi for the S4.
So yes this is the latest for this model phone but not the latest release of the Original Rom from MiUi

I am not sure about all I9505's Roms but GOLDENYEY ver 25 is working perfect with my m919. My modem is still MK2 and my kernel is GOLDENYEY default Rom (talexop_Kernel_i9505_v2.1) but you can change it to Ktoonsez JB4.4-TW if you will get any problems.

OK,Thanks for your answer.
Two additional kernel to GOLDENEYE rom
There are 2 more kernel (in addition to KT) that work perfect with GOLDENEYE on m919. The wanam (Adam) kernel :

The talexop kernel:

You can check them.

Funny, I remember I got flamed for mention this Awsome Rom in db Thread once and seems evreybody are moving to it...welcome guys and lets bring the best of our S4.
Glad to see other people are enjoying this awesome ROM.
As I prefer the stock TW with no bloatwares this ROM is my ultimate choice. Extremely good on battery. Easy > 4h of screen time over the course of 2 days. No hiccup, no trade off. Very smooth and runs with minimum RAM (~35% most of the time on mine)
The few problems I've found are either belong to kitkat itself or cosmetic ones.
1. VPN still doesn't work. It gets connected but no data package transferred.
2. Lock screen music widget sucks. No longer able to pick song from the list or change shuffle / repeat.
3. The built-in Adam KN hasn't fixed the power off charging. The latest talexop KN v.25 did fix this problem.
4. Under Settings / Storage it shows 9.7gbs, which is the actual storage left on our phone.
5. In About device it shows I9505, not our M919. This reflects on Google Play and all other google services.
Overall I'm very happy with this ROM. Highly recommended for anyone prefer stock TW look. Just wish someone will step up and fix the VPN issue soon. Seems like it plagues most devices running kitkat.
Going to give this ROM a try. Hopeful I get the results you guys are getting.
This is, by far, the most stable, fastest ROM that I have tried. And I am a flash-a-holic!
I installed ktoonsez kernel and left the settings alone to get LTE.
I am using this with Straight Talk (ATT Sim). I have not seen LTE icon in last 2 days. Is there something I should be doing?
- I already applied LTE Fix - It was on first post of ROM
- I have double checked my APN and it is same as what I had with Stock ROM and I got LTE signal fine.
Is it just the display thing? I know old CM ROMS used to display LTE as 4G and 4G as H+
Please let me know.

4G is LTE in the international ROMs.. It will show 3G/H+ for UMTS/HSDPA
Edit: if you want to change the icons I posted a way to do it in the original thread

now that we have a working kernel for our device, what roms are we able to flash with out kernel and have good results?
Will regular S6 roms work or will we have to stick to edge only? I dont mind about losing the edge function too much.

We had a kernel for a while lol....... You could regular s6 roms but u will lose all the edge functions.... international roms still don't work,
Nothing catches my eye more than a KT kernel though. Thanks for the suggestion of regular s6 roms.
You said international roms won't work, what does that include? Does Canadian versions work on our device?

I tried tmobile S6 rom which is XtreStoLite Pure Edition 1.0c with our custom kernel.....and is not working...(on full wipe)
I mean is working but when you switch screen OFF you can't switch ON back...
(PS screen is flashing looks like white/black colors)
So what do you mean we can flash other roms?
Come guys post links !
What recovery did you use? There's a user in the 5.1.1 rom thread who has had success using v2 TWRP in the same the ad. Really hope your wrong or using an old recovery, because I was looking forward to flashing that rom.

v2 recovery of cause.
I flashed stock rom via odin, flashed latest recovery via odin (v2 twrp)
Boot up the phone. After that restarted to recovery, full wiped, flashed that rom, flashes kernel.
Restarted. It's working until u will switch screen off.

I'm running that rom on my T-Mobile Edge with no issues, not sure what you could have done wrong.

Did u flashed on 5.1.1? Or on 5.0.2 ?
While on 5.0.2 would be the safest way to go, would be my best assumption, though I've tried neither yet. If you flashed while on 5.1.1, might be worth trying over 5.0.2 instead of waiting for others to reply and sitting idly! Just my $.02. :good:

Is not gonna work with 5.0.2....
Tested
Huh... So you haven't done over top of 5.1.1, then, I re-assume? Wouldn't have ever imagined that first... Might be worth trying 5.1.1, then if it doesn't work, we'll have to wait for the others. Hope you get it working, bud! :highfive:
