When can get miui v6?????

Here we are on the XDA forum NOT MIUI. Please make ETA question there.

In the end of the year !

I think is more important when Xiaomi release kernel source of Redmi 1S.

Xiaomi modifies their kernels a lot, so it's so difficult without original sources.

Kra1o5, yes, they've done it, cause i've tried to get it with M1cha and we didn't get anything b/c they modified it so much..

MI2S can use kernel of mako with one driver added & with one change on defconfig.

I am very glad that I could convince you, the devs, to make a try. I think is better to look at display power management which is the worst part and to make possible voltage selector because I think that at ~1.6GHz the processor voltage is too high and of course an interactive or interactivex is a better governor. Do you guys really think that the issues like heating & lagging will be fixed if we get a custom kernel?

Xiaomi should have already published the sources. The way the company behaves about publishing the code is irrelevant.

I have spammed almost all MI's fb page posts.. But still not a single reply to any post.. -_-
Even MTK have started giving sources.. Only our device lags in terms of kernel management due to lack of kernel source.. :/
Just hope, Xiaomi really would release kernel source..

Today the PA team released PA 7.1.2,
can Some1 port it to the mi max ?
I have used it on my mi max, the rom is amazing .

I'm in no way rushing or asking about ETA. Just wondering if there's progress made? Since we don't have dedicated forum for 5A...
Just got phone couple weeks ago. Really like it - hardware wise. But nit really fun of MIUI - it's agressivly kills all my apps like VoIP app, weather etc...

I don't have the phone yet it's on its way but I'm sure putting the rom through a kitchen on a PC you could deodex it and go gapps-less.
I'll do a bit of experimenting when I have it in a couple weeks and maybe by then microg will have an update to support q

Why would anyone not build custom roms for this fantastic portable device? It's a no. 1 bestseller in amazon.in currently. Just needs to be patient for now.

For that reason exactly. You expect someone to build but remember that devs don't get paid to do this it's just a hobby so don't expect anything.
Any piece of free firmware you get is just a nice bonus.
People have this sense of entitlement here and expect everything to be done for them.
I myself have thought about building something for this device but might just make personal builds

You are right. People do not realise how hard devs have to work to mod and test firmwares. People just demand. I am gonna be patient and wait, hoping if some hobbyist devs who have a lot of time to play with their Mi A3s finally brings out something good for free. You also already have Android One out of the box so why worry? There is already a functioning TWRP and root. All is good already. But hey, please share your personal build with us if you are thinking to start modding for this device, by the way.

is there an official thread on other forums (or even here) for the beastrom 2.0 (android 10 based)... would like to see the development.
