I have a Nexus 7 (2012) that was rooted and unlocked with Nexus Tool Kit and I am trying to return it to stock 4.2.2 since 4.3 fails to install. However the program stops after entering fastboot and then stops without flashing the stock image.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
You are on the wrong forum. This one is for 2013 Nexus 7.

Is anyone going to make a flashable ROM of the stock 4.4.4 image for the LTE Nexus 7 ? I noticed there was never one for the 4.4.3 ROM either.

Google already did. Flashing it manually doesn't take any more time than flashing in recovery.

They did support it. You can either be patient or you can do it manually to avoid waiting.
A deodex stock ROM would be great. I don't have time nor build environment to make my own

Try using the Nexus root toolkit (NRT) by wugfresh it makes rooting the Nexus really easy.
