Booting into Fastboot mode is different on the Huawei Watch than with the Moto 360 or the LG G Watch. For the Huawei Watch, perform the following steps:
1) Hold down the power button.
2) The screen will go black for about 2 seconds and then boot into the Huwaei logo. Keep holding down the power button.
3) Wait for the first vibration, release the power button and then immediately give the power button one short press.
If you feel the second vibration, you waited to long to do the release and press. Start over.
Hope this helps others. This took me way too long to figure out on my own.
Works great.

To be more exact, in Step 3) you should release button right AFTER the first vibration, not as soon as the vibration starts.
damn this is more complicated than on the lggwatchr :<
This just saved me. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for this. I was having palpitations after getting stuck in a bootloop with no response from the command line. You're a star!! :good:
how to exit
thanks to whoever can respond. im in the fastboot menu but how do i exit it ends up looping boot recovery.
my watch wont even power off when i hold the power button :/ it is stuck on the huawei logo
Thanks for this tip. Now I got to the fastboot menu. Now how do I flash a working image in to the watch? I have the Huawei image from Googles download page, but adb doesn't recognize the device.
Can't you just do "adb boot fastboot"?

Hey if your on fastboot adb no longer works unless you are sideloading. The new command is fastboot....like "fastboot flash system.img" Got it?
I am still not getting your point as how to change the language

Hi All, I have read quite a few threads to try and help me but seem to have bricked my phone.
I was in the process of flashing my phone to ARHD.
I got all the way through and now seem to be stuck at the HTC Quietly brilliant screen following a reboot from Recovery mode.
When I try and go back into fast boot or recovery it will not let me it just goes back to HTC quietly brilliant.
As I cant turn the phone off totally, What can I do to force it into fast boot,
The phone is a HTC_001 and was fully up to date with the stock SW b4 i started to play.
Just to confirm once again, phone will NOT boot into fastboot or recovery following a failed flash to ARHD and phone is stuck on quietly brilliant screen.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
to enter fastboot, hold power for like 10-15s causing phone to force restart....then once screen is completely black, release power and press and hold volume down until u see bootloader screen....then enter fastboot...
have u made a backup of ur stock rom before experimenting???
seems like u have not flashed the boot.img in fastboot....
give some details...
Hi mihirengg19
Tried that but just shakes and goes back to the quietly brilliant screen and to your other questions NO and NO
Any more idea's apart from using a sledge hammer ? lol
just try again....now hold (power+vol down)....or repeat what i said above...
hi again mihirengg19
Ok holding power and vol - down together.
after a few seconds the soft buttons flash, screen goes black
I release the power button. Phone Vibrates I release vol - and HTC Quietly brilliant comes back onto the screen. tried this about 30+ times now always same result.
u must be doing something wrong....u should be able to enter into bootloader...

I know, this is what is worrying me, at the current rate the battery will be flat in no time as the screen is on max brightness, is it best to leave it go flat so it turns off completely ?
just tried it another 2 times now, still the same. ? holding down the VOL - (bottom rocker button) still locked on the HTC screen
u can try this-when the phone drains down, plug it into the wall. see if the recovery screen appears...
Did you try via PC and command "adb reboot bootloader" ?

Keep volume down held down.
Which ARHD are you trying to install, 16? Did you update your bootloader to 1.3x?

ok, Hold power down only for 10 seconds, keep holding until the buttons flash and the screen goes black, then release power and immediately hold power down the phone should then boot into fastboot mode
I would also suggest 'adb reboot recovery' from command Prompt while stuck.. Or 'adb reboot bootloader' followed by 'fastboot erase cache'. Maybe reflash boot.img and erase cache again...

Not sure if this will help at all, but in this post you said when the screen goes black you released the power button. Maybe try and hold both buttons down for about 30 seconds to be safe, and if the bootloader still doesn't show up, I don't really know what else to suggest.

