OK, so I have a P605v (locked bootloader) with Android 4.4.2 that is rooted using Towelroot.
Installed SuperSU from the Play Store and it works, but always asks to update binaries. Since it's stock recovery, it can't do so. Anyone know of a way to update them with the stock recovery?

Download the latest version of SuperSU from http://download.chainfire.eu/448/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r5.zip .
Unzip it on your PC and then look for the superuser.apk file in the common directory. Copy it across to your tablet and then run it.
It should let you update the binaries - just use the standard method. You may need to reboot a couple of times.
Hello,
I'm currently running a rooted HTC One (m8) with a stock recovery and stock sense 6. I simply booted into TWRP using the fastboot commands to flash the SuperSU .zip file. I am currently running SuperSU version 1.94 and I noticed there was an update to SuperSU version 2.0.
Is it ok to update to the latest SuperSU app? I'm not very familiar with SuperSU and I don't know if the updated SuperSU changes anything for root binaries.
I figured I should ask before I just go ahead and update the app.
Thank you for your help.

It's perfectly fine to go ahead and update to it, I myself haven't noticed a difference and i've ran both versions for unspecified extended periods of time with no problems.

Thank you. I was really asking is it ok to update the app through the google play store or if I should flash the zip file in TWRP recovery. I went ahead and played it safe and flashed the V 2.01 SuperSU app. Everything appears to be working properly right now.
Thanks for the help.
It'll be fine letting it update itself through the store

After Updating my Android System to Lollipop 5.2 , i Decided to Root My HTC DESIRE 816 SINGLE SIM INTERNATIONAL MOBILE ... All the process is fine, except one thing :-
When i open SuperSU App , it says :- " There is no SU binary installed , and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem. If you just upgraded to android 5.0, You need to manually re-root- Consult the relevant to forums for your device!"
WHAT SHOULD I DO ???
I have the same problem!
What we have to do?
Flash the Beta SuperSU 2.48 (use Google Search) in TWRP recovery then use BusyBox on Rails(find in Play Store) to install busybox to system/xbin.
i getting this on Supersu
there is no SU binary installed and Supersu cannot install it. this is a problem!
if you just upgraded to android 5.0 you need to manually re root consult the relevant forum for your device!

I had absolutely no problems with root and ARHD 50.2. Flash it again, and DON'T flash SuperSU when twrp ask for it.
If it's still give problems, just flash latest SuperSU for MM and it should work without problems.
