I've noticed that for whatever reason my phone does not like the download booster. Whenever I run a ROM that has the download booster functioning, it causes my phone to reboot whenever I connect to WiFi even though I don't activate the booster. ROMs the don't have it connect to WiFi just fine. For example if I use the Vision-X US Tmo version I get the reboots. If I use the International version of Vision-X, WiFi works fine. Is there any way to get rid of the download booster so that I can use the ROMs that include them and also have working WiFi?

No comment regarding custom roms but I have no problem with wifi on the stock rom with it.
Yea even the stock ROM reboots for me when I connect to WiFi if it's download booster capable :banghead:

Just updated from NE6 to NF1 in hopes that it would help but I'm still having issues with all ROMs equipped with download booster.

Sounds like you need a full factory wipe and install factory stock fw, then root and rom, etc.

Att e980 on tmobile works with stock and other lg based roms but cant get it to work on cm,pac,aokp,bliss,vanir, official cm unofficial nightlies etc ...what non lg based roms have wifi tethering working or is there a fix

I have the d856 and I put miui7 rom . for now everything is working ok. I will explain the procedure
