How is the gaming performance of the Xperia M5? Specifically Contest of champions? I really like the device and am planning to buy it but i play contest a lot and its a heavy game. If anyone could test it out on the M5, id be very grateful.
Gaming perfomance is good.
~30-40 FPS on Asphalt 8
~40-60 FPS on This War Of Mine
~30-40 FPS on VainGlory. But game work on 1280x720
Later I test gaming perfomance on Wot Blitz.

Gaming performance is good bro, i have Real Racing 3 and GTA San Andreas, and it runs very well without any frame skip or lag, and i havent encountered any heating issues till now. Battery drain while on any game is more, for all phones, not just T2 ultra, but relatively, it lasts longer.

Hi Guys am about to drop my older device Galaxy S2 and consider buying a brand new LG G3
but am a bit worry about the performance in real life because of the big screen and the 2K resolution and the heavy software skin
i watch several youtube videos but none of them give me a good idea about the performance
so can you plz help me is there lot of lags that lead to a bad experience or it's just from time to time
i also want to know about gaming is the experience smooth or not

On latest firmwares - from time to time
Heavy 3d games - like, Real Racing 3 or GTA san andreas - are unplayable.
P.S. I still use my old s3 from time to time

Well, not "unplayable" in usual sense. Thing is, this phone tends to overheat and slow down, and that causes FPS in GTA:SA and RR3 to drop to 20 or so -> which is far from smooth, but still playable.
And yeah, 2k resoltion is a bit too much for 330.

Hi everyone I need some help about gaming on my new phone. I was checking some gameplay videos from HTC M9 running Ravensword Shadowlands and it runs great but on my M9 I can feel the stuttering a lot. Many other games like Gangstar Vegas have some stutter and I'm afraid that it might be the problem with my phone. I made sure no background apps were running and that power saver was turned off. Can someone help me? Or tell me if those games are just not optimized well? Is there some app that can test my phone processor and graphic if it's ok? Thanks in advance
As for Ravensword Shadowlands It already stated that its optimized for Nvidia Tegra 3. Gangstar Vegas i'm not really sure but games like UNKILLED and Godfire have very smooth gameplay experience.

Moto G5 plus and Mi Note 4 both with the same Snapdragon 625 processor supports the game Bully Anniversary Edition in Playstore but our Z Play doesn't supports it and give a lot of lags if downloaded and installed from somewhere else.
On the other hand Mi note 4 and G5 plus runs the games very smoothly with more Higher graphics and Z Play lags in lower graphics of that game also.
Also, Many sites says that if you are a gamer then this phone is not for you.
But i haven't faced any lags while playing Highly graphics intensive games like Asphalt 8, Xtreme, Dead trigger,and many more.(Except Bully)
So why is it so?
If you root your device it probably won't have any issues. Just tweak your governor. The z play has the settings more on the conservative side. That's why the battery life is a lot better. The only game I play I use on mobile is nbalive and it doesn't have any issues lol.
Games are very laggy and not smooth especially in call of duty and pubg . my old sony xz1 with snapdragon 835 run these games so much smoother !! Why?