SOrry this is a bit late, but i had the same problem and I fixed it after loads of errors.
Just remove your sim card and hold volume down and power till it goes into bootloader!

A bit late.....yeah about 4 months LMFAO !
I was in recovery and suddenly my phone died while i was installing Cyanogenmod 10.1.
Then i tried to charge the battery and boot into fastboot by holding +/- volume and power buuton, but the phone would just boot normally.
The installation of Cyanogenmod 10.1 had not completed, so i was stuck at the Google sign.
Is there a way to get into fastboot-download mode or in recovery?

Hold volume up and volume down, and then press and hold power.

why i cant go to fastboot? i hold the volume down button and turn on the device but nothing happens. i did it a couple of times but nothing happens.
is there a possibility that the bootloader is locked? but i did many search about that but i found nothing
fastboot
im pretty sure you have to turn fastboot OFF in settings. otherwise you have to take the battery out everytime you want to boot into fastboot mode. i just restart my phone with fastboot turned off and hold volume down untill you see the boot animation.

First of all your phone has to be rooted....then install the following app from playstore ,it will give you freedom to directly reboot in recovery mode and also an option for fast reboot or boot in bootloader or fast switch off
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.siriusapplications.quickboot&hl=en
Hit thanks button if i helped you.

Sorry for my bad english and thanks you
If you have ADB access, you can run:
adb reboot recovery
After that you could reinstall using ADB sideload and this file : http://ota-service.oss.fc811.com/upl...&sn=L123456789
My N1 won't give me adb access, so I'm in a worse state than you

Thanks for mentioning. I have tried with volume down + power hundreds of times and my device refuses to go into bootloader. =/
I'm sure I could unbrick the same way you were able to, if i could just get into bootloader one time!

I had some trouble booting straight to the bootloader as well.
I don't know if this helps but anyway: After you power off the device, press and hold the power and vol- buttons. When you see the "Powered by Android" logo, let go of the power button but keep holding the vol- button. The tablet should boot into bootloader mode. I initially made the mistake of holding both buttons the whole time.

Hi,
I have a bootloop issue (I was using LOS official and it crashed when I answered a call) and when I try booting in recovery mode it just starts normally.
I do the Power + Vol down until I see the LG logo then release both for a short time and hold them again but it starts the LOS bootanimation..
What I am doing wrong ?

The G4 has a really stupid way of entering the recovery. I couldn't get in for a while too. Try again making sure you are actually pressing the buttons together at the same time. That means having just one click. They have to be clicked down at the exact same time.
Also, the instructions you've seen (first Google result) may not be the best. This is what I do WITH a custom recovery (TWRP).
1. Power off completely
2. Holding power and volume down at the exact same time until the lg logo appears.
3. Continue holding the volume down button but release the power button for a second.
4. Press and hold power and volume down again.
5. When asked if you want to wipe the device, select yes. This won't wipe the device but will take you to TWRP (if you installed it). Otherwise, it wipes the device.

Same Issue here, I was on Genisys opened whatsapp cuause I had a new message and phone rebooted.
after that it just stay on LG logo.
I followed your steps and got to the option of factory reset but after I hit ok with the power button phone just reboots back to the LG logo.
I think mine is the genuine bootloop issue.

If you don't remember doing anything that might have caused this, then it may be the LG G4 bootloop bug.
I'd put the phone in a zip lock back, in the freezer overnight and then back up all my data as quickly as possible. You're phone may be dead.

I'm sure I've bricked it while flashing LOS (regular dirty flash of new weekly like i do nearly every week), this time just went something wrong...
As far as I can tell from some YT videos my reboot pattern is different from regular G4 bootloop
Thx for your replies, I managed to revive my phone after whole day of tinkering. Had to overcome some issues so I've posted the solution: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73539738&postcount=1

This actually worked!!!!....The 1 Second is crucial in the process, I did it on my first try after reading post
I did the procedure but it went to a page that said clear your phone or not! Just it, and there is no option to clean cache partition or any other
