I have a nokia X and rooted since june. It worked well until a few weeks ago. Now, every time the battery runs out, when i charge and try to turn it on, it freezes at the logo screen. The only way to turn it on is hard reset.
There is a solution to this problem? I'm trying to keep my cel charged, but is not always possible, and deleting all the things everytime de battery dies is not nice!
Thanks!

Good Afternoon,
Unfortunately my HTC Touch Pro2 stopped working... it turns on, shows "HTC Touch Pro2" and the ROM version info, then restarts.
The last time I installed a ROM was over 3 months ago... please tell me how to fix my phone, or where I should take it to get it fixed.
Thanks,
Alec Taylor
BTW: When I leave it plugged into power, it keeps trying to boot itself [restarting at the exact same point as before]

I seem to have the same problem, and it's been a week. I had posted a message in another thread in the CDMA rhodium forum. No solutions yet. By the way, I had tried everything, from flashing new rom, to hard reset, to new battery. Nothing worked.
Crossing my fingers...
Same thing happened to me and many others.
This fixes 99% of these related problems.
Take battery out for a few hours (6 hours), there is a chip on the battery that needs to be reset. Put battery back in the phone and DO NOT turn it on. Plug it into POWER and NOT USB for about 12 hours, give it a good charge. Remove the battery for 2 hours and put battery back in. Turn the phone on and it should be working.
The Chip on the (battery/that governs the battery) needs reseting.
the same thing just started happening to me today. what a pain in the a##. I using the new Energy Rom. Could the rom be the problem?
I did everthing like you said, but when i plug the device for recharge the battery the device turns on it self! Changing the battery you think it would help?
I have 2 TP2's and 4 batteries. I tried all 4 batteries on the one with the problem, all with the same results. None the less, I tried what you said, letting the battery drain and recharge, I even recharged with a separate battery charger.
Sad to say, none of that helped....
This is worse than bricking the thing....
Hey all, been running Cyanmobile 5.5 for a month or so now on my Evo and it's been working pretty well. However, last night it was kind of acting up then restarted itself and said "Cyanmobile X is upgrading." This has happened before, which is kind of weird to me as I didn't think I was running X, but it always boots up after a while, so I went to bed and let it go. When I woke up, however, the phone wouldn't wake up. I'm pretty sure the battery was around 80% so I seriously doubt it would have discharged that much overnight, and plugging it into a cable does nothing... I've tried pulling the battery as well as holding the power button. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks!
Update: After leaving the phone plugged in for about half an hour, I pulled the battery again and it seems to be booting... so I guess this time the battery was dead. I'm still confused why this happens at all though, as it'll randomly restart once every other day or so when I'm at nearly full battery and I'm not even running cyanmobile X.
Firstly I have to mention, that I don't regularly use my One X anymore, but I took it to Italy when I went there for holidays two weeks ago to use it as a hotspot for my HTC One and Macbook.
It was working just fine until 3 days ago, the day I flew home. During my last night the phone started rebooting every 10-20 minutes, until the battery was dead. Now that I'm back home I charged the phone and turned it back on, but it is still acting strange. I just put it on my table and realized the screen was turning on randomly and turning off again after the normal timeout. This happened again and again and after a few times the phone turned itself off and back on. This whole procedure happens over and over again in a loop.
Therefore I performed a hard reset, but the problem is still the same. Even if I turn the device off completely, it comes back to life automatically after just a few minutes. I have no idea what I should do with it, except waiting for the battery to die.
Has anyone had this problem before and knows how to fix it? I hope it's not a hardware defect, as I really like the One X as a backup phone.
Cheers,
Jake
Sounds like you need to change the power key + flex.
Hi all,
I have been looking around but i couldnt find a thread that fits my problem...
I used to have a lot of trouble with my batt.. so i bought a new (official) one and i bought a new official charger to be sure.
first 2 weeks went great.. couple days ago my phone became very laggy.. i had to wait a few seconds before i could type anything during whatsapp... And then i just shuts off.. and now it wouldnt even go past the Samsung Logo..
I did a hard reset and erased everything to factory settings.. It looked promising but when i unplug it.. the phone shuts off and it wont pass the samsung logo screen.
I maybe have been mistreating my battery badly for 3-4 days... but nothing really extraordinary (think about plugging out mid charge)
Can some one help me with this problem..?
Thanx a million!
From two days my HTC M8 doesnt work without charger. The phone worked perfectly until i started the camera and the phone immidiatly shutted down. When i tryed to start it again i see white screen with the HTC logo and after 1-2 second it shut down. When i put it on a charger the phone started but mu contacts and settings was losted. When the phone shutted down the battery was on 50%.I leaved the phone for 2 hours on charger and then i tried to work with it but after i unplug the phone he shut down almost immidiately.I tried hard reset but didnt helped. In boot menu i can stay and browse without charger but when its time to start the system its shutting down.
When the phone is on charger everything work fine.I tried ringtones, camera, navigation and everything is excelent. But only on charger....
You may need to replace your battery same thing happen to me a few months ago mines would say 98% with the charger in and unplug it and it blanks out right away.....i change battery and its fine now good luck
I hope to be a battery, because my friend told me it is battery or main board, and if its main board will be expensive or not repairable
i have the same problem, it started today. I changed my battery about 1 month ago, so I don't think its the battery. I did a factory reset now and I'm waiting to see if it fixes
edit:
it didnt work
On my phone it was a battery.Yesterday I fixed it in a repair center here.It was 35 Euro for all - Battery and changing.
The problem is either the battery or the charging system...they could both be replaced...I'll advice you let them test the charging system first...if it works fine then the problem is the battery...it's really rare for the battery to get busted..been using my m8 for 2yrs now and my battery is still good considering how long it's been in use..but let them check both just in case
