i have a really small spot , more visible when viewing white color
because of the bad support here in Egypt i can not go to LG repair center to ask for repair or replace
Any idea about the reason why this defect appeard on screen? And what technically it is?

only thing i can think of is cause my spot on my g2 is rite where the proscessor is thought maybe a heat spot or the heat maybe warped the screen and the light shines brighter through it but hey just a bored thought on it
Is this the oem screen? I have seen every single non oem replacement screen develop a white spot. It is in the backlight lens. I have not figured out what causes it though.
Both mine are

Can you guys check your phones to see if you experience this kind of problem ?
To be honest i dont know if this is an actual problem with the screen or it is the way G3 back lightning works.
To see if this is something your phone might experience all you have to do is go to any web page and on any white background increase the area to maximum so that you only have a few writing lines or none at all.Increasing the area has nothing to do with this issue but it helps in seeing the back lightning.
My pictures were taken at 60% and also on full brightness.
You can see that the lightning is very uneven .
For me this is quite annoying because the more time i spend on reading on a web page the lateral(left and right in landscape mode) edges and the subtly greyer areas on the screen become more obvious .
Once you see them you can't unsee them.
It would be much appreciated if you can post a few pictures(pictures not screenshots)

Do you have any comments based on the pictures i provided?

After LG repaired my motherboard, my camera and photos now have a shadowy blob on them. It's quite bothersome and I'm going to see if AT&T will replace it as instructed by a store employee.
So, yes, I'd opt to get my replaced if I were you.
Maybe it's something with the glass on the camera? Some scratches?
When I had HTC M8 I had to scrape off the protective layer of the glass because it took blury photos

I have a problem with the screen response using Spen. Sensitivity is very small, I have to press quite hard. I've already changed the tip of the stylus, unfortunately nothing has changed. Is it possible to raise the sensitivity as in earlier versions of Note?

Hi guys.
I have some hardware-related issues with my camera for 6 months now.
The main problem was that the camera was unfocused on the left side while trying to take distant photos (even while trying to do shoot something in Manual mode).
I've tried different camera apps (and ROMs) and had the same results.
Afterwards, I removed the back panel and while trying to clean up the camera lens, I accidentally pressed the camera a little and heard a small tick and then I concluded that the camera was somehow popped out. Then the focus reverted back to normal.
But this issue seems to reappear every few days, and it gets very annoying when you try to take a nice photo and see that the image will be blurred (since I don't take the screwdriver, sim removal tool and the case removal tool everywhere with me). In the end, it gets fixed if I apply the steps above, but this happened to often in the past weeks.
I don't have any warranty since I've bought the phone directly from China before it was officially available for the international market.
Since this seems to be a hardware related issue, I tried to contact 2 local services, but they didn't seem very reliable.
Afterwards I thought to replace the camera myself, but I don't seem to find anywhere only the camera component and a good tutorial how to replace it.
Do you perhaps know where to find some spare parts and how to replace them?
Or did somebody else had this issue and manage to find a workaround to fix it?
Thanks!
I also thought it was hardware issue in my case but after 3-4 MIUI updates it works as intended.

Did you have the same problem as me?
Well, I reverted in the past to a previous TWRP ROM backup from a date where I didn't have this issue and it was still present (I'm currently on xiaomi.eu for about 6 months now).
I have to press the internal camera (the black plastic region near the lenses https://i1.wp.com/www.xiaomitoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/mi-5s-teardown22.jpg ) to make it work again.
Hearing that click every time it gets fixed makes me think that is a mechanical issue somewhere inside, not a software one.
Also, my phone took a couple of falls, this could explain this misbehavior sometimes.
I didn't hear the click but in my case issue came back. Now I have it...

I have the same issue.
I shake the phone strongly back and forth until i hear camera lens move. Then it focusses.
Update.
After a while, some black spots appeared while taking photos and with the above mentioned issues, I concluded that dirt entered somehow between the camera lenses. (I think that was the reason why the camera couldn't focus well at distance).
I ordered a camera from aliexpress, replaced it, and now everything works fine.

hi, can you please provide me link of the camera module that you ordered in aliexpress ?
Hello everybody,
I hope one of you can help. I've noticed that whenever I photograph something direct into the sunlight, for example, I get an artifact in the picture. The artifact moves evenly depending on the angle I photograph.
Is this a defect from the camera or normal when you take pictures of such bright things? Have tried GCAM but there is the same problem. Normally one should be able to photograph "into the light" without getting such artefacts ?!
thanks
