Does anyone know if there is an android game controller out, that works with the fire stick/tv. I have a had a look but quite possibly haven overlooked one!
I know amazon have the official app, which I use and it got me thinking that a controller could be possible? I personally only need a basic one for playing emulators...anyone?

I haven't seen clear evidence either way, I would really like to use either a sixaxis or wiimote to play my games. Hope someone can clear this up for me.
The only one that may have it is CM7. I have it installed and will check tonight.

Just checked, and it does work with cm7

That is fantastic news. Thanks!
Yeah, I. Needed the BT L2CAP support for my watch to work and CM7 is the only ROM that has it. I may have to get a sixaxis just to use for playing games on my E4GT.

the siaxxis app for the controllers works good, you just have to root it and you can use your ps3 controller. If your interested in using that. I had it for 2 months and im pretty happy with it.
Im on stock everything pretty much
Touch screen controls annoy me so I am looking into one for my phone anyone know of any?

A PS3 controller. You need to use an app to make it work though.

Which ones?

You can use a PS3 controller if you have root I believe and the app to make it work is called "SixAxis" on the android market.
You can also visit your local gametstop and pick up the Android Bluetooth Controler. Heres the link of the one I bought http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/tablet-wireless-bluetooth-controller/97838 Works decent and great for the emulator apps such as n64oid and gensoid ect....
Would a stick on type analog joystick be out the scope of options here?

I was considering this prior to finding this tread.
I use a Sixaxis PS3 controller. Everything else seems simply uncivilized.
If I could find a way to get a fightstick working on it, that would be even better.
Hey guys I just made this tutorial on Sixaxis. I'm going to continue updating with how to edit keymapping for all the different games like MC4, Dead Trigger, and more.

Will my six axis controller work back with my ps3?is it just a matter of repairing it with the ps3 after I'm done each time or the setting are saved and it's just a one time thing?

You have to re-pair it with the ps3 again by plugging it in.

I'm going to have to re-pair it between my Nexus 4 and my tablet every time I switch, won't I?
It makes sense, it's just annoying. Especially because I keep my games in sync using DataSync+.

I know this thread has been done for like a month but I have an urgent question.
Everytime I try to pair my N4 with m ps3 sixaxis dualshock it says
"
Attempting Connection type 1...
Driver Starting...
Could not start driver. Check that the driver has been given permission to run by the superuser app.
Attempting to close server...
restoring previous bluetooth state...
Disconnected
"
I rooted my phone months ago, I have made the supersu app grant all superuser permissions and still nothing.
Can someone please help me?

lol are you chewing gum in the vid?
Ive also been wondering if non sony controllers will work but I dont think they will cause the sony dualshock ones use bluetooth built in to the controller and a lot of the cheap ones I've seen have their own usb reciever over a diff wireless frequency. like a usb you plug into the ps3 to make it wireless. Don't think those will work.
Just wanted to say that Dead Trigger (and some more games like GTA:VC) have native controller support and you don't have to edit the key mapping (but you can do it if you want to change something).
I have setups that fill well to Real Racing 3 and PewPew if anybody is interested.

DEAD TRIGGER

Sixaxais Controller can work natively. I was able to get Dead Trigger, Shadowrun to work fine when I synce using a OTG USB cable.
Same.

Max Pain . Dead Trigger . Shadowgun .
So far these are the only FPS that work natively with Gamepad. GTA 3/Vice City work as well. But not my type of game play.

What are you guys using for a controller? PS3 or something else?

Yes. That's what the Sixaxais Controller app is designed to use.
I've tried using OnLive's Universal Controller. It's got the HID protocal, but something is different enough it doesn't work outside of OnLive's app. Dead Trigger, Shadowrun Deadzone and Shadowrun recongized it as gamepad. Unfortunately, only the left analog stick worked, partly. Coudn't set any bottons; it just goes to one command. Coudn't get out of the settings menu either. Too bad. I like the feel of the OnLive controller of the PS3.
dosen't beach buggy also support it natively?
Here's a bigger list of games that are compatible with the Sixaxis PS3 controllers.

I figured that since I am getting the controller for the Fire TV it would be pretty cool if I could play some emulators on my PC. Has anyone tried it?

I just tried on my Mac running mavericks. (2012mbp) It synced great, but my mouse ran to the bottom left corner perpetually, it was difficult to stop until I remembered the controller's got batteries. Syncs with windows 8 and works great on "The wonderful end of the world", no obvious problems.
Tried a second time on the mac, and same result. You can fight the cursor's down/left drag with the left stick, but it's terribly unusable.
So I went ahead and bought it anyway. Works great in PCSX2. Windows 7.
