is there a guide how to get 4.4.4 theme engine on 4.4.2 ROM's. I tried replacing the secthemechooser from a 4.4.4 based ROM but it still does not pick up the 4.4.4 based themes.

no problem as such but i have many more better themes compatible with 4.4.4 which i would prefer to use in 4.4.2. I can port all of these themes to work on 4.4.2 but it will take time to convert each theme. So, was looking at the option of making the 4.4.2 ROm pick up 4.4.4 based theme instead of 4.4.2....

Which ROM you are talking about ??... Once you root your device and Install any ROM you will not get any Official Updates From Samsung since your device status will be custom....But if you install this ROM based on 4.4 KK you will get the Tast of original KitKat 4.4 taste which Nexus and Other device have Not fully pure but almost near to it ....
I dont think were gonna get update kitkat if you use stock rom

THIS ROM PROJECT IS DISCONTINUED. He did actually but a little different one. [ROM][WIP][PORT] CyanogenMod 11 M8 4.4.4 [BETA]
You can add S5 themes and animation

Not only that but the new ROM that he released is much more stable since it incorporates the 4.4.4 release along with CM. Highly highly recommend it if you're planning on upgrading for Nokia X .

Can u provide the link or some screan shots of s5 theme or boot animation.. And can i make my notification pannel with this rom just like samsung touch wiz ...
My Glaxy Grand is running on version 4.1.2. I have already rooted that. May I know install any ROM build on 4.4 or 4.3 ?

To flash most of the custom ROMS u need to be on 4.2.2 (i.e. to upgrade boot loader).
1. First upgrade to 4.2.2 preferably ...MK3 version,
2. Take nandroid backup and then experiment with custom ROMS until u choose the desired one.
Can any skilled and insterested dev port some s5's lollipop xml and theme properly 4.4.4 s3 framework and system ui ? I guess many people share my same request am I right ? And let's anyway hope for note 2 lollipop

For theme i had already ported s6 theme check in themes and apps section for system ui i tried from lollipop which was made for s4 it failed everytime.ŕ

I think it just comes lollipop for galaxy s3 Korean you can bring the lollipop for s3 gti9300

Interesting and also imposible , S3 have another type of hardware , software can't be ported , only the app's addapted to 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 , The note 2 Lollipop has been allready Official Canceled ! . End of life for us on 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 ROM's for custom install , and 4.3 for the official .
Yeah,too sad,and as I suspected my port failed,and as well Samsung ****s too much,forcing us to buy new devices...

Unfortunately, there needs to be a touchwiz base for the device to make a custom rom from. So the only touchwiz custom roms for the i9195 are 4.4.2 kitkat or earlier.
Also it is nearly impossible to port a touchwiz rom from a different device unless they have very similar hardware

No i mean custom roms like V-rom ; Hopelite ....etc
If your looking for touchwiz UI just get a CM based Rom and get any old touchwiz theme off the playstore but if you want the awful fork of android that is touchwiz then no there is no MM version for the S4 mini
isn't there anything like SuperMan nor Electron Team for i9195?!?

if useful I found the following, google "Update Galaxy S4 Mini to Android 5.1.1 S6 Mini Lollipop Custom Firmware (by Saad Khan) ".
I tried to install it via CWM but haven't succeeded yet... let me know if anyone does in the meantime.
the other one I found is googling "Update Galaxy S4 Mini (All Variants) to Android 5.0 S5 Mini Lollipop Custom ROM (by adityapal, senior XDA member)"

I've already tested those roms but they have several issues like white text , recents , ............................. so i removed them and reinstalled the stock rom again

so in your experience they aren't reliable, are they...?!? I only found the first by Saad Khan, for the second one (adityapal/adizmayazal) I get a download error.

i'd say it's better to keep the stock rom than installing those custom roms with those annoying bugs

such a shame a 1.5 y/o device is till at 4.4.2... at least 5.0.1!
the matter is that I really feel comfortable and love some touchwiz features...

It's more like 3.5 years old, released middle of 2013.
Unfortunately, old devices like this one you can have old touchwiz or newer custom roms. Luckily we still have a really good group of developers even now working on android 7.1.1

That's the S4 mini plus (i9195l)
I think it is possible to port TW LP to S4 mini. S3 neo and Grand 2 also had LP port from S5 mini(check motion rom on xda). And Grand 2 and S3 neo are about to get TW MM as well as S5 mini got update recently its WIP.
I don't own this device nor do i have much experience of port TW but if i get to know a device close to S4 mini and TW LP &/or MM updates available then please tell me
So please LMK if there is a device close to S4 mini
