[Q] /Sdcard/Android folder

Anyone seeing two Data folders in their android folder on the sdcard. One is labeled "data" other one is "Data". only see this viewing the folder on the phone via root explorer. seems that there are files used by the system in both folders.

Confused by file system

When I plug my phone into my PC I can see a file on my SD card called 'Android' with my game data.
But when I open ES File explorer on my phone there is another file called 'android' (small 'a') which appears empty, but I can't delete it.
When I go up to root /data/media I can see what looks like my SD card with the 'Android' and 'android' folders but there appear to be duplicate files while others are missing or moved.
I think after flashing new kernels this week there are duplicate files being created. I often have to re-download game data after flashing a kernel and I seem to be losing a lot of SD memory.
I just want to know which folders should I delete?
Using superuser permission should allow you to delete the "android" folder or file. If ES Explorer don't work, try Root Explorer or do it in adb if you know how.
In linux file systems, A and a can be two different files or folders.
Or you can reflash google factory image and that will wipe the entire internal storage.
Thanks.
I managed to delete both the Android folders.
Had to re-download all my game data but I've ended up with about 3 gig more memory.

How to delete .dat files

Im running ARHD 34 Lollipop and have some .dat files on the internal sd card.
It's mostly "leftovers" from deleted apps, e.g. TomTom navigation, where there is a Tomtom folder with a "currentmap.dat" file, so i can't delte the folder.
If i browse the phone storage from my PC i can delete folder, but it's back after reboot.
And if i open the folder i can't wiew the .dat files.
Does anybody know how to delete the .dat files?

Can´t delete or write files in sdcard/download

Hi guys, I can´t delete or copy new files in sdcard/download.
For example when I delete a picture in DCIM it works.
I´m rooted and installed ES File Explorer, activated the root explorer and checked the permissions. It says RW right for the download folder.
Any ideas?
Thanks..
ROM? Kernel?
