Test kernel for F240k - LG Optimus G Pro

Hi all. I extracted this boot.img from CM 12.1 20151011 for F240k. It is Jolla Kernel 4.1 (credit @Genie's).
I flashed it to VANIR 100915 build for E980. Problem is the battery level in my phone shows 3-4%, even though the level is actually at 90+%.
So I want to ask people interested to try this kernel on any CM 12.1 based ROM, which is built around 100515 and up.
Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8gLRmRjr90aZVFBTWlldXZlYUU/view?usp=sharing
Thanks.

Cyanogenmod 12 Official Nightly Modem

Hi All
Before i take plunge into Cyanogenmod 12 can anyone tell me if the official Cyanogenmod 12 Nightly supports the v10L 4.4.2 Modem for D855?
Or do i need to flash the Lollipop V20F modem to ensure compatability?
Thanks

Hi there.
I am on cyanogenmod 12.
No you don't need to flash a Lollipop modem.
Everything is taken into consideration by cyanogenmod. You must not worry about those details.
Just flash and enjoy.

[Q][Upgrade to Cm12] Best stock firmware before ?

Hi
I ve done a downgrade on my new LG G PAD (it was under 4.4.2 when i received it) to v10a stock firmware
Now i m in 4.2.2 with v10a firmware and i ve just intalled TWRP 2.6.3.2.
My question is :
- Can i install CM 12 directly from this situation or should install the v20c firmware first (last firmware before loki aware bootloarder) ?
I think that with 20c firmware some components will be updated and will offer a better experience when i will be on CM 12, but i m not sure !
Thx
Auto response :
I flashed V50020b stock rom after my CM12 rom and returned to a fresh new CM12.
Result : better wifi connection and no screen dimming (or less).
Regards,

LG G2 Bootstacks

Hello all,
Now that official CM12.1 (and other ROMs) builds based on the new lollipop kernel and blobs are running, it's time I post these here. These are bootstacks with the latest images from G2 lollipop builds that are REQUIRED to run these new builds. I have added asserts to the CM builds and you will not be allowed to flash the builds unless you are on 4.4.2 or 5.0.x bootstacks. The 4.4.2 ones will work (if you ever took the 4.4.2 OTA, you have these) HOWEVER, the 5.0.x ones are more stable and the 4.4.2 modem has a tendency to crash. While it is recommended to restore to stock and update to lollipop, some users (myself included) would rather flash a bootstack. So here are mine that have been sitting on GitHub since May.
NOTICE: The KitKat bootloader will only work with bump, while the Jellybean bootloader will work with both Bump and Loki.

Enjoy.

Hey, according to lg Korea (responsible for manufacturing the d803 and responsible for lollipop ota) the d803 won't be getting lollipop, same answer from lg Canada. Is the d803 good on 4.4.2 boot loader? Thanks
Thank you for these You have been helping us all out a lot for the G2

Quick question, I have a D801, I flashed I believe it was drgravy's Bumped LP bootstack, he has the same file title, but the sha1 does not match. Does your file have updates or should I stick with what I have?

They were the same a few hours ago, until I updated mine. I added asserts so you can't flash another variants bootstack on your device. For example, the d802 one will ONLY flash on the d802, it'll error out on the other variants. Just an added layer of security so no one tries something stupid
Nice thanks!
Drgravy did not have a KK bootloader in his bootstacks.
Any idea what the difference is with the bootstacks from Daniel Stuart?

I had mine first, he just repackaged them. Which I don't particularly care about since these images aren't my property in the first place, they're LG's.
@Rashed97 - thanks for your work on the d803. Creating a bootstack inspite of no official release by LG Canada, was pure genius!
Who is the official maintainer for the D803 tree on CM ?
Also, earlier I *think* I saw that you used a patched D800 bootloader for the D803. I am running a CM12.1 ROM built by zr239 based on that tree with full CAF for D803. I have everything working including skype, etc.
if we install the new ROMs from www.cmxlog.com/12.1/d803, will that be a better or a worse experience ?

It'll be the same since he was building his builds from my sources, which are now the official CM sources

When flashing D802 LP Bump bootstack script says
KK Bootloader flashing...
LP Bootloader flashed.

Is there a mistake ?

No, it's the KK bootloader, I just made a mistake in the text it prints. Means nothing.
What about D805/6?
I think they share same stacks and bootloader as d802 the difference is the modem/baseband
Problem is they don't have official LP yet.

[Q] Is it possible to install an H815 Marshmallow ROM on the H811?

Title says it all.
Just install Genisys 3.7. Marshmallow, stock based, awesome! For your H811 you'll also need to install the MM patch, and I'd highly recommend installing a custom kernel. I'm pretty sure the only kernel that's working good for H811 on 6.0 is SuperXe 1.7.
And imperium kernel works on 6.0 h811 as well

Cool. I'm on stock 6.0 right now and will flash that and try it next Wednesday. Do you think the H811 will see any 6.0 AOSP roms when it gets official cm13 support?
