Please guide me so that I can change fonts on my lollipop 5.1.1 updated xperia T2 ultra dual (d5322) fully rooted and dual recovery installed.
I've changed fonts earlier in GB, JB and kitkat by pushing fonts to device manually/ by help of font changer apps. But as lollipop uses some different kind of resource management ART, I don't want to mess up things. Kindly assist..

Q : I have D5322 too , Did you root the phone after flashing 5.1.1 ftf via flashtool or you just flashed a flashable prerooted rom using recovery ?
I used I font and it worked great.
They are flashable zips but always worried how to revert to stock fonts back. Anyways thanks for replying

I have newly bought moto e 2 weeks ago so i haven't rooted my device Though
So i didn't downloaded the deodex rom yet
But i need some deodex stuff from stock deodex 4.4.4 to work on as i want to do some theming
Here is the list of stuff that i need
- deodex settings.apk
- superuser mod (patched services.jar to bypass signature check)
- deodex systemui
- and a tester as i won't be able to test them
I already have framework-res.apk as it don't have any odex file

Procedure to install.
1.just download the zip
2.boot into recovery
3.simply flash the zip
4.reboot
5.do a complete backup before flashing.if u want to revert back in future.

We all know that our device T2 ultra will not receive Android 6 update, as said by sony.. till today at-least..
& Android 5.x.x on our devices dont support xposed..
As rovo89 stated that these files boot.oat &/or services.odex of our device has some issues with xposed..
That is why xposed bootloops on our device(s) with android 5.x.x, as sony mobile gave us corrupt rom / files maybe.
So, I was thinking if we all T2 Ultra users unite & open topic in sony forum for requesting them to fix boot.oat & services.odex file or corrupt ROM... So, they will notice us & if they fix the problem.. atleast we can have xposed working properly on our T2 ultra with android 5.x.x
what do you guys say? hope i wrote everything properly..

So port another rom over this is how we have had to get round the same problem on m2 5.1. Z1 framework has been ported into deodexed a rom we now have Working xposed (not my work)

Don't hold your breath for Sony or anybody else fixing it anytime soon as the apparent problem is unfixable.
Also had anyone noticed how the only devices running screwed up lollipop are the ones that were never meant to get it in the first place is like a hidden f**k you from Sony

Use any Xperia I think, is not like Z1,Z1c is a close match to the m2 specs wise you only need system app, system priv app and system framework I think.

I never tried ROM porting, I have read [STOCK][5.1.1] Xperia M2 Deodex Patch - Ported from Z1 Compact I just want to make sure with you guy's that calling & wifi will work normally? as this is my primary phone, thats why i want to be sure it is working

NB : Before you start porting a ROM you need to know several things. Over the phone you want to port the rom will have a hardware close to your, more porting will be simple and functional.
Example : Same screen resolution, processor of the same type (ARM6, ARM7, etc ....)

And lets tell Sony how the phone has framedrops on simple animations on LOLLIPOP most especially the drop down notif bar.. While Moto G 2015 doesent have any of those problems. AND THE CAMERA IN LOLLIPOP has blurry results.
Thought you might be interested to know that I've been in touch with Sony support via the Sony support forum about the deodexing tools failing constantly and xposed refusing to work since lollipop on Xperia m2,t2u and poss c3 and they have escalated the problem internally so this may be fixed or at the very least know why it was done

You'll be odexed like me currently if stock, this mod has been ported from the Z1c by gaurav and Co and is deodexed but no superuser mod(can be added) There are a few other ports on 4pda aswell from z1 this is the only way to get xposed to work and get a deodexed rom the t2u is pretty similar to m2 specs wise I'm using Nuts t2u dual recovery on my m2 with no modifications at all works flawlessly.

So how to install this patch if I m odexed
Flash via recovery, wipe dalvik cache and cache and data and reboot first boot may take a while

Hey guys, just finished modifying the SystemUI.apk of the Xperia XZ dual.
Just flash it via recovery.
It will, change the color of the notification panel in accordance with the theme. You need to restart after applying a new theme.
Also adding a version with dark gray notification panel.
I have disabled signature verification in my device but it should also work without superuser mod.
Please use this mod at your own risk, I won't be responsible if you brick your device.
Advice : System UI crashes (again and again ) after reboot when flashed on RomAur v1.2
(Flashing the rom again resolves the problem)

It's for stock rom buddy.. I haven't tested it on RomAur..

This mod was just for the marshmallow firmware.. It's not compatible with the newer firmware versions..
