I am seeing that different carrier in US have started to send out updates for Note 4(5.1.1). But at the same time I don`t see AT&T posting any news or update about the software update for Note 4. Are we getting 5.1.1 or just wait for 6.0?

Change the date on the phone manually. I checked earlier this morning with no success. When I heard the update was out, I just changed the date in settings to tomorrow and my update is downloading now. I'll report back after it's done to see if I have the same problem.

update failed for me a second time...
We won't see 6 for 6 months or so. AT&T will make sure of that.
Can anyone upload there OTA update for us that don't have wifi?
I have the update ready, but no WiFI and Kies 3 will not show a update is available for my phone even tho my phone shows it. Is there a way to trick Kies? I am connected via my HotSpot to my desktop and tablet and still can't get Kies to see a update for my N910A.

I tried deleting the caches, but no dice (and had about 7GB free then). But I did have a corrupted Contact db that was taking up 1.5gb. When I deleted it, the update worked. And after optimizing and rebooting, the address book repopulated from Google properly.

Hey guys,
A couple of hours ago I received the 4.2 update.
I have the Canadian version. I am running stock Android 4.1.2, flashed to Yakju. I am also rooted with CWM.
The update downloaded fine, however it gave me the infamous "error status 7" when it installing/flashing. When I rebooted and tried to check for update again it didn't give me the update notification .. So I am still on 4.1.2
I just thought I would share the news with ya all that it's out. If you guys know how I can get that notification again, or know where the update downloads on my device let me know and I will share the OTA here.
Cheers,

we can help you but WE NEED THE OTA OURSELVES!!!!
All you have to do is, before you even CLICK THE UPGRADE BUTTON, BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD IT, LOOK IN THE LOG AND GIVE US THE OTA LINK. We still haven't got yakju, we're all waiting desperately, the least you could do is to share the link to the OTA file with everyone here refreshing posts!
PLEASE. IF YOU GET AN UPDATE NOTIFICATION, DON'T TOUCH THE BUTTON AND DO THIS: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21025378&postcount=27
once we get the link for it we can help you!!!

..if you want stock why not just flash the factory 4.1.2 image? It'll be faster to get 4.2 anyway than AOSP roms...
even better, flash the takju 4.2 fatory imageonto your yakju phone. Have heard it works fine but remember to backup your data

I got notified for the update after it automatically downloaded at 11:38AM CST. It downloaded into /cache/fumo/ as OTAPkg.zip, just like the last update.
I have uploaded the file here for whomever would like to take it apart.

Anyhow.. Time to use that nandroid i posed in the dev section to accept the OTA.. -or- I will post an updated one later this evening.
Probably 600mb of updated NFL bloatware included and the rest just the security update.

Ran into an issue with this update. It failed to install on 11/3 with a error code 409, but when I try to download it again by selecting "Check for new system updates" it says I have the latest update. I've rebooted a number of times and it shows up every time. From what little information I can find online, I have to reset my phone to factory then attempt to update again. I want to avoid this so here I am.

Update: I decided to just to a factory reset. Thankfully it worked and I am at the latest firmware.
So I've tried letting this update run a couple times. Downloading for the third time as I write this. When it tries to install, it just reboots into TWRP recovery and does nothing. Then I restart the phone and basically start the process all over again. Any guidance on how to get this squared away?? I met one of the members here with a card who S-offed, unlocked, rooted, my phone which I'm thankful for. Just want to be stock rooted is all. Don't really do much with custom roms on this phone. Thanks.

nothing at this time... probably next year depending on asus....
not yet, I'm confident there will be the update sooner or later....

Thanks, the update is downloading while its charging....but again installation is failing in recovery......if anybody knows how to copy this update file through adb or some other means then i could post it here and see hw it performs
Extracting OTA link from watch, instructions as follows.
It will only work if you have not yet downloaded update.
First you will need to enable Developer Mode on your watch (Settings>About>Build Number)
Keep on tapping BUILD NUMBER it until says that you are now developer.
After that in Settings > Developer options > Enable ADB Debugging
And connect your watch to computer via usb and accept/agree. (Hope you have adb installed in your PC/MAC)
This only works if you have not updated already. After that follow this steps in below link.

If you're not seeing the update message yet, go check in the settings area, just keep tapping the "Check for updates" button. It may take a few bits from your system to spark the update

No joy so far, tried the Google Framework services trick too. Hmmm :fingers-crossed:
I don't know if it makes any difference but my device is a direct-from-razer Hong Kong import..maybe it's attached to a different server because if that.

I'm on Florida/USA and got the update yesterday without any problem. But try a UK server as Covlinuxguy said.

If 3UK aren't getting the update anytime soon I'll debrand and sideload it, just don't really want to as my phones all set up and it is a pita to redo some of the apps I have for work.
