Hey all lollipop users , do you feel lag in g3 at 5.0.2
I have D850 and i feel like notification tray lags and app drawer lags while opening, i tried cloudy 2.5 and had the same issue while cloudy rom at my g2 works like a charm and my g4 have stock UX 4.0 which is charm too,
Is it a stock bug? or maybe my TWRP is not very fine or something?

My LG G3 is running the Unofficial Cyanogenmod 12 [D855] Lollipop rom and I'm missing some stock apps like the camera and the FM radio. Does anyone know if ported LG app's apk exist that will run on custom roms?

no there's no way atm, really annoying as the camera is important to use the laser focus which sucks hope a developer works on it soon (if not already)
@Whelan189 cheers, grrrr that means back to custom/stock it's for me. Shame as I love the rom I'm using at the moment

Hi, I just got the LG G3 D855 and i was so anoyed of the system lagg. Apps take "ages" to open an close even the homescreen crashes sometimes. So i put a custom ROM on it ( Resurrection Remix LP v5.4.3 ) and it worked perfektly! No laggs nothing. My only problem was i wasn't able to get QickCircle to work so i installed a different Rom (Cloudy G3). Now QuickCircle works again but the laggs are back...
Any suggestion for an Rom wich isn't based on the LG Stock Rom and supports QuickCircle?

Hi, you can use an AOSP based rom with a custom QuickCircle app that I start to developp. Go in G3 themes and apps and search for QCircleView and follow installation steps

So the whoooooole reason why I flashed Jasmine ROM was so I can have this beautiful Blacked Out Theme by Hello00, but its not compatible with VS985, so i did a bit of research and learned that I could flash Jasmine ROM v2.0 (D855) and have it work on my VS985 which then allowed me to download the compatible version of the Blacked Out theme for D855. Everthing was going perfect until a day later when I kept getting the error .com.android.phone has stopped every two seconds... of course I made a backup right after I had all my settings and everything just the way I wanted and restored it (still on Jasmine v2.0 and Blacked out UI) but then it happened again. I did a bit more reading, learning that this is a problem that is persistent on VS985 with a D855 Rom..... -__- My question is, is there a way I can make the D855 work without errors? I read that it was specifically the radio frequency of D855 that clashes with Verizons... does anyone know a fix for this???

Well I have my G3 for like 3 weeks now and it is very nice. First thing I did was rooting and downgrading aboot and after that installed CloudyG3. All is working good. Battery is good. Camera is like in stock. Didn't try any other ROMs but the ones that are not based on stock have poor camera (due to OEM libs and frameworks). What I did to Cloudy G3 is adjusted DPI to 530 (because stock 640 is HUGE). My advice is go for CloudyG3. Don't restore apps make clean flash and you should be good to go.

Welll, I have my g3 with cloudy since i bought it because of the stock camera. Besides, its a great rom with a great support from the community.
I need a copy of Kitkat R Remix Rom that I can download. I know it's an old Rom but my LG G3 D852 runs better (no screen fade) with Kitkat.
Can anyone help?

Screen fading and flickering,is hardware related.Only by heating the SOC with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes and adding pressure on it,will fix the problem.But for only about a week.
I've been running Kitkat carbon rom for a month now and it's running great. No crashes or fading under heavy use. I've experienced the hardware problems with this phone, but they have not happened since I went from MM to KK.
Maybe KK is not as demanding on the hardware (ie: doesn't run as hot).
I've always liked RR rom, but all Kitkat roms are disappearing quickly. I try keeping old Roms for my phones now just in case.
