I recently tried pairing a BT mouse with my Nexus 7 only to find that while it pairs pretty normally, I don't get a cursor or anything else. It connects, but that's it.
I tried the same mouse with my Galaxy S6 and it works perfectly.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Found the answer...it's this specific mouse (MS Arc). The MS wedge mouse works just fine.

Thanks, but... it doesn't seem to work

What to do? Thanks...
Guys, I have the mouse Logitech M125 and when I connect it to the Note(via otg) a problem occurs. In the notification bar it says "mouse connected" and the mouse itself is powered(the red thingy on the bottom shines).
HOWEVER, there is NO cursor on the screen. This doesn't happen with my Lenovo mouse.
Does anybody know how to fix that? Are all Logitech mice not working on the Note?
I'm having the same problem with Logitech MX revolution mouse. My note tries to pair with it and thats about it...
I have the same PROBLEM. but i test Microsoft Wireless mouse 4000 work well.
i have tried 3 logitech mouses and none of them worked. i tested 2 microsoft mouses and 1 a4tech and all of them worked.

Hi there,
I have a Bluetooth mouse which worked fine with my Galaxy Nexus on Android 4.0.4.
Since I updated (using the OTA update) to Jelly Bean, the mouse doesn't work properly anymore: I can pair the mouse and the phone, and I even see a pointer on the phone's screen. What doesn't work is moving the pointer/cursor. What works is clicking (triggers actions), and scrolling using the scroll wheel.
I tried to pair the mouse with another device (laptop), where it works fine (so I guess the mouse is not broken). Also, I connected an USB mouse to the Galaxy Nexus (using an USB host cable), which also worked fine.
Also, I tried to unpair the phone and the mouse, rebooted, and re-paired, which didn't help. I never could get the cursor to move.
So does anyone have the same problem? Does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Bob.
I have just got a bluetooth mouse tecknet BM306 and it connects to my tablet OK, however the mouse pointer is jerky and jumpy, impossible to use. The buttons and the mouse wheel work fine.
I have tried the same mouse on my laptop and it works perfectly. It did install some drivers when it first connected. On the tablet however it does not install any drivers so am not sure if I would need some different/better bluetooth drivers for it.
Can anyone hep or shoudl I return it?
You cannot install drivers on an tablet, you are at the mercy of compatibility on Samsung`s wifi/bluetooth tranceiver does your mouse still jump around when the wifi is off, as wifi and bluetooth operate on the same frequency.
I have an Hama M2140 bluetooth mouse and it works great with my T800 with the wifi running at the same time and it is small an relatively cheap.
John.
Turning the wireless off had no effect.
I had another mouse (MEMTEQ) which worked OK until it died. This mouse is the replacement .
I will look to buy another mouse or maybe I can download a more recent bluetooth driver and install it? My tablet is rooted so I could do it if I had the necessary driver and instructions.
You cannot install a driver on an android tablet, you must be having some compatibility problem. Try another brand of mouse.
John
Yep I fully agree with Tinderbox its the mouse or the tablet one of them is not compatible
Thank you guys, I will buy (yet) another mouse. This will be number 3!
Logitech makes good gear.
John.

I really want to use the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse (https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/products/mice/arc-touch-mouse/rvf-00052) with the Tab S2. it just folds flat and can be slipped into the pocket. I could pair it easily with the Tab S2 but this is where the problem starts. The Tab S2 recognizes it as an input device of the type "Keyboard" and not a mouse. It however works great with the other Microsoft Designer Mouse but somehow doesn't recognize the Arc Touch mouse.

I have the same set up. For me the mouse only pairs by holding down the Bluetooth button for several seconds. Then it connects but does not function. No cursor etc

Did anyone manage to get a workaround for this? I am desperate to get this working with my note 4. I have a foldable MS keyboard which pairs no probs and this mouse would make my mobile office (along with Citrix receiver and win 10 vms) complete. Any ideas?
