Stick the attached file on to your sdcard.
you can also do it from within rom manager by clicking flash clockwork mod.
why do you want to use rom manager to flash a rom?
you can just put the rom zip on to your sdcard, boot in to recovery
and flash from there.
Don't use ROM Manager - it's ****

Hi all,
I've flashed the ARHD 5.1.1 ROM today and all is working fine. I am now looking at flashing the CRT and Sense 3 lock-screen MODs onto my phone.
Am I correct in thinking I use the same procedure as I did for flashing the ARHD ROM using ROM Manager... where I would boot into recovery and select the *.zip from my SD card?
I've had a search around an I have been unable to find a definite answer.
Thanks in advance.

All extras listed here with meta-inf folder inside the .zip archive needs to be installed via Clockworkmod recovery!
So yes. Don't try flashing it at the same time as the ROM, always reboot first and then go back into recovery and flash addon.
Also, it's best to flash one at a time, I got a boot-loop once when I tried to flash a few of them at the same time
Happy flashing!
Hello
I probably have a beginner problem. I'm trying to flash a custom ROM via Odin but when I download a ROM like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/thunderrom800-galaxy-tab-s-10-5-t2840209 I only find a lot of folders but no .md5/.tar file that I need in order to flash it via Odin....
Where do I get the right file from?
That will be a zip file flashable through a custom recovery... No PC or Odin required.
Odin is for Samsung stock firmware's

Problem is I can't boot my device anymore, TWRP and Download Mode still working but anyway this means that I can't download anything on the tablet itself...
Just to make sure, when I want to install a custom ROM with TWRP or CWM I just need to put the zip on to the machine (don't even unzip it?) and I can flash it?
you can put a ROM in a micro sd card and flash with twrp

I just transferred the zip from my pc to the downloads folder on my tab s so when i boot into twrp and hit install, I just need to find it in my downloads folder and let it flash.
i tried to flash custom rom but it failed i need to restore the stock recovery.
the problem is that my phone has a problem in mini usb it doesnt work when i connect it to pc
is there a way to flash rom or recovery without pc
If you have a working custom recovery, you can try to convert the stock recovery to a zip and flash it that way. If you have a working ROM, you can try to use adb commands to push the recovery to the phone.
BTW, this is not the correct forum for your phone.

i dont have one i searched for one but i havnt find yet
if u can help me to find one and give me the instructions how to flash it
considering that usb socket doesnt work i cant connect it to computer
You can download the stock rom from sammobile.com, extract the recovery, convert to zip, and flash in recovery.
If flashing a rom failed, flashing stock recovery is not going to help because you need to flash a stock rom.
Did you search in the ace forum?

You would need a working custom recovery. You can put a rom into an sd card and flash in from custom recovery.
Hi.
I have a really complicated problem
So I'm on the Galaxy J2 Core and I've managed to make a TWRP recovery rom for the device.
So TWRP touch isn't responding, so I made a CWM recovery rom after trying a few different versions of TWRP.
The problem is, CWM can only use zip files, when all the custom roms I download are .img.
I can't use fastboot as it doesn't detect my device ("waiting for any device...") although adb does, and I haven't been able to find a working fix.
How would I go about converting the .img file to a .zip, fixing TWRP's touch problem or using fastboot???
This is kinda my last resort so any help would be appreciated
